I am trying to integrate onedrive for my ios app. I am using onedrive ios sdk for that. I am calling ODClient.authenticatedClientWithCompletion for launching authentication screen. This does launch authentication screen, and I am able to login. However in the authentication screen, both Sign In and 'No Account? Create One' option is visible. According to apple guideline an app will be rejected, if its integration point has create account option, as its violates their policy. This is the reason why dropbox, google drive sdk's for ios, does not have create account option. Is there a way by which I can disable or remove 'Create Account' option from one drive authentication screen.
Looks like Apple policies has been changed. My app was approved even though, even though one drive's create account option coming.

I've been tasked with adding a "Sign In with Google" button to an iOS app. For background, I'm a contract developer doing work for a customer, and I do not own the app in question.
I did a quick search for how to do this, but the only answer I could find involved "set up a project in the Google API console" followed by "add a GIDSignInButton to your layout".
I do not have access to the app owner's Google Developer account (or know if they even have one), and I certainly do not want to "set up a project" in my own Google account that is associated with a customer's app.
Furthermore, the iOS project I'm working with does not currently have any third-party library integrations (no Swift packages, no CocoaPods, no workspace file) and I strongly prefer to keep it this way.
Is it possible to do Google authentication using a standard OAuth process (i.e. open a web page, and handle the redirect after authentication completes)? I have done other OAuth integrations this way so I know how it works.
Thanks,
Frank
Yes, you can sign-in using OAuth without using an SDK. Here are the instructions.
You will be required to setup a project and configure it's OAuth settings. This manages how your app will appear to users and implements OAuth security controls. No way around this, so you'll want to work with your Google Cloud administrator to gain access to an existing project or create a new one.
I'm trying to find a way to unauthorize / unlink / disconnect my iOS App from the users GoogleDrive account.
Google exactly describes in their references and tutorials how to authorize the App but not the other way around. I already tried something like:
[_serviceDrive.authorizer stopAuthorization];
NSLog(#"%d", self.isAuthorized);
but NSLog is still returning "1", so it's still authorized and I still can see my App on Google's Connected Apps website.
Does anybody know how to disconnect it?
You can remove Google Drive apps by revoking its permission. You can do this by following this steps:
Go to accounts.google.com.
Click Connected apps & sites.
Click Manage apps.
Click an app you want to remove.
Click Remove.
Click OK.
Another way is by revoking the access of a token in application.
For applications that create app activities, users can revoke actions using the App Settings page.
For all applications, including those that write app activities, a user can revoke authorization by following the "Websites authorized to access the account" link from the Google Dashboard. Users can go directly to the authorization manager at https://accounts.google.com/issuedauthsubtokens and revoke access.
I'm using this package for Facebook OAuth:
https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-native-facebook-login
If I use FBLoginManager.LoginBehaviors.SystemAccount, when the user taps the Facebook login button, iOS will pop up a dialog asking if they want to grant access to the app. While this is convenient, the only drawback I've noticed is that I can ask for a dozen different permissions and the user has no clue what my app is requesting, nor can they selectively choose what to share.
Is there some way to give them this choice using the native iOS Facebook account? Or should I just use FBLoginManager.LoginBehaviors.Native which pops up an in-app browser for them to authenticate. (I was under the impression, according to the documentation, that it would switch to the Facebook app, but that doesn't happen)
The native iOS implementation (the one built by Apple) does not support the granular permission dialog you will see when doing login through the native Facebook app or the Safari View Controller flow so your only option is to fallback to any login method that does not involve the native OS implementation.
I am an iOS developer that recently integrated the Facebook SDK into my company's mobile app. We already had an existing business page, and as an admin of that page I tried to "Create an App" - to which facebook told me I needed to do so from a personal account. After logging in to a personal account I created the iOS app following the directions, and everything thus far works 100% for the exception of one thing - linking facebook shares from the iOS app to our business facebook page via the web (not the app). In other words, when sharing information from our app, inside of the share dialog on facebook when users click on in "John Doe shared a link via ", I want users to be directed to our facebook page. I currently have it working so that if the user is on facebook using the mobile app and they click on the share it takes them to the app store if they dont have the app or opens the app if they have it, but if they are on their computer and click on the company name I want to direct them to our facebook page.
After becoming an admin for the business facebook page on my personal account, I was able to go to "Manage Apps", "Edit App", and then "App Details", where there is a section to "select an existing facebook page" that I am an admin for. The dropdown includes the business' facebook page, and after selecting it and then hitting save I am given the following message:
"Error. We were unable to update the association between your Facebook Page and your app. Try again later."
This has been going on for a few days now. Does anyone know what the issue is?
This error seems to crop up for a multitude of reasons, so you'll need to check a few things :
Under the "Settings" for your application, make sure Sandbox Mode is still disabled.
Verify that your App Id and App Secret have not changed.
Make sure the page is categorized as an App Page (and can be found under Brands & Products)
Make sure the Page name contains your app name.
Apparently this was a known issue with Facebook, and has since been fixed by them.

Every time i want to login through the Facebook idk, safari will be opened and tells me that my app is allready authorized. But i dont want to show this screen everytime a user logs in with Facebook. I followed the instructions over here to implement facebook login functionality. If the auth button is clicked i simple call the openSessionWithAllowLoginMethod which then handles the rest for me. But i dont how to apply the functionality, that it wont show the authorized screen everytime, to this code ? I would really appreciate some tips or hints.
Fill out every field related to your app in the Native iOS App section of the Basic Settings in the App Dashboard. If these fields are not configured, we can't drive traffic to your app or the iOS App Store. In addition, we use the iOS Bundle ID to streamline authentication for users who already authenticated your app. Pro-tip 3: Complete all iOS App Settings
