Icons for iOS Action Extensions Disappearing After Share Button Menu Disappears - ios

I've been working on a couple of iOS action extensions for a while, but I have noticed an odd behavior I was wondering if anyone else saw. In short, after you install and turn the extension on from the share button menu and leave the menu, it disappears from the menu.
More specifically, when you first install the extension, you expect you have to press the share button, scroll the bottom bar menu (for the action extensions) all the way to the right, press the "More" button, toggle your extension on and then press done. At that point the icon for the extension will appear and you can use it. However, the next time you want to use the action extension, the icon will not appear and you have to repeat the process, even though when you look in the "More" menu, the toggle switches for your app are already flipped on.
I wish I could add images to further elaborate here, but I can't because of StackOverflow's rules.
I have not been able to find any information on this any where, so I was hoping someone here has noticed this behavior or not. Any help on resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

This has been a bug in iOS 8.3, and has been acknowledged by Apple.
Fixed in iOS 9.
Issue on OpenRadar
How to solve:
The new share extension is NOT visible in the default list, and is CHECKED in the “More…” list. Changing any of the switches and tapping Done will show the new share extension in the default list.

IOS native controls invisible/hidden in PWA

We have a PWA (web app) that the user can add to the homescreen to make it look more like an app. Some users have reported a strange issue that only seems to appear on IOS sometimes when the following step has been made.
Open the app from the homescreen
Use the app for a while
Put it into background
Turn off the screen for a while
Turn the screen back on and put the app to foreground again
The bug is that nothing seems to happen when you click on a select or date input control. First I thought that there was some overlay in the app that was blocking the ui controls but the elements receive focus on click, but not options are shown.
Now it really becomes strange. When I tried to click a little bit under the select input an option was selected. The same thing occured with a time select. If I first clicked on the timeselect input control and then a little bit under, it updated the time.
So, the controls seems to be there but nothing is visible on the screen. I have only been able to reproduce this on my own once but multiple users have been reporting the same thing. The only way to work around the bug is to restart the app.
It seems to be for all native safari controls that shows some kind of modal/popover.
I've did an indepth investigation on this select dropdown problem and posted an issue at bugs.webkit.org: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=238318
It's a problem with dropdowns of several components (such as select, input file/date/month) where either the animation to have the dropdown appear or disappear seems to get stuck. You can sometimes see the dropdown being tiny and very transparent (if you zoom into a screenshot) and sometimes you'll be able to select an option even though you don't see the dropdown.

Apple Watch Force Touch Menu

I just recently noticed it is possible to add a force touch gesture to my watch app. I've added a Menu and 3 Menu items... as seen here:
Although, when I force touch, the menu does not come up.
Do I need to do something else to get this thing working?
Tutorials suggest I do not. Thus, I turn to stackoverflow.
By default, each menu item's image is set to Custom in the attributes inspector, and without an image asset selected here a menu item won't appear at all upon a firm press. You'll have to choose one of the images that Apple provides in the attributes inspector Image dropdown menu or provide your own asset where it says No Image right below.

IOS - Firebase Dynamic Link Opens the app but shows text buttons on STATUS BAR

Problem 1: So I am using the Firebase dynamiclink and works fine. My problem is I want to hide the textButton on my status bar (DONOT WANT TO HIDE THE WHOLE STATUS BAR, the buttons) whenever the app opens on dynamic links. See photo.
Problem 2: I accidentally tapped the goo.gl above and now the app is not opening on the dynamic link. It goes to safari instead. how to bring it back to normal?
Problem 1: I do not believe this is possible. It would be great if so, but as far as I know it is enforced by iOS.
Problem 2: paste the URL into the Notes app, long-press on it, and select Open in [App]

Firemonkey embedded ios web browser displays "done" bar issue

I have an interesting issue with an IOS app, 32bit at present.
I have a simple project with one form, a button and a TWebBrowser component. The "onclick" of the button sets the align property of the twebbrowser to client and opens a webpage (www.trademe.co.nz for testing).
Every thing works ok until I go to use the virtual keyboard (e.g. enter a search). When the virtual keyboard appears I am getting a second "done" button bar appearing above (and behind?) the main one. The main "done" bar includes next and previous buttons, whereas the background one doesn't. It appears that there are two keyboards appearing. I have the issue on both my test phones, one running IOS7 and the other running IOS6 and I believe it is also happening under IOS8.
Does anyone have any idea what causes this?
TIA

Cannot enable iOS8 Custom Keyboard

I'm trying to design a custom keyboard for iOS 8. Here are my development steps:
1. Created new project (Single view)
2. Created a new target: File > New > Target, and in the iOS template group chose the Custom Keyboard template.
Then I tried to enable the keyboard based on the documentation steps, which are:
1. Run the app
2. In iOS Simulator, press home button (Command+Shift+H)
3. Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards.
4. Tap Add New Keyboard.
5. In the Purchased Keyboards group, tap the name of your new keyboard. A modal view appears with a switch to enable your keyboard.
6. Tap the switch to enable your keyboard. A warning alert appears.
7. In the warning alert, tap Add Keyboard to finish enabling your new keyboard. Then tap Done.
My problem is in step 5. The modal view does not show a switch to activate the keyboard, it shows an empty view like bellow:
I clicked on Done button and it shows my Custom keyboard in activated list:
But when I want to use this keyboard, for example in spotlight, it won't show my keyboard
Clicking the done button will activate the keyboard. There are some definite bugs in those menus.
To change keyboards, you can also try just tapping on the button to change keyboard, rather than holding it like you were in the last screenshot.
Also, it looks like you have the language for that keyboard set as persian, and my guess would be that it is not appearing because your system language is not persian (or the text field you are typing in doesn't support persian).
I wouldn't be surprised if there are other bugs in the simulator that would affect this. I'm glad to hear you were able to get it working.
After you click done, it should install the keyboard, even if you don't see the list in the settings table.
About the keyboard not showing up - you need to kill the app before running a new keyboard. it's a known issue on the simulator.
good luck!
