Getting Youtube channel network name - youtube

How can I get a network name from a channel without authentication?

Eventually, the solution was to scrape that data from a website that posts these stats taken from the YouTube API (That is shared with them specially).

Youtube Reporting API OAuth in Azure Data Factory

Hi guys i'm pretty new to Azure Data Factory and i'm implementing a pipeline to retrieve stats about a YouTube channel through API and storing them in a SQL Database in order to connect it to some BI services.
Using Youtube DATA API i was able to:
retrieve all the videos uploaded in the channel - API Data - PlaylistItems
some summarized stats for each one API Data - Videos - with part:statistics
The next thing i'd like to do is retrieve detailed stats for each video on a monthly basis, i was able to do this with Google Apps Script on a Google Sheets using the Youtube Analytics and Reporting API API Call Reference
In Azure Data Factory i'm struggling with the Google OAuth, the Youtube DATA API supported the API Key authentication and that was pretty easy.
Instead the Youtube Analytics and Reporting API requires the OAuth and do not support services account so the only option i believe is the server-side flow Google OAuth server side flow
I believe is possible to do, in this link a user struggled with the JSON output of these API in Data Factory - 5
Do you think it is feasible and i'm going in the right direction?
Really appreciate any help!
Thanks

Permissions to access someone's private videos on YouTube

We're working on an integration with youtube channels (using Youtube Data Api v3). We need to access the videos (private also) on our user's channels.
The flow is the following:
User authorizes his/her youtube account on our site using OAuth.
We show user the list of videos on user's youtube channel.
User selects some of them (they can be private) and sends us for processing.
We need to somehow access the actual video files which the user asks us to process.
The issue is that youtube does not give any streaming URLs or download links.
Looks like, the API provides only iframe embedded code, which works ONLY for the browser, where the user is actually logged into youtube.
How can we access(can we?!) the private video, if we have the OAuth access-token of the video owner?
The YouTube Data API lets you incorporate functions normally executed on the YouTube website into your own website or application. The lists below identify the different types of resources that you can retrieve using the API. The API also supports methods to insert, update, or delete many of these resources. This in a sense means that you can see most of what you can see on the YouTube website including uploading new videos.
Downloading Youtube videos is against their Terms of Service, so the API does not support that.
Page linked above refers to Youtube ToS that states:
You shall not download any Content unless you see a “download” or similar link displayed by YouTube on the Service for that Content.
YouTube partners may have access to this feature in their API (no idea i have never seen the api), if you have access to this i suggest you contact your manager directly they should be able to instruct you on how to access it assuming the feature exists.

Is it still possible to retrieve the user url using the YouTube Data API (v3)

I've heard that the new YouTube Data API (v3) does not retrieve the user url anymore? Is that correct?
I am the Product Owner of a Community Software and I would like to enrich the public profile of a user with social network content.
So for example as a Community Member I want to connect my community account with my YouTube Account (google+) so that I can display and share the url of my YouTube account with other community members.
Thanks for your help
With channels.list method, you'll get both G+ username as well as channel url.

Get YouTube playlist videos anonymously

I would like to display a list of videos from a YouTube playlist in an intranet application.
Is it possible to get the list of videos from a YouTube playlist using the Data api (or any other way) without requiring the user to login?
Everything that I have read so far in the YouTube data api requires the user to be signed in to authenticate.
unfortunately, you can't access youtube data API with anonymously user.
Your application must have authorization credentials to be able to use the YouTube Data API.
The Developers Console associates your credentials with the APIs that you indicate that your application will use. Note that the Developers Console does not allow you to select the YouTube Data API (v2). However, authorization credentials for the v3 API will also work for the v2 API.
If possible, you should actually use YouTube Data API (v3) rather than the v2 API in your application. The YouTube API blog explains some of the benefits that the newer API offers, and we have added a year's worth of additional functionality to the API since that blog post!

How to use the Youtube Analytics API to get the metric "earnings"?

I am a Youtube Partner and I have monetized videos on Youtube. Already receive a small monthly amount through some channels that have associated with my Google Adsense account.
Now, I would like to generate a report gathering the monetary values and views received from each channel.
I did the following question on Google Code, because I thought there was some problem in the API, but it happened that I was using the API incorrectly. See the link below.
http://code.google.com/p/gdata-issues/issues/detail?id=4826#makechanges
Now, I still could not make it work because I do not know where to find the requested data in the response I got from the link above.
Where do I find this CMS_ID? I have more than one channel, so I need to have each accepted as a Youtube Content Manager to use the API and retrieve the gains?
Someone here on Stack Overflow already managed to use the Youtube Analytics API using the metric "earnings"?
My code is in Python based on the example from Google here:
https://developers.google.com/youtube/analytics/v1/code_samples/python
I'm using the following scopes:
YOUTUBE_SCOPES = ["https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly",
"https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtubepartner",
"https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics-monetary.readonly"]
As of right now, it's only possible to retrieve monetary information in YouTube Analytics API reports when those reports are run via the context of a content owner, as described in the documentation.
It is possible to have a monetized channel that is opted in for Google AdSense ads without having that channel managed by a content owner, in which case you would not be able to get those metrics via the YouTube Analytics API.
Let's use the issue you previously opened to track the request to open up this type of report to non-content owners as well, as that's a more appropriate place for feature requests than Stack Overflow.
