how to make TNImageSliderViewController to slide automatically - ios

I'm using TNImageSliderViewController and It's working great. The only problem I have with it doesn't have the ability to auto slides image .For example I need the slides to changes every 2 seconds . But How can I add this ability to it?
thanks

I added "Auto slider" and "Reset from beginning" options to TNImageSliderViewController - and Frederik has merged the changes. So, now you can update using pods.

iOS Swift 4 before loading content

I build chat app using Firebase API right now. I wan't to make preload icons like on facebook screenshot. I thought i can create empty images and label fields and fill them after content loaded, but i don't know how to check if all data loaded from DB. How i can do that in correct way?
This is where i want to place objects
Install ListPlaceholder this lib.
import ListPlaceholder
To show the loader, start showing this from start
tableView.showLoader()
To hide the loader, end showing after data has been loaded
tableView.hideLoader()
Please refer this may get help.
https://github.com/malkouz/ListPlaceholder
Facebook has it's own library called Shimmer. To use this on tableview, you can follow this StackOverflow question answer.
You'll just have to create the UIView you want to animate and above that you'll have to add your FBShimmeringView. At the end set shimmeringView.shimmering = true to start shimmering
To hide the loading use tableView.hideLoader()
ListPlaceholder helped me to resolve the issue. All that I did was added the ListLoader.swift file to my project and added tableView.reloadData(), tableView.showLoader() in viewDidAppear in the tableView where I wanted to show loading.
( ListLoader.swif uses visibleCells to determine the number of rows on which the loading should be shown. In my applications, visibleCell's count was incorrect on calling tableView.showLoader() method in viewDidLoad )

WatchKit Long Look: how to start content from underneath the Sash?

I found following text in the Apple documentation about WatchKit's Long Look (the detail view of a push notification):
The content area ... For custom interfaces, you can configure this area to start underneath the sash or just below it.
How to start the content from underneath the sash? I'd like to partially overlap an image with the sash, but couldn't find any options for that (could only layout all my content below the sash).
On the watchkit forums over at developer.apple.com there was a discussion about this topic. It's removed from beta 5 by design and that's all we know right now.
edit: I found out how to get this to work!
Select the "Static Notification Interface Controller"
Change the color field
This is good question and...I can't answer it directly.
The thing is: if you download Xcode Beta 4, content will start from underneath the Sash.
However in Xcode Beta 5 it starts from below lower edge of sash. Don't know whether it's a bug or feature.

why storyboard ui elements not showing on UIViewController in xcode 6?

I am new to IOS development. I am developing an app for IOS 8 devices. I used storyboard for my design yesterday my storyboard showing all UI design but today morning it show blank UIViewController no UI element vision please see in screen shot and very strange thing is that when i run my app all ui element visible in my device. I google but dont find any solution please help me out. Thank you in advance.
It looks to me like you are using size class and you went into a particular size class and added these views. Now you are back in Any size class, so the views are not there (that is why they are greyed out in the document outline at the left). They are available only for that particular size class. If you switch back to it again, whatever it was, you will see them again. Basically, you have created conditional views - the condition being that they are present only when that particular size class situation is the case.
In other words, if you want your layout to apply in the general case, you want to start by creating and editing it under Any size classes. Only then do you switch to a particular size class and modify the layout for that particular size class.
when i run my app all ui element visible in my device
Yes, because on your device the particular size class situation matches the size class you were editing when you added those views. So there they are. That seems to me to prove my guess is right.
I have the same issue while copy a ViewController to another storyboard.
Fixed by following steps:
1: Select the viewController
2: Click on 5th Tab
3: Set the simulated size to Fixed.
Select install:
Since all components [like label,textfield,buttons] are in disable mode, one select Installed check mark its will be enable again adjust constrain accordingly.
The size must be the same, in all xcode storyboard
In my case, it was due to me setting alpha to 0.0 and forgetting it.

Why does my labels, input fields etc greyed out

I was working on this project and it was fine. Today morning when i opened my project i see this. Everything is greyed out. I don't see any of them on my View Controller. Also the view controller is kind of greyed out.
Interestingly if i try to run my app it works fine. Please help me. Let me know if you want to know any specific about anything. Its a almost completed app and am very freaked out right now!
[Using: IOS8,Swift, Xcode 6 Beta 4]
Did you use size classes?
Try to switch to wAny/hAny (bottom of the IB window) and see if your controls reappear.

iOS UI Automated Testing: How to pull down, drag or scroll in a CollectionView?

I am testing my app with the UI Automated Testing framework. I have a UIACollectionView I would like to pull down or drag my CollectionView. I already tried the ways from the documentation:
to drag up
target.dragInsideWithOptions({startOffset:{x:0.5, y:0.9}, endOffset:{x:0.5, y:0.2}, duration:2.0});
or to pull down:
target.dragInsideWithOptions({startOffset:{x:0.5, y:0.3}, endOffset:{x:0.5, y:0.8}, duration:2.0});
when this didnt work I tried to use the inheritated methods of the UIAScrollView. chatList is my UIACollectionView
archivedChatCell = chatList.cells()["Noise"]
archivedChatCell.scrollToElementWithValueForKey(1, "isVisible")
chatList.scrollDown()
chatList.scrollToElementWithPredicate("Noise")
But nothing is moving in the screen. I read in some threads that this (dragInsideWithOptions) is a Apple problem that needs to be fixed for the iOS7 UI Testing.
Does someone have any idea what the problem is? Am I missing something or is there a work around for that?
The weird thing is, I am using the same code in a different CollectionView in my App, the dragInsideWithOptions works fine and drags or pulls the screen.
thank you
Yes, dragInsideWithOptions and flickInsideWithOptions are not working on the simulator. However, they do work on a real device. Therefore, my suggestion is to use a real device until Apple fixes the problem.
