Upon moving a spring boot application main class (Refactoring) to a top level package, the application no longer works as before. It does seems like Security or property file related issue. I need help in resolving this. The application did not have these issue before the Main class was moved.
package com.erpproducts.core;
#SpringBootApplication
#EnableJpaRepositories("com.erpproducts.core.db.repository")
#EntityScan("com.erpproducts.core.db.model")
public class FeesApplication {
public static void main(String[] args) {
SpringApplication.run(FeesApplication.class, args);
}
}

I'm new to Spring Security. I configured my application to secure all endpoints except "/", "/error", "/webjars/**". But when I access http://localhost:8080/ which matches "/" but then my browser returned HTTP ERROR 401.
Here is my configuration:
#Bean
public SecurityFilterChain filterChain(HttpSecurity http) throws Exception {
http
.authorizeHttpRequests(auth -> auth
.requestMatchers("/", "/error", "/webjars/**").permitAll()
.anyRequest().authenticated())
.exceptionHandling(e -> e.authenticationEntryPoint(new HttpStatusEntryPoint(HttpStatus.UNAUTHORIZED)))
.oauth2Login();
return http.build();
}

I am trying to run the multiple users sample referred in the spring documentation https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-session/tree/1.2.2.RELEASE//samples/users. However, I am facing an issue because it starts to look for a applicationContext.xml file. I dont understand why this happens when i am using a java-based approach to initialize the config(similar to the example). Below is the log snippet and the exception trace from eclipse concole:
