Im trying to setup jenkins in my company and Ive got some problems.
Im using this commands to build the project:

It works fine when i type this in cmd but. I gave administrive privileges to jenkins service. When I try to build project with jenkins i receive error like this:
F1026: File not found: 'ADSI.dcu
this is a component for Delphi and i have this component on second partition. Jenkins has access for many components on this partition but not for this one.
The difference between the two will be your current directory.
Jenkins will start you off in a specific working folder for the job (possibly C:\Users\<User-ID>\.jenkins\jobs\<Job-Name>\workspace).
Add the following to your Jenkins commands to see where you're doing the build from:
echo Current Folder: %cd%
A simple "solution" would be to just add a command in Jenkins to change directory to the same folder you're in when you test from the command-line.
However, I suggest you rather do the following:
Ensure Jenkins gets the latest source from your source repository into its working folder. (There are various plugins depending on what particular tool you use.)
Ensure you cd (change directory) to the correct folder within the workspace folder.

When I run my tests in my local machine, report file is always created/overwritten in: C:\Temp\myLocalFolder\target\site\serenity\index.html
But when I run my tests using Jenkins(localhost:8080), report file is Not being generated in: C:\Users\me\.jenkins\workspace\myJenkinsFolder\target\site\serenity
In Jenkins, I've already added the Thucydides plugin, added it in Post-Build Actions, and set Report Path to target/site/serenity. I tried copying the index.html from my local folder to the jenkins folder, and after running I can view the same report. However I want it to be overwritten by the latest run on Jenkins. Any ideas?
Apprarently I just had to set Report Path in Jenkins to the same directory as my local folder (C:\Temp\myLocalFolder\target\site\serenity\index.html). I'm not sure if that's the correct approach. It won't work if I run from my online github repository. I will try that one next.
New to Jenkins so apologise in advance as I'm sure this answer is out there somewhere. Just not sure exactly how to search for what I'm after. I'm struggling a bit with the copyback process in Jenkins.
When I build, I'm running some unit tests that create some log files which I want to be stored as part of the Jenkins build. I'm running on Windows 10 and everything is running on my laptop (I'm purely trying to learn Jenkins so this is fine for me).
So my test results will always appear in C:\TestLogs\*.log. I want the results copied to my build directory which is URL: http://localhost:8080/job/loadrunner_test/1/ absolute: C:\Program Files (x86)\Jenkins\jobs\loadrunner_test\builds\1
I'm a bit confused with which plugin I should use in my post build step? Copy Artifact plugin looks as if it's meant to pass data between builds. For each build, I just want to copy C:\TestLogs*.* to the current build directory so I can see them when I click on the link for #1 in the Build History.

You can copy it with additional step.
Select Execute Windows batch command for that step and add this line:
xcopy C:\TestLogs C:\Program Files (x86)\Jenkins\jobs\jenkins_test\builds\%BUILD_NUMBER% /s /e
You can also check configuration for your test if you can set path location.
I would like to create a TFS 2013 build definition, which builds a SQL project and outputs the complete CREATE DATABASE script to the bin folder.
When I compile my project on the local machine, the SQL script is output to the bin[configuration] folder correctly as per the database project settings.
However when I build the same project using TFS build automation, the build succeeds but no bin folder is created and no sql script is output.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Additionally, when the script is output locally, the paths are blank:
:setvar DefaultDataPath ""
:setvar DefaultLogPath ""
Any idea how I can populate these for SQL Server 2008 r2 defaults?

Actually, if I set the build to target only the .sqlproj file, then the bin is output correctly. The problem comes when the sqlproj is built as part of a solution with other projects.
The build agent does not create individual bin folders in the src working directory; only the start-up project's output is produced and copied to the final bin folder.
I would like the build to generate the sql script and copy it to the output folder along with the other project outputs.
Is this possible?
I ended up going with a workaround based upon This Answer.
If I build the database project as part of the solution, the script does end up in the drop folder, just not the build agent's working folder.
Using:
<CommentOutSetVarDeclarations>True</CommentOutSetVarDeclarations>
in the publish profile allows me to set the default path etc. from the command prompt which was an acceptable alternative in my case.
I have set up a jenkins build and everything is working fine except the very last step.
The whole build creates a directory called: build
This directory contains a web-inf and all the files in it I would like to publish via SCP to a different location, so that all the content of the build/web-inf folder will become the content of the target folder.
The settings for jenkins scp plugin are (it is a post-build step):
source: build/web-inf/**
destination: public_html/
that results in:
public_html/build/web-inf/...
but should be:
public_html/...
(the keep hierarchy box is ticked)
how can I make that happen??

I could solve the problem without any additional script. The solution is so simple that my question turned out to be stupid.
All I did was telling ant to copy all the webfiles to ./public_html instead of ./build/web-inf/ what made the jenkins scp copy all files from public_html to public_html exactly as it was intended to.
If your goal is just to SCP files generated during the build, and the plugin doesn't seem to be working (I couldn't see anything wrong in your configuration) you can use an "Execute shell" build step and type the scp command something like (try it in a shell first in your job's build directory to get the syntax right):
scp -r build/web-inf/* user#host:/destination-directory
I am new to Jenkins and just started configuring it. This is what i have done till now:
Installed and configured Jenkins to display the home page. Added PMD plugin.
Set the HUDSON_HOME to a specific directory > C:\Work\Jenkins
Configured a test build to run a simple do-nothing ant script. It runs successfully
Written an independent pmdbuild.xml to run checks on a set of files in C:\myview (I am using clearcase). This xml also copies the output pmd_results.xml to the workspace directory in $HUDSON_HOME/[job-name]/workspace
Now I added the pmdbuild.xml as a step in my primary build. So my build has 2 steps:
a. Run a simple script, do-nothing.
b. Run pmdbuild.xml which generate pmd_results.xml and place it in $HUDSON_HOME/[job-name]/workspace (HARD-CODED as Jenkins PMD plugin expects the file there)
Jenkins picks up the pmd_results.xml automatically with the plugin and displays warnings and everything.
Now the problem:
If I click on a filename in the PMD results, it gives a filenotfound exception as it is looking for the source file in $HUDSON_HOME/[job-name]/workspace.
My java code files are placed in C:\myview (a clearcase snapshot view)
My question is, do I need all my code files to be present inside $HUDSON_HOME/[job-name]/workspace ?? Meaning can't I tell Jenkins to look for the PMD input files in C:\myview or any other directory instead of $HUDSON_HOME/[job-name]/workspace ??

Jenkins expects that all the code is in the workspace. Usually Jenkins is used to check out a copy of the code into the workspace, and then runs all build steps on the Sources in the Workspace.
Might seem restraining at first, but it saves you a lot of trouble if you need to move Jenkins to another server, or create a slave instance.
So I would suggest you let Jenkins check out your code (there should be a clearcase plugin) into the workspace, and run the analysis on the checked out code.
If there are compelling reasons why your code has to stay where it is (C:\myview in your case) you can still set the workspace of your build to that directory (find this in the job configuration page, you need to click on the 'extended' button to see the option).
