I have a map program that uses 2 overlays with markers on both overlays. The problem I am having is if I hover on a marker in the overlay[0] the tooltip is underneath the markers on overlay[1]. I can override GMapBaloonTool. Is there a way when the tooltip is rendered to force it to the top?
3 years later...
The problem is that the map draws overlays one by one. Each overlay has it's own tooltips. Overlays draw later are drawn above the other layers. This may be by design. For me was not ok. So, I changed GmapOverlays.cs, method OnRender: added new parameter, drawOnlyToolTips.
public virtual void OnRender(Graphics g, bool drawOnlyToolTips = false)
{
if (Control != null)
{
if (Control.RoutesEnabled && !drawOnlyToolTips)
{
foreach (GMapRoute r in Routes)
{
if (r.IsVisible)
{
r.OnRender(g);
}
}
}
if (Control.PolygonsEnabled && !drawOnlyToolTips)
{
foreach (GMapPolygon r in Polygons)
{
if (r.IsVisible)
{
r.OnRender(g);
}
}
}
if (Control.MarkersEnabled)
{
// markers
if (!drawOnlyToolTips)
{
foreach (GMapMarker m in Markers)
{
//if(m.IsVisible && (m.DisableRegionCheck || Control.Core.currentRegion.Contains(m.LocalPosition.X, m.LocalPosition.Y)))
if (m.IsVisible || m.DisableRegionCheck)
{
m.OnRender(g);
}
}
}
// tooltips above
foreach (GMapMarker m in Markers)
{
//if(m.ToolTip != null && m.IsVisible && Control.Core.currentRegion.Contains(m.LocalPosition.X, m.LocalPosition.Y))
if (m.ToolTip != null && m.IsVisible && drawOnlyToolTips)
{
if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(m.ToolTipText) && (m.ToolTipMode == MarkerTooltipMode.Always || (m.ToolTipMode == MarkerTooltipMode.OnMouseOver && m.IsMouseOver)))
{
m.ToolTip.OnRender(g);
}
}
}
}
}
}
Next, in GMapControl.cs, method protected virtual void OnPaintOverlays(Graphics g), I changed the code in:
foreach (GMapOverlay o in Overlays)
{
if (o.IsVisibile)
{
o.OnRender(g, false); //call without drawing the tooltips
}
}
foreach (GMapOverlay o in Overlays)
{
if (o.IsVisibile)
{
o.OnRender(g, true); //draw only tooltips, after everything else is drawn
}
}

i have created an android app via xamarin.android. i have a multispinnersearch in a fragment and when opened normally, all the items inside it are preselected. but i had a problem. if the user touches the screen outside the spinner, the latter closes and all the items get into my list. i don't want that. unless he clicks "ok" in the spinner, no items should be taken to my list. so i tried to handle the touch event to prevent the selection of items on screen touch but it didn't work. here are the codes i tried:
public override bool DispatchTouchEvent(MotionEvent ev)
{
if (ev.Action == MotionEventActions.Down)
{
View v = CurrentFocus;
if (v is MultiSpinnerSearch)
{
Rect outRect = new Rect();
v.GetGlobalVisibleRect(outRect);
if (!outRect.Contains((int)ev.RawX, (int) ev.RawY))
{
Toast.MakeText(this, "shgsg", ToastLength.Long).Show();
}
}
}
return base.DispatchTouchEvent(ev);
}
i tried this in my main activity but i didn't work. then i tried this in my fragment on the ontouch listener interface:
if (e.Action == MotionEventActions.Down)
{
if (labors_dropdown.IsFocused == true)
{
Android.Graphics.Rect rect = new Rect();
labors_dropdown.GetGlobalVisibleRect(rect);
if (!rect.Contains((int)e.RawX, (int)e.RawY))
{
Toast.MakeText(this.Context, "gfgf", ToastLength.Short).Show();
}
}
}
it didn't work too, what should i do? thanks in advance.
You could try the below method:
public override bool DispatchTouchEvent(MotionEvent ev)
{
if (ev.Action == MotionEventActions.Down)
{
View v = (MultiSpinnerSearch)FindViewById<MultiSpinnerSearch>(Resource.Id.xxxxx);
if (!IsTouchPointInView(v, (int)ev.GetX(), (int)ev.GetY()))
{
Toast.MakeText(this, "shgsg", ToastLength.Long).Show();
}
}
return base.DispatchTouchEvent(ev);
}
private bool IsTouchPointInView(View targetView, int currentX, int currentY)
{
if (targetView == null)
{
return false;
}
int[] localtion = new int[2];
targetView.GetLocationOnScreen(localtion);
int left = localtion[0];
int top = localtion[1];
int right = left + targetView.MeasuredWidth;
int bottom = top + targetView.MeasuredHeight;
if (currentY >= top && currentY <= bottom && currentX >= left
&& currentX <= right)
{
return true;
}
return false;
}
I am using ARKit plugin for Unity leveraging the UnityARHitTestExample.cs.
After I place my object into the world scene I want to disable the ARKit from trying to place the object again every time I touch the screen. Can someone please help?
There are a number of ways you can achieve this, although perhaps the simplest is creating a boolean to determine whether or not your model has been placed.
First off all you would create a boolean as noted above e.g:
private bool modelPlaced = false;
Then you would set this to true within the HitTestResultType function once your model has been placed:
bool HitTestWithResultType (ARPoint point, ARHitTestResultType resultTypes)
{
List<ARHitTestResult> hitResults = UnityARSessionNativeInterface.GetARSessionNativeInterface ().HitTest (point, resultTypes);
if (hitResults.Count > 0) {
foreach (var hitResult in hitResults) {
//1. If Our Model Hasnt Been Placed Then Set Its Transform From The HitTest WorldTransform
if (!modelPlaced){
m_HitTransform.position = UnityARMatrixOps.GetPosition (hitResult.worldTransform);
m_HitTransform.rotation = UnityARMatrixOps.GetRotation (hitResult.worldTransform);
Debug.Log (string.Format ("x:{0:0.######} y:{1:0.######} z:{2:0.######}", m_HitTransform.position.x, m_HitTransform.position.y, m_HitTransform.position.z));
//2. Prevent Our Model From Being Positioned Again
modelPlaced = true;
}
return true;
}
}
return false;
}
And then in the Update() function:
void Update () {
//Only Run The HitTest If We Havent Placed Our Model
if (!modelPlaced){
if (Input.touchCount > 0 && m_HitTransform != null)
{
var touch = Input.GetTouch(0);
if (touch.phase == TouchPhase.Began || touch.phase == TouchPhase.Moved)
{
var screenPosition = Camera.main.ScreenToViewportPoint(touch.position);
ARPoint point = new ARPoint {
x = screenPosition.x,
y = screenPosition.y
};
ARHitTestResultType[] resultTypes = {
ARHitTestResultType.ARHitTestResultTypeExistingPlaneUsingExtent,
};
foreach (ARHitTestResultType resultType in resultTypes)
{
if (HitTestWithResultType (point, resultType))
{
return;
}
}
}
}
}
}
Hope it helps...
I'm hoping to get a little bit of insight on show / hide functionality in gmaps4rails.
example functionality
// == shows all markers of a particular category, and ensures the checkbox is checked ==
function show(category) {
for (var i=0; i<gmarkers.length; i++) {
if (gmarkers[i].mycategory == category) {
gmarkers[i].setVisible(true);
}
}
// == check the checkbox ==
document.getElementById(category+"box").checked = true;
}
// == hides all markers of a particular category, and ensures the checkbox is cleared ==
function hide(category) {
for (var i=0; i<gmarkers.length; i++) {
if (gmarkers[i].mycategory == category) {
gmarkers[i].setVisible(false);
}
}
// == clear the checkbox ==
document.getElementById(category+"box").checked = false;
// == close the info window, in case its open on a marker that we just hid
infowindow.close();
}
// == a checkbox has been clicked ==
function boxclick(box,category) {
if (box.checked) {
show(category);
} else {
hide(category);
}
// == rebuild the side bar
makeSidebar();
}
function myclick(i) {
google.maps.event.trigger(gmarkers[i],"click");
}
// == rebuilds the sidebar to match the markers currently displayed ==
function makeSidebar() {
var html = "";
for (var i=0; i<gmarkers.length; i++) {
if (gmarkers[i].getVisible()) {
html += '<a href="javascript:myclick(' + i + ')">' + gmarkers[i].myname + '<\/a><br>';
}
}
document.getElementById("side_bar").innerHTML = html;
}
So, in my controller, I'm building a list of markers, and including their categories as json.
#markersLoc = #locSearch.to_gmaps4rails do |loc, marker|
letter.next!
marker_image = "http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?chst=d_map_pin_letter&chld=#{letter}|82ABDD|000000"
marker.infowindow render_to_string(partial: '/events/info',
locals: {object: loc})
marker.picture({picture: marker_image,
width: 32,
height: 32,
marker_anchor: [11,30],
shadow_picture: "http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?chst=d_map_pin_shadow",
shadow_width: 110,
shadow_height: 110,
shadow_anchor: [12,34]})
marker.title loc.what
marker.sidebar render_to_string(partial: '/events/sidebar',
locals: {object: loc, letter: marker_image})
marker.json({cat: loc.category})
end
I'm kind of stuck, here. I know the :cat string is available (ex: 1,3,4), but I'm not sure how to use it to achieve what I'm after.
Was able to pretty much use what was there, with some modification. This gave me functionality to have 9 categories (could be more or less), and only view what I want. Awesome.
// == shows all markers of a particular category, and ensures the checkbox is checked ==
function show(category) {
var regEx = new RegExp("[" + category + "]")
for (var i=0; i<Gmaps.map.markers.length; i++) {
if (Gmaps.map.markers[i].cat) {
if (Gmaps.map.markers[i].cat.match(regEx)) {
Gmaps.map.showMarker(Gmaps.map.markers[i]);
}
}
}
// == check the checkbox ==
document.getElementById(category+"box").checked = true;
}
// == hides all markers of a particular category, and ensures the checkbox is cleared ==
function hide(category) {
var regEx = new RegExp("[" + category + "]")
for (var i=0; i<Gmaps.map.markers.length; i++) {
if (Gmaps.map.markers[i].cat) {
if (Gmaps.map.markers[i].cat.match(regEx)) {
Gmaps.map.hideMarker(Gmaps.map.markers[i]);
}
}
}
// == clear the checkbox ==
document.getElementById(category+"box").checked = false;
// == close the info window, in case its open on a marker that we just hid
// Gmaps.map.infowindow.close();
}
// == a checkbox has been clicked ==
function boxclick(box,category) {
if (box.checked) {
show(category);
} else {
hide(category);
}
}
I am having a DevExpress XtraTabControl with 3 XtraTabPages.
I am trying to remove a Tabpage based on a condition and after removing for the last iteration,it is getting error.
My Code is
foreach (DevExpress.XtraTab.XtraTabPage ptp in tabContactsDetails.TabPages)
{
if (tabContactsDetails.TabPages.Contains(ptp))
{
if (ptp.Name == "tabPTP")
{
if (maxid == String.Empty || maxid == null || maxid == "lblHiddenDebtorID")
{
tabContactsDetails.TabPages.Remove(ptp);
}
else
{
}
}
}
}
and I am getting an error like
Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute.
You cannot change a collection while iterating through it!
What I do is the following:
List<XtraTabPage> tabPagesToBeRemoved = new List<XtraTabPage>();
foreach (XtraTabPage ptp in tabContactsDetails.TabPages)
{
if (shouldBeRemoved())
{
tabPagesToBeRemoved.Add(ptp);
}
}
foreach (XtraTabPage pageToBeRemoved in tabPagesToBeRemoved)
{
tabContactsDetails.TabPages.Remove(pageToBeRemoved);
}
Say I have an SVG element, as follows. How do I add an onClickListener?
solved, see below.
I'm going to guess you're meaning a FieldChangeListener rather than an OnClickListener (wrong platform ;). SVGImage isn't part of the RIM-developed objects, so unfortunately you won't be able to. Anything that is going to be able to have a FieldChangeListner has to be a subclass of the net.rim.device.api.ui.Field class.
Just in case someone's interested in how it's done...
try {
InputStream inputStream = getClass().getResourceAsStream("/svg/sphere1.svg");
_image = (SVGImage)SVGImage.createImage(inputStream, null);
_animator = SVGAnimator.createAnimator(_image, "net.rim.device.api.ui.Field");
_document = _image.getDocument();
_svg123 = (SVGElement)_document.getElementById("123");
}
catch (IOException e) { e.printStackTrace(); }
Field _svgField = (Field)_animator.getTargetComponent();
_svgField.setBackground(blackBackground);
add(_svgField);
_svg123.addEventListener("click", this, false);
_svg123.addEventListener("DOMFocusIn", this, false);
_svg123.addEventListener("DOMFocusOut", this, false);
}
public void handleEvent(Event evt) {
if( _svg123 == evt.getCurrentTarget() && evt.getType() == "click" ){ Dialog.alert("You clicked 123"); }
if( _svg123 == evt.getCurrentTarget() && evt.getType() == "DOMFocusIn" ) { ((SVGElement) _document.getElementById("outStroke123")).setTrait("fill", "#FF0000"); }
if( _svg123 == evt.getCurrentTarget() && evt.getType() == "DOMFocusOut" ) { ((SVGElement) _document.getElementById("outStroke123")).setTrait("fill", "#2F4F75"); }
}
