I want to give attachment uploading functionality in table format, so that for every employee user can upload separate attachment.
For this I am trying to use sap.ui.commons.FileUploader in a column.
It gets successfully displayed but however when I try to upload files and then go to the next page those files remain there itself and I'm not getting blank value in the text area of the FileUploader.
Is there anyone who have successfully implemented this?
Use Unified FileUpoloader
in XML view:
<sap.ui.unified:FileUploader id="fileUploader" width="100%"
uploadUrl="" uploadOnChange="false" uploadComplete="handleUploadComplete"
change="handleValueChange" typeMissmatch="handleTypeMissmatch"
style="Emphasized" useMultipart="false" />
in Controller:
On your next page navigation button click action
this.byId("fileUploader").setValue("");
Note: If you are using this make sure you add & remove "slug" and "x-csrf-token" as header parameters.
The sap.ui.commons.FileUploader is deprecated since version 1.21. You should better use sap.ui.unified.FileUploader instead, which has a value property which you can set to null when navigating away
EDIT I know understand you mean pagination. See this working example: http://jsfiddle.net/ed17a6s1/

This is my first time round using Umbraco and I have created Document Types / Pages using the wrong naming format and now this has transpired into my page URL's, for instance /about-page/. How would I go about changing them to /about as I have searched the back-end admin panel and there dose't seem to be an option to change their link to document values.
Would anyone be able to provide a simple code based example using umbracoUrlAlias or umbracoUrlName how I could change this preferably in Razor.
Thanks

Correct Solution:
Create Property on in Document Types which applies to all pages you want to change the URL
Call the name anything you want e.g Page URL and Possibly give it a new tab.
Call the alias umbracoUrlName
Type as text sting
Should not be Mandatory (As when you start replacing .Url with .umbracoUrlAlias within the views it will need to be present)
Tab as Generic
Click Save on top right on the page
Added screenshot for starter kit on Umbraco v7.2.5
Unless I'm very much misunderstanding your issue, you should just be able to change the name of your page and republish. This doesn't need an additional field, just change the value in the "Properties" tab and republish the page. This will automatically change the URL of the page.
You can also create a property called umbracoUrlName using a TextString property editor. If this has a value then it will generate the URL fragment for the page using this value, rather than the page name. This changes the URL for the page, rather than creating an alias, like umbracoUrlAlias.
Solution:
Create property on in Document Types which applies to all pages you want to change the URL
Call the name anything you want e.g Page URL and Possibly give it a new tab.
Call the alias umbracoUrlAlias
Type as text sting
Make it required (As when you start replacing .Url with .umbracoUrlAlias within the views it will need to be present)
Go into all your pages and rename them using the property you just created
Now with your code, say with the navigation where you have used .Url change it to .umbracoUrlAlias and the new URL's will be used.
Note if you don't use .umbracoUrlAlias the links will still be active i.e. they work but they won't be displayed in the address bar as .Url spits out the original ones associated with the page.
You can apply on URL names in web.config:
In section find:
<add key="umbracoUseDirectoryUrls" value="false" />
this will set url names for new created items to name.aspx
If you set this to 'true' then new items will be named like /name/
Additionaly you might want to avoid of Handling some urls by Umbraco pipline, just use this setting - add URLs which must be bypassed:
<add key="umbracoReservedUrls" value="~/config/splashes/booting.aspx,~/install/default.aspx,~/config/splashes/noNodes.aspx,~/VSEnterpriseHelper.axd" />
am developing an application in which i have to show the customer purchase details supplier wise. for that i have develop user control an add it on page. but the problem it that on user control i need to add a ling to promotional offer page for that supplier which show the current offers of the supplier. for that i have added the hyperlink as fallow to user control
<asp:HyperLink ID="PromoLink" runat="server">Have promo Code ?</asp:HyperLink>
and set the navigation URL as fallow
PromoLink.NavigateUrl = "Promotion.aspx?Filter=" + dt.Rows[0]["SuppId"].ToString();
but when page is load in does not render the navigation url to the link.
i donot why it does not render the url plz help to get out of this.
thanks in advance.
Make sure that the pathing is correct for the NavigateURL property. Try adding "~/" at the start of the NavigateURL or "../" if it is not in the same folder as the current file.
Make sure that the dt.Rows[0]["SuppId"] is actually getting the value that you expect.
Step through code in the debugger to verify that the Page_Load event that you are using is actually executing and modifying the value as you would expect it to.
Say I create an HTML file with two .page on it. In the first .page, I'd like to have a link to the second .page.
Is there a way to navigate between pages without having to write my own JS? This seems to suggest I do have to write JS: http://view.jquerymobile.com/1.3.2/dist/demos/widgets/navigation/.
However, I'd would rather set an id attribute for one of the pages, then maybe define some data attribute in the link to tell jQuery mobile where to go. Possible?
I'd also like to specify what kind of transition effect to use.
You can use standard anchor links, just give an id to your page and set the transition via the data attribute
Link to Page 2
I am still pretty new to Rails and am working on a basic app and have run into a problem, which I can't seem to get around, sorry if this question has already been answered, but searching didn't yield me any results.
Basically I am creating an app that catalogues all of someones's clothes, Now the main page is the index page of everything they have logged, and each picture is linked to the show page where more information is revealed. I want to use AJAX to bring that show page to the side of the main index page. I am working off of another tutorial to figure this out but have run into a problem. On the initial load of my index page, I need to define a variable for that show page so that it can be rendered using a partial, but I can't use find(params[:id]) since the user hasn't selected anything yet. So my question is how do I set that initial value to either just the first item in the catalogue or not have anything appear, and then when someone does click the link, the sidebar shows the more detailed description of the piece of clothing.
Thanks for any help.
#object = params[:id] ? MyModel.find(params[:id]) : MyModel.first
But I think there's some problem with design of application.
You might have some luck working with the ruby gem 'PJAX'. Here is a screen cast showing you how to get that AJAX sidebar you want. Good luck
It sounds like you can just print the container element as normal, but leave it empty when the page is generated. Optionally, hide it via CSS. Then, when you load its content with AJAX, set it to visible or just populate it as normal.
Alternatively, if you really want to set it to the first item in the catalog (or in any ActiveRecord) you can use .first e.g. Products.first, and use that value to populate its initial contents.
I am new to MVC . I am creating a bookstore webpage application using aspx, and mvc. I have a database of books that says available or sold out. When a user clicks a dropdownlist they choose a book, it shows an image next to the book that is either supposed to show a green check mark if it is available or a red X if its not available. That information is all pulled from a database. My question is how do I change the image once a book becomes available. By the way my images are stored in my Content folder under imgs.
I have been searching for a while and haven't found a good answer. Any help or any websites you can suggest would be great thanks.
My image says this
<asp: Image ID = "Book_Availability" runat = "server" />
-----------Update----
When I mean change, I mean change the ImageURL so that it points to a different picture. On the server side I have value of 0 or 1. When I get a 1 i want to update the image URL to point to a different ImageURL from the controller, so that its from a X to a check mark. I am not sure how to accomplish this using MVC
Check out this link on Razor syntax. You could achieve what describe with something like:
#{
string availableImage = Url.Content("~/Images/availableImage");
string unavailableImage = Url.Content("~/Images/unavailableImage");
}
<img src= "#(Model.IsAvailable ? availableImage : unavailableImage)" alt="" />
You could perhaps add an click event handler onto the dropdown using jQuery. This could in turn do a $("#myimagewrapperexample").load() event against an action on some controller i.e BooksController
The action could return a partial view containing the books current image for example. Or it could return true, false depending on the books availability and you toggle the image in your javascript. All the action would need to be passed would be the id of the book and you could then look it up to determine it's status.
I've never used asp tags in a MVC project so can't comment on your usage there. AlexC suggestion of looking into the Razor syntax if your using MVC 3 is a good idea. Otherwise you might want to look into creating views using MVC 2. This Microsoft link might help you out on that front.
