Can Hybrid apps access other apps on the device? - hybrid-mobile-app

Is it anyway possible for Hybrid apps to read other apps data like SMS and mails. Like how google shows all imp mail and SMS data on their mobile (android) home page. Like Hotel Reservation details, Ticket details etc....
guidelines or tutorial links are much appreciated

Application data is stored in a sandbox that is accessible only by the specific application.
It is therefore not allowed/possible for applications to access sandboxes of other applications.

App store reviewing of restricted apps - iOS

I have an application that needs to be activated with a code that sends by SMS, but my SMS provider does not support sending messages to the US, so the application cannot be activated and nobody cannot pass this step. What can I do for this issue?
Simple solution to your question,
In your iTune account of this app, select countries only that you want for your app.
As you said, your SMS provider does not support message for US. It means you have not developed, your app for US country/users. Right?
So select countries only, for whom/those you've created this app (your SMS service provider provides services)
Why not changing your SMS provider first ? I've seen several other one that support sending messages everywhere.

Apple developers rejected- subscriptions to be used in the app - Business - 3.1.1

Apple developers rejected my app with this reason.
"Business - 3.1.1
Your app includes an account registration feature, which is considered an access to external mechanisms for purchases or subscriptions to be used in the app.
This feature does not comply with the App Store Review Guidelines.
Next Steps
Please remove the account registration links and any other fully qualified links to your site that could indirectly provide access to these mechanisms, such as links to web pages for support, FAQ, product or program details, etc."
The users can use the app in demo mode (without registration) with some restrictions, but if they register they can use without registrations.
The registration is not in webview. The client sends the user's datas to server.
Can someone help me?
You basically have two ways to solve the problem.
1) Sell the subscription etc. only through the App Store in the app (similar to Dropbox/Office etc.), i.e. there should be no links to your website, where your users have/can insert payment information. Look at the mentioned examples, how they solve this.
2) Only sell the subscription/services via the web, but never ever link to these pages via your app (similar to Kindle app, partially Spotify).
Your app must still be somehow (open for interpretation) functional for users without a subscription / registration.
The main issue Apple has, is that it's possible to circumvent the store and Apple's 30% cut. Just make sure that users are not able to purchase any digital products & services
Apps may not include buttons, external links, or other calls to action that direct customers to purchasing mechanisms other than IAP.

Yes, You can submit app again but you have to implement one small feature like as guest user login.
In this You will implement one UIButton it's should say "Go without login". Implement this small functionality in your app. Create one user as guest.
When user hit "Go without login" you will pass your static user id and login in the app.
I have same problem. I am create a this solution and it's work

App store guidelines - Can I take users phone contacts and store them on a web server?

I've checked the offical apply guidelines for app reviews but could get an answer. I'm developing an app that will take users phone contacts and store them on my server. These contacts will then be visible to certain other app users. Assuming that I alert the users that their contacts are being stored and will be visible to some other users, will this be a problem? Are apple likely to reject this?
there is no objection for the same from apple.
the main thing that apple may prompt about is the app user should be aware of the fact that your app will do something like this (storing user's contacts on server)
there are some popular apps that are already doing the same like TrueCaller but the app user knows that this is going to happen if he uses the app so no issues...!
I hope this helps.

Amazon in-app purchasing on iOS

I'm building a small app where users can browse cheap accessories like lipstick, nail polish, etc. I have Login With Amazon (http://login.amazon.com/) implemented because I originally thought that I could allow users to buy the accessories directly from my app.
But I soon realized that Apple has actually restricted that functionality. The purchase ability is available on Android and for web developers, but unfortunately not yet for iOS.
Is there some hacky way that I can allow users to make a purchase from my app (or from a web view in my app)? I have a little bit of experience with Python so I'm guessing there might be a way to write a script that presses different buttons on the Amazon web page in a web view in my app. The user is already logged in with Amazon.
You can use Shopelia SDK which enables in-app purchase of physical goods using one click payment. It is available for Amazon but also for any kind of retailers.
It works using a combinaison of automation and monetics to inject the order and process the payment.
Right now (October 2013), the product is in beta stage and can be demonstrated on Shopelia website http://www.shopelia.com
Integration is available through SDK for Android and iOS.
Disclaimer : I'm co-founder of Shopelia. Please contact me if you are interested to integrate the technology in your app.

Is it possible to be a Canvas App and also an iPhone app?

According to the Facebook documentation, you need to be a Canvas app in order to perform Requests and access other nifty features. But Facebook requires that you use Facebook Credits to be a Canvas App. This seems to be in conflict with Apple's App Store, since in-app purchases would use Apple's payment methods and not Facebook Credits.
Does anyone know how to resolve payments in this situation between Apple and Facebook?
Do either company allow developers to use the other's payment method?
Do things change if you are an HTML5 hybrid app rather than a native app?
Thanks!
When the user visits your app via canvas (whether on the web or on the "mobile web" in a mobile web browser) all payments should be handled using Facebook Credits. When the user is accessing your app through its native iOS application, payments should be handled using Apple's payments system.
According to Facebook you have to use iTunes payments instead of Facebook Credits in a native iOS app.
