I don't understand the issue. Could someone help me? The master and slave are correctly set up as far as i can see. Thanks in advance!

This is a two-year old question, but for what it's worth, I had the same thing happen to me. I fixed it by removing the slave and then adding it back in. It was previously add and the log file showed it, so not sure what was wrong. At any rate, if this happens to anyone, give that a try.

I kill the java process and tried again with success.

Turned out to be an SSH permission denied issue for me. I discovered that by disconnecting and relaunching the node.

Jenkins throws NullPointerException after upgrading Splunk plugin

I got tired of the security prompt at the top of the Jenkins window telling me to upgrade my plugins, so I upgraded those plugins. When I rebooted, the familiar Jenkins landing page was replaced with the following stack trace:

Is there any way to recover from this aside from restoring a backup? I don't presently have shell access to the system, so please keep that in mind for your answers.
Jenkins version: 2.46.2
Splunk plugin version: 1.3.1
I was able to get SSH access to the system and did the following to solve my problem. Solution taken from the Removing and Disabling Plugins wiki page.
touch /var/lib/jenkins/plugins/splunk-devops.jpi.disabled
touch /var/lib/jenkins/plugins/splunk-devops-extend.jpi.disabled
Then, I rebooted. From the documentation, I assume that this is possible with any plugin.

after my build. This error marked build as FAILED.
But I need to forcibly mark it as SUCCESS, because I got successful result of build - *.exe link of my distrib.
I've tried to use Jenkins Text Finder plugin:
Settings of JTF
It was looking for my regex in console output and mark build successful but it didn't work as I expected - it found regex, but didn't mark build successful.
Is there another way to solve this problem?
This isn't possible — the build result can only be marked as worse than the existing result, and therefore the Text Finder plugin can only set your build as UNSTABLE or FAILED.
It would appear that you need to wait for a resolution to JENKINS-20481. You should add as much detail to that ticket as you can to help.

I've the same problem. It is caused by incorrect coverity analysis path setting. Check your settings on every build jobs.
