I am new to ios.In my app we have documents like PDF,.DOC if we click that document means it will check wheather any third party app is installed in device or not.if any app installed (Ex.PDF Reader)the document is open that app. After opening the document suppose if user close the app i want to navigate to my APP
How to do that?
You could use apples PDF Kit and open the pdf within your own app that should give you the control you want.

I am using universal links to open an app. In the apple-app-site-association file I have 2 apps credentials saved to be opened with this universal link. I have both apps installed in my device. When I tap the link, a system dialog appears asking me which of the 2 apps I want to open. All is working fine. But the problem is that after selecting to open in one app, the system remembers my selection and don't ask anymore. Is it possible to don't remember that selection? Or to remove it?
I have wrapper app with some buttons to generate PDFs.
I would like to download PDF files to be opened by Adobe, now when I click on the button it open it within the app which make it unable to get back and I have to force closing the app.
I have a custom file type that needs to be opened within our app, but when I tap the file, a menu is presented asking if I want to open the file in Messages, Mail, Slack, Notes, and then our application. How can I get it so that the app opens automatically? Or at least get our app to the front of the list of possible applications.
you can't remove other apps from being able to open the UTI.
you can't influence the order of apps in the dialog
===
IF that is our own filetype, change the file's UTI ;)
I think I already know the answer to this ("can't be done"), but I figured I'd see what people think...
On my client's website they're posting files for download that specifically need to be viewed on iPads using the Cadwork Viewer app:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cadwork-viewer/id505161598?mt=8
You can't open the file on an iPad unless you have that app, and I'm wondering if when clicking on the file to initiate download if there's a way to scan the device to see if Cadwork Viewer is already installed. If so, proceed with the download of the file. If not, pop up a notice "This file requires the Cadwork Viewer app, download it here from iTunes." Something like that.
Again, I think this is just not doable, but hey...there's all sorts of things I don't know!
Thoughts?
Check out this link: https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/AppleApplications/Reference/SafariWebContent/PromotingAppswithAppBanners/PromotingAppswithAppBanners.html
You can add a banner to the mobile site that lets you open the app from Safari.
Explanation from Apple:
If the app is already installed on a user's device, the banner
intelligently changes its action, and tapping the banner will simply
open the app. If the user doesn’t have your app on his device, tapping
on the banner will take him to the app’s entry in the App Store.
This should be a good starting place.
In one of my current iOS projects, I need to have a functionality like, when we click on a link our app should get downloaded from appstore and automatically get active and when opens it, we should save some parameters which were present in the url. Is that something achievable in iOS?
This is not possible in 1 click, once the App is installed, the user will have to click the "Open" button.
