Q: How to open pdf files with siri?

I want siri to open pdf files that are stored into an app.
Is there a way to do this?
Siri -> open pdf file xyz
Thanks
First you need to write an app to render pdfs. Then you need add Document extension to that app to handle opening pdfs. Then you need to add siri extension to handle voice commands.

Its possible to upload a Pdf or documents file in DropBox with the using UIActivityViewController ?

Its possible to upload a Pdf or documents file in DropBox with the using UIActivityViewController like WhatsApp to file sharing ?
All you have to do is download the Dropbox app and make sure it's in the list of share options. I can't say if I know it's like WhatsApp, but that's how I share to Dropbox.

In Rails, how to create a button that when clicked download (not open) a movie stored in S3

I'm having a hard time trying to figure this out.
I have a button_to that should download a .mp4 movie that is stored on S3 when clicked. Since the audience is very basic, I need that when they click the button the download start right away. No right-click and Save As, just a button to send the file as download instead of open it on the browser.
I tried using send_file only to realize that it works for local files.
Any idea how to do this?
Just solved it using a link_to instead and link directly to the S3 file. Amazon automatically send the file to download instead of open in on the browser. Easier than I thought.
I would recommend just making it be a YouTube video. If you need privacy, make it an unlisted YouTube video.
If that is not an option, you should try to configure S3 to serve the following http header when delivering the file:
Content-Disposition: attachment

URL scheme to open Videos from a browser on iPad

I can create an link to an iBooks document using the "itms-books://book-name" URL scheme, use that link in an html anchor tag accessible via a browser. When I click the link, it launches iBooks and opens the document.
How can I create a similar link to launch the Videos app to play a specific video in my local library? I've seen discussions about getting an asset URL from within another app, but I need something I can access via html in a browser.
There is videos:// which open the Videos Application, but I yet don't know how to use it. If I ever find something, I will let you know.
