iOS Obj-C - UITableView data disappears when modal view dismissed

I have a uitableview inside of a view controller, and a button underneath of my uitableview. Tapping this button opens a modal view. I've created a "close" button inside my modal using the following code:

The problem is probably in your viewDidAppear, try replace:
[self.tableView setContentOffset:CGPointMake(0, CGFLOAT_MAX)];
with:
[self.tableView scrollToRowAtIndexPath:[NSIndexPath indexPathForRow:[self.messages count]-1 inSection:0] atScrollPosition:UITableViewScrollPositionBottom animated:YES];
or properly calculate the height, probably it's:
self.tableView.contentView.height

Objective-C: Change UIImageView in Custom Cell change different cell images

I am using a custom cell on UITableView with multi Section and i’m added a UITapGestureRecognizer to a UIImageView for change it when the image is selected but When I select the image other's images in different cell are selected as well.

While declaring the UITapGestureRecognizer on particular cell assign the tag as

Retain UITableView cell state when UISearchBar is used

I am using UISearchBar to search names in UITableView cells. How to retain the cell state when charachters are entered in UISearchBar?
I allocated the checkbox in cellForRowAtIndexPath and suppose I made the selection as shown in the screenshot below.
Now if I start searching with letter 'S', checkBox state is 'unchecked' as can be seen below.
How do I retain the checkBox state even if the cells are "filtered" while searching. I am aware that
cellForRowAtIndexPath is invoked every time when we enter text in UISearchBar.

I am getting the following error when I start scrolling the table view.

Don't autorelease the switches when you alloc them. After those lines you don't own any of those objects.

Release them in the dealloc method
