In fb-sdk 3.x. I was able to get request id after user has sent requests to their friends(usingFBWebDialogs) this way I could show in my app that user has invited friends which improved user experience because user got confirmation that invites were sent.
Now with fb-sdk 4.0(using FBSDKAppInviteDialog) I don't receive any data which would enable me to show invited friends.
Do you have any suggestions how to get list of invited friends?
There is no way to get list of invited friends.
The issue was discussed with Facebook engineer Emil Hesslow at Facebook Developer Community group. Here is relevant part of one of his comments:
And if they expect their friends to show up in the app it is just
because it was working like that before. Not because everyone always
assumes that will happen if you invite someone.
And no you can't get who they invited

As the title suggests, I have implemented Sign in with Apple. After submitting my app online, I found that I can not get the user's email while I can get the username.
I collect the username and email and I found I can not get user email sometimes when the user first authorizes my app. Any reply appreciated!!!
The section Send Information to Your App Servers on the Apple Developer website states that this information is only returned to you the first time the user authenticates with Apple Sign In. You will need to store those details yourself in order to retrieve them again on subsequent logins.
I have an iOS app which posts to Facebook on behalf of the user logged in through the iOS Facebook setting.
Two problems -
the posts are marked private, the users friends don't see them.
The iOS app want to be able to harvest Like and Comment info but I get back a 400 from FB.
Here's the wrinkle, my Facebook account works perfectly (posts are visible to friends and I can get the Like and Comment info), but a test user account will post only as private and the iOS app gets a 400 when trying to get post info.
The attached screen shots show the different permissions (top for tester, bottom for me) but I can figure out what to ask Facebook for at login to get the same permissions for both users. Currently I'm asking for publish_actions and user_status.
Any help would be much appreciated!
You need to make sure you are asking for public_profile also you need to make sure you split your permission access into two pieces, as per FB, 1) read 2) write
Just follow the login process on the Facebook Dev page, this will allow you to outline your permissions the right way. Also make sure your test user is added into the groups on your Facebook Dev portal.
Also can you provide any code of what you have tried?
Turns out the post_id element was not what I wanted but rather the id. After that I could use json to get the comments and likes. So the call was almost correct.
And adding stream_read to the permissions got the post to be visible to friends...
Thanks for all the help!
The new Facebook developer integration should be really handy and easy, but i'm struggling with creating a test user or a regular Facebook user to get permissions to sign in my app.
I opened a "TestApp", and login in as a "Admin" works great!
The problem is adding more Facebook accounts and test users.
When i tried to add a Facebook account to "Testers" section, i get this (pending) message next to the persons name, and can not log in the app using Facebook with that user!
Same issue with adding a "Admin" to the app:
After this didn't work, i figured if i create a "TestUser" maybe i'll have better luck, but the test user does not show up when i'm trying to add him to the "Role".
Any one that can make this clear to me a-bit more will be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Found the answer, its a bit silly but if anyone else gets the same issue...
After you add a new user to the "Testers" he gets a notification that he must accept, so the "Pending" will go away, and the user will be activated.
This notification does not get to the Facebook home page, only to the "Developer section" of that user. As #rmp251 mentioned, that can be found on this page
Thanks for the help.
I just want to add few details on the answer but I cannot comment.
The test user need to register as Facebook developer (if he not reregistered already)
Link: https://developers.facebook.com/async/registration/
After that he need to approve the request from the app
Then he need to approve the request at this link
Link: https://developers.facebook.com/requests/
I was trying to add an administrator to a Page owned by a Gray account. The invitee would see a notification appear briefly, but it would vanish as soon as they clicked on the Notifications button, and would not show up in their list of notifications.
Workaround: The invitee can go here to see and accept the invite: https://www.facebook.com/pages/?category=invites
In case anyone is trying to add Instagram Test Users, there's also no documentation on where this "pending " request goes.
Log into the invited Instagram account in a web browser. Go to https://www.instagram.com/accounts/manage_access/. Click "Test Invites".
Log in from desktop to your instagram tester account. Press MORE then SETTING, then APPS AND WEBSITES and then you'll have a 4th tab TESTER. Also you have to add tester the instagram account that you want to display.
I'm developing a personal project in which many users join a certain project and are able to view the information on it. Besides that, I'd like to be able that a user could tweet to the other users, warning he is online.
E.g.: user1, user2 and user3 share a project. If user1 is online, but user2 and user3 aren't, user1 would then click a button that would send a tweet (e.g., "#user2twitteraccount User1 is online!") to user2 and user3. The tweet sender would be an account of the website, not user1's Twitter account.
Is that possible to be done? 'Cause, from what I've seen so far, there are two options that are mainly used:
1) The "share button" option (Requires authentication): there is a share button, which sends a tweet on the user's timeline. It prompts a screen so the user can write whatever he want to tweet.
2) The "authorization-required" option (Requires authentication and application authorization): an application tweets on behalf of the user on his timeline.
Besides the things that I have stated, the main thing that bothers me about these options is that they tweet on behalf of the user on his account. As I am looking for a solution on which, instead of using the user's Twitter, the user would tweet throughout my site's Twitter, they doesn't work for me.
Am I missing to see something quite obvious in here, or what I want to achieve isn't quite usual? Do you know any ways that I could achieve this solution? Thanks.
I believe your best bet would be to use the Twitter web intents
You could then tweet to #user2 and #user3 from the account of #user1 adding a via #appname to the tweet text.
NOTE: #appname should be the twitter account of your app.
If this is unsatisfactory, then you should do what sarnold says as that would be the best option
(Only suggested the intents thing because you want to avoid requesting authorization)
You'll want to use the REST API.
Register your application and then POST tweets as you want to send new messages.

How to post twit msg in twitter and facebook without account ,
You can't. You need an account to post on both Facebook and Twitter; anonymous posts are not allowed or even possible.
One suggestion might be to post these comments from your account saying a customer said X. But of course this has nothing to do with programming...
Posting onto Facebook and Twitter without accounts is not possible.
