I need to distribute apps for my company from SharePoint online platform.
The problem is that when I put on the SharePoint online platform a link like:
Install App »
The system erase it leaving just an empty "a" tag like:
<a>Install App »</a>
Is what I'm trying to do possible? Is there any other way to do that?
why erase it?
Thank you very much

I am trying to find a way to host my enterprise distributed apps on our company Sharepoint site. I created a site and uploaded the .plist and the .ipa files to the site's "documents", linking them with the <a href="itms-services://?action=download-manifest&url=[link to plist]-command but i does not seem to work, tapping the link on the iOS device nothing happens. Is there a workable strategy hosting both the app installations files and the download link on Sharepoint.
Several community articles mention that the root-cause of this issue is an authentication layer; if we consider this to be a root-cause, the entire SharePoint (OnPremises or Online) or any web site that contains an authentication provider will prevent the proper consumption of these files; BUT, I don't think it's the real problem, because the file extensions mentioned in your question are not supported by MIME types in SharePoint. Please, if possible, inspect the link with Browser Developer Tools and verify that the HTML of the link is rendered correctly; unfortunately, there is not much hope in solving this problem natively. You may try to develop some custom App for SharePoint using SharePoint Framework (SPFx) or SharePoint Add-In Hosted App to try to solve this issue, but you will have a hard work to do
Looking at the Google Assistant developer platform docs, and perhaps I missed it. What I would like to do is essentially build a kiosk "app" -- one that is up on the screen by default. E.g. when you go to Best Buy and they have their demo app up on the computers as you shop.
So, on a Google Home Hub device that this app is installed on, it would be the "default" app -- like how photos show up after a period of inactivity.
Is this possible?
No, the platform does not have a way for third-party developers to build an application that runs on the "homescreen" nor is there a way to change the homescreen application.
Need to create MS Teams App creation trough script or an MS Teams API
Currently, we are creating the below steps manually through MS Teams site
Build a new App / configure BOT
Import existing App
Is there a way without accessing MS Teams App studio, can we create an App?
Your question's not really to clear, perhaps you can explain more. Basically though, App Studio helps with a few different things. In this case you're probably using it for the following:
1) Creating an app manifest - App Studio has a nice "wizard" to help create the manifest, but the manifest is just a zip file with some logo images and a JSON file inside - you can definitely create these without App Studio (but it's much nicer to do it inside App Studio - you can export it afterwards to get the zip file)
2) Installing your app - you -definitely- don't need App Studio for this. You can install your app in various ways. The most simple for a user, of course, is to be in the store, but even without that it's possible. The app needs to be "side-loaded", and you can do this in App Studio, or in the "Apps" list in Teams (right on the bottom of the left menu is an option to "upload a custom app") - for both of these, your organisation has to allow side loading of apps to Teams. If this is blocked, then you admin needs to side-load the app and make it available company-wide (or it can be restricted based on policies at https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/policies/app-setup/add)
Hope that helps
#MSTD Creating a Teams app can be done in 2 ways
Manually editing the manifest file in the solution, zip it and sideloading it into Teams.
Using App studio to create the app.
Currently, there is no API/Script to create the app package.
I am developing a Windows Phone 8.1 application, since this application is only used intern its unnecessary to upload it to the store. We'd like to share it through a download link instead.
I'd like to know if this is possible for Windows Phone applications since I didn't find anything about it.
Yes, you can publish your app with link only download from your "Distribution and visibility" section in dev center. If you select this option than people with only app link can download your app and it will be hidden in the store from global availability.
Please check this MSDN documentation for more details.
I have developed an 'App for Office' (for Word) that runs as a task-pane app. When I open a Word Document, I can add my app and let it run on the task-pane.
How can I run my app when I am on my iPhone/iPad and using the iOS version of Microsoft Word? I wasn't able to find where I can add my app into the document.
I am aware this is more of a support question for Microsoft, but Stackoverflow seems to be the best place for now (I couldn't find any relevant StackExchange site).
Store add-ins are definitely supported on IOS in general, but not all add-ins. The developer has to tick a box and provide evidence that the add-in has been tested on IOS for it to be available to users, so the IOS versions of Office will have less add-ins available.
That said, you should be able to see the ones that are available via the Insert menu. Look for Store or My Add-ins under the Insert menu.
