I am working on UWP app, while deploying coming error : DEP6701 : Bootstrapping failed with unexpected error: 'DEP6960 : Source file does not exist:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Phone Tools\14.0\Debugger\target\armv4i\msvsmon.exe'
I am using Visual studio 2015, Raspberry pi 3, Windows 10 core installed in Raspberry pi.
It seems related compatibility issues.
Visual Studio 2015(Enterprise, Professional, Community) is supported "Build only" on Windows 7 for UWP development.

I've not touched the Mac.
Nothing has changed IOS wise on my Visual Studio.
However, all of a sudden 2 days ago when I go to pair to Mac it fails wit the message........
"The Mon version isntalled on the Mac may not be compatible with this version of Visual Studio. Would you like us to install Mono '5.18' for you?. This will overwrite any existing Mono installations on the Mac."
Now as I have said, nothing on these 2 machines has changed as far as I know.
If I look at the logs, I see thye following lines......amongst others...
Xamarin.Messaging.Integration.State.ServerStateContext|Information|0|Checking Mono installation...
Xamarin.Messaging.Ssh.SshCommandRunner|Verbose|0|Executing SSH command 'printenv HOME'...
Xamarin.Messaging.Ssh.SshCommandRunner|Verbose|0|Executing SSH command **'which mono64'...
Xamarin.Messaging.Ssh.SshCommandRunner|Warning|0|Failed to execute 'which mono64': ExitStatus = 1**
Xamarin.Messaging.Ssh.SshCommandRunner|Verbose|0|Executing SSH command 'which /Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/Current/bin/mono64'...
**Xamarin.Messaging.Ssh.SshCommands|Information|0|A valid Mono installation has been found at '/Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/Current/bin/mono64'**
Xamarin.Messaging.Ssh.SshCommandRunner|Verbose|0|Executing SSH command '/Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/Current/bin/mono64
What could be my issue? Is it the "Failed to execute 'which mono64'" part that is giving me my problems.
I don't want to update the Mac version of Mono if I can help it.
HELP.
I admit I am useless on a Mac bu the fact is nothing has changed that I am aware of so I 'm baffled as to why all of a sudden I cannot connect to the Mac.

SOLUTION was to plug the iPad in to the Mac.
It had been disconnected.
I have Visual Studio 2017 Version 15.7.1 + Xamarin.Android 8.3.0.19 running on Win7. When I create an F# project based on Blank App Android template, build fails with the following error:
1>FSC: error FS0193: Could not find file
'C:\Users\vhrd47\source\repos\App5\App5\ProvidedTypese4595d25-58bd-4f87-96fc-ec2d29402d62.dll'.
What am I doing wrong ?
On my Windows box I have VS 2017, and on my Mac I have Xamarin Studio 6.2.
When I try to build an iOS project in Visual Studio on Windows, it complains that "The installed Xamarin.iOS (version 10.3) on the Mac Unnamed Server () is not compatible with the local Xamarin.iOS (version 10.4)".
However, in Help -> About in VS, it reports that the Xamarin.iOS is version 10.4.0.123. On the Mac, Xamarin Studio reports that I have version 10.4.0.128. Presumably, these should be compatible. I have tried to check for updates, as noted in other questions, but there are none available.
Any hints as to what is going on here?
Those versions are not in fact compatible. Xamarin builds for VS 2017 are currently 1 build behind those for the Mac. I recommend downgrading your Mac Xamarin iOS Version to 10..4.0.123, which you can get from the your Xamarin account Downloads page:
https://store.xamarin.com/account/my/subscription/downloads#all-versions
Get the 10.4 version dated Feb 28th (or perhaps Mar 1 depending on your time zone) which is version 10.4.0.123 as installed in your VS 2017.
See this release note for more info:
https://releases.xamarin.com/category/xamarin-for-visual-studio/
and note this line in the above:
Do note that at the moment, Xamarin for Visual Studio 2017 is one build behind the version for Visual Studio 2015.
and thus is one build behind for Xamarin Studio on the Mac as well. So you can either downgrade your Mac to a matching version or go back to VS 2015.
Setup: MacBook Pro with VMWare running Win8. Using Visual Studio 2012.
Coming back to iOS development, I tried to just get a basic template test app (click me app) running to make sure everything is working, but during the deployment process (either simulator or device), I receive the following error in the output window:
