jquery datepicker not working for dynamic rows - jquery-ui

I looked at many solutions, but this did not help.
I am a newbie to JQuery.
I want to bind a date picker to the newly added row in a table.
The script file is as follows.
$('a.add-passenger').click(function(event){
event.preventDefault();
counter++;
var newRow =
'<tr>' +
'<td><input type="text" name="Name' + counter + '"/></td>' +
'<td><input type="text" name="DOB' + counter + '"/></td>' +
'<td><input type="text" name="PassNum' + counter + '"/></td>' +
'<td><input type="text" name="PassExpiry' + counter + '"/></td>' +
'<td><input type="text" name="Destination' + counter + '"/></td>' +
'<td><input type="text" name="DepDate' + counter + '"/></td>' +
'<td><input type="text" name="ArrDate' + counter + '"/></td>' +
'<td><a class="remove">remove</a></td>'
'</tr>';
$table.append(newRow);
$( "DOB" ).datepicker( "destroy" );
$("#DOB").datepicker({
changeMonth: true,
changeYear: true
});
$("#ArrDate").datepicker({
minDate: 0,
maxDate:"+60D",
numberOfMonths: 2,
onSelect: function(selected) {
$("#DepDate").datepicker("option","maxDate", selected)
}
});
$("#DepDate").datepicker({
minDate: 0,
maxDate: "+60D",
numberOfMonths: 2,
onSelect: function(selected) {
$("#ArrDate").datepicker("option","minDate", selected)
}
});
});
However, when the row is added, only the first row has the date pickers and not the other rows.
There are different date pickers and hence I cannot use a class for date pickers.

Url against jQuery ui autocomplete selected value

$( function() {
function log( message ) {
$( "<div>" ).text( message ).prependTo( "#log" );
$( "#log" ).scrollTop( 0 );
}
$( "#searchcomplete" ).autocomplete({
source: "<?php echo base_url('home/search');?>",
minLength: 2,
select: function( event, ui ) {
log( "Selected: " + ui.item.value + " aka " + ui.item.id );
}
});
} );
I don't know how to set a url against the user's selected id in this widget. What i want here is when user select any option from dropdown and click on it then page will be redirected to url against that selected id.
I solved it using form.
<form id="tpsearch" action="" method="post">
<input type="text" id="searchcomplete">
<button type="submit" class="icon-search"></button>
</form>
and select function will be from autocomplete:
select: function( event, ui ) {
log( "Selected: " + ui.item.value + " aka " + ui.item.id );
$("#tpsearch").attr("action", "<?php echo base_url(); ?>/controller/action/" + ui.item.id);
}

Handles blocking each other in JQuery UI range slider

I am playing around with the jQuery UI slider and found two examples that look very similar to me.
However, the first slider allows for a handle to be dragged to the other side other handle, whereas the in the second slider, the handles seem to be blocking each other (i.e. you cannot drag the left handle to the right side of the right handle and vice versa).
Can somebody explain to me, why this is happening ?
Here is the fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/w4gy8p1v/1/
Code for slider:
$(document).ready(function() {
$("#slider").slider({
min: 0,
max: 100,
step: 1,
values: [10, 90],
slide: function(event, ui) {
for (var i = 0; i < ui.values.length; ++i) {
$("input.sliderValue[data-index=" + i + "]").val(ui.values[i]);
}
}
});
$("input.sliderValue").change(function() {
var $this = $(this);
$("#slider").slider("values", $this.data("index"), $this.val());
});
});
<form>
<div>
<input type="text" class="sliderValue" data-index="0" value="10" />
<input type="text" class="sliderValue" data-index="1" value="90" />
</div>
<br />
<div id="slider"></div>
</form>
Code for second slider:
$(function() {
$( "#slider-range" ).slider({
range: true,
min: 0,
max: 500,
values: [ 75, 300 ],
slide: function( event, ui ) {
$( "#amount" ).val( "$" + ui.values[ 0 ] + " - $" + ui.values[ 1 ] );
}
});
$( "#amount" ).val( "$" + $( "#slider-range" ).slider( "values", 0 ) +
" - $" + $( "#slider-range" ).slider( "values", 1 ) );
});
<p>
<label for="amount">Price range:</label>
<input type="text" id="amount" readonly style="border:0; color:#f6931f; font-weight:bold;">
</p>
<div id="slider-range"></div>
The difference comes from the range option (range: true).
When the range option is true, the slider handles can't cross.

Uncaught TypeError: Property 'min' of object #<Object> is not a function

I'm trying to make use of the knockout slider binderhalders that RP Niemeyer has posted a few times. Unfortunately while trying to use it I receive the error within the title.
(function($){
ko.bindingHandlers.slider = {
init: function (element, valueAccessor, allBindingsAccessor) {
var options = allBindingsAccessor().sliderOptions || {};
var sliderValues = ko.utils.unwrapObservable(valueAccessor());
if(sliderValues.min !== undefined) {
options.range = true;
}
options.slide = function(e, ui) {
if(sliderValues.min) {
// Errors here
sliderValues.min(ui.values[0]);
sliderValues.max(ui.values[1]);
} else {
sliderValues.value(ui.value);
}
};
ko.utils.domNodeDisposal.addDisposeCallback(element, function () {
$(element).slider("destroy");
});
$(element).slider(options);
},
update: function (element, valueAccessor) {
var sliderValues = ko.toJS(valueAccessor());
if(sliderValues.min !== undefined) {
$(element).slider("values", [sliderValues.min, sliderValues.max]);
} else {
$(element).slider("value", sliderValues.value);
}
}
};
this.range = {
'cook': function(kitchen, name, label, recipe){
var food = new this.viewModel(kitchen);
food.name = name;
food.label = label;
food.total(recipe.numberOfResults);
food.criteriaMin = recipe.minValue;
food.criteriaMax = recipe.maxValue;
return food;
},
'viewModel': function(kitchen){
var self = this;
this.name = '';
this.label = '';
this.total = window.ko.observable();
this.criteriaMin = ko.observable(0);
this.criteriaMax = ko.observable(100);
this.loading = window.ko.observable(false);
this.template = '';
this.getSelection = function(){
return null;
};
this.setSelection = function(){
};
},
'template': '<th class="idc-td-criteria" scope="row" data-bind="text:label"></th>' +
'<td class="idc-td-value idc-td-slider">' +
' <label for="AmountMin" class="hiddenText">Amount Min</label>' +
' <input type="text" data-default="0" data-maxdecimal="2" class="idc-textinput idc-sliderinput" maxlength="6" data-bind="value: criteriaMin || \'0.00\'">' +
' <span class="slider" data-bind="slider: { min: criteriaMin, max: criteriaMax }, sliderOptions: {min: 0, max: 100, step: 1}"></span>' +
' <label for="AmountMax" class="hiddenText">Amount Max</label>' +
' <input type="text" data-default="10" data-maxdecimal="2" class="idc-textinput idc-sliderinput" maxlength="6" data-bind="value: criteriaMax || \'10.00\'">' +
'</td>' +
'<td class="idc-td-results" data-bind="text:total"></td>' +
'<td class="idc-td-remove">' +
' <a href="#">' +
' <img src="images/column_delete.png" alt="Delete criteria [criteria name]" role="button" />' +
' </a>' +
'</td>'
};
}).call(window.idmsScreener.chefs, jQuery);
I've tried to change it from sliderValues.min() to sliderValues.min = ui.values[0]; However by changing that I can't seem to get the values back correctly. I also tried changing the min and max values of the slider options so that they are not statically set but that throws a completely different error. Any help on solving this would be greatly appreciated.
Was able to resolve this. Determined that I was setting my min and max criteria in correctly. I was doing assignment using an equals sign which was overriding the observable.

jQuery UI Tabs in Google Map InfoBox

I'm having a bit of a problem with putting a jQuery UI tab menu inside a Google Map InfoWindow.
The infowindows are created from a Fusion Table which is layered on the base map. I've got an example using the Maps infowindows that works perfectly (still has styling to be done and the data is incomplete, though)
However, the infowindows are a bit too restrictive and I need more flexibility in styling, so I switched over to using InfoBox.js. Thankfully, it fits in pretty well, and all I had to do was change a few selectors so it all matched up. The boxes work perfectly BUT the jquery tabs now don't work at all. The class attributes that should be created in the HTML, aren't.
Here's the original script using infowindows:
<link type="text/css" href="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.8.12/themes/base/jquery-ui.css" rel="stylesheet" />
<script src="http://www.google.com/jsapi"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
google.load('maps', '3', {other_params:'sensor=false'});
google.load('jquery', '1');
google.load("jqueryui", "1");
</script>
<script type="text/javascript">
function initialize() {
var map = new google.maps.Map(document.getElementById('map-canvas'), {
zoom: 7,
center: new google.maps.LatLng(52.51112385136416, -3.718475750781187),
mapTypeId: google.maps.MapTypeId.ROADMAP
});
var layer = new google.maps.FusionTablesLayer({
query: {
select: "col2>>1",
from: "1GbF1tKsgQshl1kxOLNDGgw52Wv8bWYL6njpcKVI"
},
styleId: 2,
map: map,
suppressInfoWindows: true
});
var infowindow = new google.maps.InfoWindow();
google.maps.event.addListener(layer, 'click', function(e) {
var childpoverty = e.row['Child poverty rate'].value;
if (childpoverty > 22) {
pcolour = '<p style="color: red; font-weight: bold;">';
}
else if (childpoverty > 13) {
pcolour = '<p style="color: orange; font-weight: bold;">';
}
else {
pcolour = '<p style="color: green; font-weight: bold;">';
};
var sponsored = e.row['Sponsorship'].value;
if (sponsored == 1) {
contentString = [
'<div class="tabs">',
'<ul>',
'<li><span>Sponsor</span></li>',
'<li><span>Information</span></li>',
'</ul>',
'<div id="tab-1">',
'<p style="font-weight: bold;">' + e.row['Local authority'].value + '</p>',
'<img src="' + e.row['Logo'].value + '" width="100"></img>',
'</div>',
'<div id="tab-2">',
'<p style="font-weight: bold;">' + e.row['Local authority'].value + '</p>',
'<p>' + e.row['Political control'].value + '</p>',
pcolour + e.row['Child poverty rate'].value + '</p>',
'<p>' + e.row['Unemployment rate'].value + '</p>',
'</div>',
'</div>'
].join('')}
else {
contentString = [
'<div class="tabs">',
'<p style="font-weight: bold;">' + e.row['Local authority'].value + '</p>',
'<p>' + e.row['Political control'].value + '</p>',
pcolour + e.row['Child poverty rate'].value + '</p>',
'<p>' + e.row['Unemployment rate'].value + '</p>',
'</div>'
].join('')};
infowindow.setContent(contentString);
infowindow.setPosition(e.latLng);
infowindow.open(map);
$(".tabs").tabs({ selected: 0 });
});
}
</script>
And here's the script with the infowboxes
<link type="text/css" href="http://code.jquery.com/ui/1.8.12/themes/smoothness/jquery-ui.css" rel="stylesheet" />
<script src="http://www.google.com/jsapi"></script>

};
ib.setOptions(myOptions);
ib.setContent(iboxText);
ib.setPosition(e.latLng);
ib.open(map);
$(".tabs").tabs({ selected: 0 })
});
}
</script>
Like I say, virtually completely the same, except the second one, no tabs.
I am SO stuck, any help would be so appreciated.
call $.tabs() when the domready-event of the infobox fires(the infobox has been attached to the DOM at this time, when you call $.tabs() earlier the infobox-content cannot be found by jQuery):
google.maps.event.addListener(ib,'domready',function(){
$(".tabs").tabs({ selected: 0 })
});
This worked for me:
google.maps.event.addListener(infoWindow, 'domready', function() {
jQuery("#tabs").tabs();
});

Using JQueryUI Dialog, how can I remove a table row that is displayed using <A>

Can anyone assist with how to successfully use JQueryUI Dialog where I remove a table row that is displayed in the dialog by using a link or some other mechanism?
Here is a visual of the code I'm working with

// Dialog Link

$('.ui-state-add').click(function() {
var target = $(this).attr("id");
//alert(target);
$("#carrier-table").prepend("<tr id='" + target + "'>" +
"<td><a href='#' id='" + target + "' class='ui-state-remove ui-corner-all'>remove</a></td>" +

$('.ui-state-remove').click(function() {
var target = $(this).attr("id");
alert(target);
$('#' + target).remove(); ;
//$('#carrier-list').dialog('open');
return false;
});
});
I came up with a solution.
<script type="text/javascript" id="removeCarrier">
function removeCarrierFromList(obj) {
var i = obj.parentNode.parentNode.rowIndex;
document.getElementById('carrier-table').deleteRow(i);
$('#' + obj.id).removeClass('delete-carrier-company');
//alert(obj.id); //.hasClass('add-carrier-company').tostring() ); //
$('#' + obj.id).bind('click', function() {
//alert('User clicked on ' + obj.id);
});
}
</script>
