I have 2 divs in my page tab1 and tab2.
I would like to export both divs in 1 PDF file with tab1 as the 1st page and tab2 starting from the following page.
Currently the 2nd div appears broken in the exported file hence I would like to have the div appear from the next page.
Any help would be appreciated.
Just use <!--ADD_PAGE--> (ADD_PAGE with in commented angular <> braces) from where you want new page.
It works.

I have a .gsp file where I have 2 forms containing a button for print. I need to print out a page using the information using 2nd form content when print button is pressed.
How can I do this?
On click of the print button, you can populate a hidden div with the form information. Then using a CSS print stylesheet (using media queries), you can format that div to print the information as you see fit.
If you are looking to popup the print dialog on click, then use window.print() in your javascript code.
I am using primefaces 3.5, the latest release for our development work! In our homepage, we display the rows of data. When we click a row onRowSelect (SelectEvent) event we navigate to the next page with the Navigation Handler. On this landing page, I have a dataTable with expandable rows which has data in it. When I click the rowToggle icon the data is displayed in row expansion section (as it should normally).
What I need is to show the data automatically when page is loaded, with the rowToggler displaying down.
How can I achieve this?
This can be achieved using a bit of JavaScript (jQuery). All you have to do, is as your page loads call the click action of the RowExpander.
Something like this would work :
jQuery('.ui-row-toggler').click()
You can place this in your body onLoad attribute.

I m using a Ajax Tab panel in my application.
There are 4 tabs on Left hand side and a partial view on right hand side.
In each of these tab I m displaying some data and there is a select link button on each tab.
when I click on any of the select link button I m filling the partial view with some information.
When this happens my view is completly loaded again.
A B C D
eg these are the tabs.
let us suppose that I m on tab B and now when I click on the select link button My view is completly loaded with information.
but the tab loose the focus at this point. I comes back to the default value.
so I want help on this
1) either I have to refresh only the partial view without loading the complete page
2) or I need to maintain active tab index value on click on select link button
Please help me with this problem
and provide me examples
jQuery Tabs - Load contents only when clicked
Here is the example which loading content of the tabs dynamically by Ajax. It is for PHP what you need to change is put controller/action instead of URL of the PHP page.
$.get("controller/action", {tab_clicked, "my_tab"}, tab_fetch_cb, "text/json/xml");
or else instead of Ajax.ActionLink
use <a onclick="LoadTab(#item.ID)">Item #item.ID</a>
and jquery function to change the tab and load data dyanamicaly
function LoadTab(id){
//Change tab here Ex: $('#tabs').tabs('select', index);
$.get('ajax/test.html', {Id, id},function(data) {
$('#Partial_Controller_Name').html(data);
});
}
Write an ajax call on click event of tab and load the partial view in the container of the tab
This can be done using RjsResult class
if using mvc1 u can use RjsResult.cs
by this..you can update as many div you want in a page...
use this for implementation
public ActionResult Some_Method(){
RjsResult r = new RjsResult();
ViewData["SomeData"] = Some_Function();
r.update("DIV_id","PartialPagePath",ViewData,ControllerContext);
return r;
}
so when you click on somethink..this function will be implemnted and will refresh you div with tht partial
View part
<div id="DIV_id"></div>
you can update as many dv as you want with a single click :)
For some reason my page footer with the date and page x/y gets only printed on the very last page. Does anyone have an idea why?
I am using JasperReports 3.1.2 and iReport 3.0.0.
EDIT: just for the record: it worked after I moved two subreports and two page breaks from the Title band to the Detail band. Don't know why I put them there, but now it works..
You can select which band to add. just use page footer instead last page footer. Last page footer is used when you want something to be printed at last, but the contain is so much that it overflows to many pages.
Most probably you are using the `Last Page Footer' band, instead of the 'Page Footer' band.
Well here's the problem:
I have a PHP index page which uses show/hide layers javascript. I am using the on menu.click function to show and hide content relevant to each menu. On.click all divs are hidden except the content for that menu item , which fades in. The content relating to each menu item are displayed within separate DIVS. The property is applied to all the text within all the divs.
See: http://jobe-group.com/jobeco/uk/2010live/dynamic/content/index.php#
The trouble is that SIFR only appears to be applied to the displayed on.load when the page is first loaded. When this is hidden and the other s shown through the "show" function they load in classic CSS fonts without the SIFR applied.
Is this unavoidable with the SIFR setup. Or am I not calling the divs properly. I have set the SIFR to apply to the selector and indeed it works fine on the for the displayed on load. It doesn't work for the within other . In theory I would think its possible to load the SIFR on all divs on page.load even if those divs are presently visibility:hidden.
What's the verdict on this?
Hope someone can help.
Cheers,
John
After you show the previously hidden div, execute the sIFR.replace calls again to replace the content in those elements.
