Visual Studio ASP.NET MVC 5 is extremely slow - asp.net-mvc

I have read other articles about performance issues in VS especially Why VS 2013 is very slow, and have performed every advice in this article, but nothing has changed. My VS Studio is running quickly when I am developing a Windows Application. But when I am working on a Web MVC Solution, it is extremely slow. Even simple typing is performed with delay and not only debuging etc.
How can I solve this issue? I have done the following steps:
1. Disabled the plugins (Git...)
2. Cleaned the cache and temporary files
3. Disabled Codelens
4. Disabled synchronization over multiple machines
5. Disabled the hardware graphic accelerations
But nothing has changed and even if I create a new MVC solution, the problem exists and even typing is performed with delay.

I would suggest to check the /Log (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms241272.aspx) or check some tutorials (https://www.google.com/search?q=speed+up+visual+studio+2013). As a final resort you could try a fresh reinstall.

I have found the answer to this problem. You have to run the Update 4 RTM for VS 2013. After that the problem is solved.

Visual studio unable to evaluate anything in debug in any page of my blazor webassembly

I have a blazor webassembly app that is working fine and it is split in webassembly talking to a web api version all .Net Code
I use VS community Edition 2019 and suddenly after many modifications to my code I noticed that I am not able to debug and see any variable content(unable to Evaluate) at any break points anywhere in my web assembly app. I tried with an old version of my code which I know it was working then and same issue, so it is not the code.
I tried upgrading VS to 16.11.75.64347 ( from 16.6 something) without success and even uninstall & reinstall VS with no success.
The only new thing on my station was a windows update this week.
Is someone had something similar happening this week?
ps: What is weird is that I do not not have this problem in my web API solution portion just the webassembly solution.
I think I've been badluck to find many not working thread but finally it was simply to close VS . delete the .vs directory tehn relod the solution and it was OK. It is weird though that many old version of my code that never had this issue had the same problem. It was impossible to have all those .vs not working although I had not touched them in weeks. Anyway it is now working.

how to run SmartStore.NET in visual studio 2015?

how start smartstore.net in visual studio localhost without any error
i download github code and open project file from
SmartStoreNET-3.x\src\SmartStoreNET.sln
The download link https://github.com/smartstoreag/SmartStoreNET
I use visual studio 2015 enterprise edition and windows 10.
First, you must be change the "Solution Configuration" to Debug mode, and second change the "Solution Plataform" to Any CPU.
This work for me.
I recently went through this integration/configuration procedure trying to get a local instance of SmartStore.NET up and running with demo data. I was able to get there eventually, but the development environment setup was by far the most tricky.
I would suggest starting with these two links:
http://docs.smartstore.com/display/SMNET30/Installing+SmartStore.NET
http://docs.smartstore.com/display/SMNET30/How+to+build+SmartStore.NET
I have a hunch you're issue may be your development environment configuration is not fully correct. Check out this page for more details about requirements:
Technology and Prerequisites
http://docs.smartstore.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=35555597
*NOTE: they reference ASP.NET 4.5.1 but I had to use 4.61 to take advantage of some newer features in C# 7.0 - Tuples, and several others)
Probably the most significant discovery I found was their were dependency issues when trying to restore the NuGet packages referenced in the solution. I had to go through this process maybe 4 or 5 times to finally get the app running locally.
Once all of this was complete, getting it working in 2015 required little effort.
I would also suggest narrowing your question to more specific problems. (that's just me)

Created A New MVC Project In VS2015 And Intellisense Produces Error In Razor View

I just created a new web application (MVC 5.2.3) in Visual Studio 2015, and I regularly get errors like this on the HtmlHelpers:
I'm using .NET 4.6 (the default project was set to 4.5.2 originally, however I still had this issue with that default setting). I've looked at a bunch of similar questions on this site, and yet I haven't found a solution that consistently works. Any advice?
This sounds like a corrupted MEF cache to me. Different user, different MEF cache.
The PM of Razor Editing, Mads Kristensen, wrote an extension to make clearing the MEF cache simple. Try this: Clear MEF Component Cache.
You'll just have to restart VS after clearing; rebuilding the cache takes seconds, not minutes.
Please let us know if this solves the problem for you.

Can't Access Admin CP on nopCommerce v2.60

I have gone here on CodePlex and downloaded nopCommerce v2.60. I am on a Windows 8 Pro 64x Machine, I have .NET Framework and SQLEXPRESS 2012 installed.
The nopCommerce solution installs perfectly fine, no problem ! All front-end stuff work fine. But when I try and access:
localhost:xxxx/admin
I get the following error:
I have already tried re-installing with fresh database and files, but no success. I don't know how to get it to work. Before this use to work no problems at all!
You need to BUILD the whole solution before running. :)
Ok after an exchange of emails with a friend of mine who is really good at C# and has excellent experience with nopCommerce. He too was able to duplicate the problem on his machine running Win 8 Pro 64x along with VS 2012, like me.
It turned out, for some strange reason, one must build, and re-build the solution a couple of times before running it in VS 2012.
So open up your nopCommerce fresh in VS2012, and before you run it, re-build the solution 2 or 3 times, and then run it.
That was the fix for me. So annoying that I spent so much time stuck with it, but I'm glad it works now.

Copy and paste Razor markup in Visual Studio 2010 SP1 is extremely slow

Any time I try to paste anything in a CSHTML file that contains Razor markup or targets a line inside a code block - the entire Visual Studio freezes for almost a minute.
I've applied SP1 for Visual Studio. I'm using ASP.NET MVC 3.
I also only have this problem on a single computer so I'm guessing there's some sort of application or version mismatch I'm simply not seeing. I'm running ReSharper and upgraded it to 6.0 to no avail (though the Razor code inspection works and is really nice).
It's only if I paste a line containing Razor markup that the issue occur. I get no errors on the copy operation, and if I'm pasting regular HTML without Razor markup or outside code blocks in the very same file there're no issues whatsoever. No problems pasting in any other kinds of files like .cs or .aspx. Freshly created MVC 3 projects suffer as well as existing old projects.
I resolved this a while ago but I don't recall exactly which component was the issue - but it was either SP1 for Visual Studio that was in fact not RTM (though it wasn't obvious when looking at the about dialog hence the difficulty in figuring out) or, more likely according to my memory, a pre-RTM version of MVC 3 installed, also not obvious at all when looking through the installed components list.
It took some manual work to get all the related components uninstalled, including some registry hacks, before reinstalling the RTM version and then the problem disappeared. I did not have to reinstall Visual Studio or any of my addons.
Hope this helps someone with similar problems, carefully investigate the exact build numbers of the suspected components. They may in fact be pre-RTM :9
Have you tried to reset the Visual Studio settings? I can't promise this will help but I think it would be worth a try (devenv.exe /ResetSettings). If that doesn't help, I think you will have to re-install Visual Studio.
