I am trying to share different type of images using UIActivityViewController to facebook messenger. I am facing no problem while sharing the images (.png), but I am not able to send gif images (.gif), it is giving error "Couldn't load content".
I am converting the image to data & then sending the data in array through UIActivityViewController.
Here, I am firing a notification with the details & extracting the gif path & then processing it.

NSData *imageData = [NSData dataWithContentsOfFile:dictAsset[#"path"]];

Has anyone faced same issue? or if anyone has a solution then please help me out.
iOS does not consider a GIF an image. You have to instead share it as a file:
NSURL *gifFile = [NSURL fileURLWithPath:#"funnyface.gif"];
NSArray *items = #[gifFile];
[[UIActivityViewController alloc] initWithActivityItems:items applicationActivities:nil];

If I do understand your question then, to share PDF with Evernote from your iOS app, can be achieved via UIActivityViewController.
try this:

With the code above, You could scroll over on UIActivityViewController’s share section, and use other custom share extensions like Evernote.
You didn’t have to do a thing. As a user, just click the more button to show the ones you want in the share sheet. As a developer, you don’t have to do anything to your UIActivityViewController to show custom Share and Action Extensions.

I am using UIActivityViewController to share images.
As it share image on facebook or email. Then image gets rotate. Why it is so ?
My Code is as follows:

I know this was asked awhile ago but I ran into the same problem and here is my solution.
I found this site bug in UIActivityViewController
Here is the paragraph that I found useful from the site,
Notes: It seems when the system converts the UIImage into an NSData for the MFMailComposeViewController (and other UIActivities) it does NOT preserve the orientation information. This is why when an NSData is passed in, it is rotated correctly as the system doesn't have to convert it.
So here is part of the code I was using in my case (taking a photo),
NSData *imageData = [AVCaptureStillImageOutput jpegStillImageNSDataRepresentation:imageDataSampleBuffer];
UIImage *image = [[UIImage alloc] initWithData:imageData];
Then the facebook function from the UIActivityViewController was taking the UIImage and converting that back into NSData. So what I did was use the NSData *imageData and put that directly into my activityViewController.

I'm trying to share an image and text.
But when i'm trying to share using whatsapp i dont see the image and it doesnt get sent (i do see it when i'm trying to share to facebook or mail...).

I have a basic UIActivityViewController sharing some text and a URL. The sharing options are Email, SMS, Twitter, and Facebook. Everything works fine in iOS 6 but in iOS 7 when I choose Twitter or Facebook, without touching anything my device automatically closes my app, opens Safari and goes to the URL I am trying to share. What could be causing this?

So I still don't know why only shortened URLs were causing this problem, but a solution that took care of it was to include the urlToShare in the textToShare.

How do I send an email using UIActivityViewController with a quick message and a link? I have tried using an NSURL:

This seems to work fine in iOS 7:

If you share an object that conforms to the UIActivityItemSource protocol, then you will be able to specify what the email's subject should be too!
tl;dr: Use basic html in an NSString to wrap the desired email contents
In my case, I did not need to post a photo as long as an image was retrieved from the link I needed to share (just like when you post a link on your Facebook timeline and it automatically grabs a picture from that link, and the picture becomes the link). In order to do that, I figured out that if I posted only an URL it does not work. You have to post some initial text and then the URL, and you do so by putting the objects in that order within the activityItems array.
This is my working code:
NSArray * activityItems = #[[NSString stringWithFormat:#"Some initial text."], [NSURL URLWithString:#"http://www.google.com"]];
NSArray * applicationActivities = nil;
NSArray * excludeActivities = #[UIActivityTypeAssignToContact, UIActivityTypeCopyToPasteboard, UIActivityTypePostToWeibo, UIActivityTypePrint, UIActivityTypeMessage];
UIActivityViewController * activityController = [[UIActivityViewController alloc] initWithActivityItems:activityItems applicationActivities:applicationActivities];
activityController.excludedActivityTypes = excludeActivities;
[self presentViewController:activityController animated:YES completion:nil];
I also noticed that if you post a photo along these objects, it will not retrieve any image from the link.
