I'm downloading the archive from ardaka.com/koa.zip. After downloading I need to extract it but I cannot. Which module that need to use? I tried to use Simple Unzipper and SSZipArchive, but it didn't helped. My second question is how to display the html content that I extracted? You can see the code for webView that I used but I cannot access the html file which is located(I think I can extract it in documents) in Documents folder. Maybe I can use other archive formats if there is useful extractor.

I'm trying to write some descriptions to image documents for clarification reasons. Is it possible to write descriptions to document files like in Android or not? If so how?
Developer Note: For those of you who don't know, saving to the Photos app gives you very limited options. (You can't name your file, change the extension from Jpeg to png, make sub-directories etc.)

As I understand from Apple documentation, that there is sandbox for each app , so there local storage to the app can save data and files inside it and the other apps can not access its data and files, but I tried to create file by app and retrieved file URL from it and create another app and pass the file URL to it, but the new app open this file successfully, why that happen? the other app must can not be able to open the file according to Apple documentation

I want to in my app, be able to allow users to save large images(jpg) as well as data for each image(txt) and load the images/data. I'm having trouble figuring out where to save these images and text files. Userdefault wouldnt work because of the size of the image files and I don't want to save in the documents directory because then the user can access and potentially corrupt the data.
Where is a good place to save large data files for my app so I can load them later?
You can save and retrieve your files in application directory folder. Also you can use iCloud to save your files.
Use below code if you want to save and retrieve files from Directory folder .

If for some reason you don't want to use the documents directory, or you want those data in a separate folder, or you don't want to permanently save them, you can also create your own temporary directory

The player loads but it never plays, It just sits there spinning. so i am wondering if i am passing the url to the player correctly?
i read on one thread to use file:// before it but that didn't work.
In the place where you're creating an NSURL, you have the replace the argument name string to fileURLWithPath
Change
NSURL(string: audioFileURL!)
to
NSURL(fileURLWithPath: audioFileURL!)
Also, why are you casting NSURL to URL ? Why not use URL directly?

I've been trying to create a Today extension that needs access to a .plist file in the documents directory. I have setup the App group for both the app and the extension.
While I have seen examples for NSUserDefaults, I couldn't find anything for accessing files.
I tried accessing the file like this (which works in the app itself)

The documentation says something about using NSFileCoordinator and NSFilePresenter. I couldn't find out how to use them though. I'm sure I'll need to tell them the app group identifier somewhere but I don't where.
I got it to work. Since I don't need to write the file from the extension, I don't think I need to use NSFileCoordinator. Turns out NSFileManager has a method containerURLForSecurityApplicationGroupIdentifier() for retrieving the container URL.
