What is the animation effect that iOS mailing app is using? - ios

I'm trying to create an APP prototype and I was wondering what is the name of animation/transition effect that you see on top of the mailing app when you click the new message button. It's animation effect where the navigation bar does not fully go to the top of the screen and you can the previous view in the background? And is there way to add that animation effect to my storyboard? If not, is there a easily available library that will

I do believe that is a custom transition for which apple does not provide api.

What is this iOS Accessibility UI element, and how is it enabled/disabled?

I have members complaining that they are unable to tap certain buttons located in a custom navigation bar at the top of my iOS app. The common complaint is that when they do attempt to tap, they see UI that looks like this:
This is about a 200x200 pixel square that appears over the middle of the screen.
We have no code in our app that is capable of drawing that kind of UI. I can only assume this is being triggered by some kind of iOS UI or Usability setting. The only thing I can think of is that we also have a UITabBarController, and the user (in this case) happens to be on the "Browse" tab of my app. If possible, I would like to either a) programmatically disable this or b) inform the user how he can manually disable this UI via an iOS setting someplace.
Can anyone identify what might trigger the UI you see above?
It is a new feature of iOS 11. Take a look at Bar Item Images.
To disable this you should remove an image from Accessibility on Bar Item (see link). But I am not sure how (or even whether) you can define that a user has enabled large content text.

How does the Air BnB achieve the user menu?

Using the air bnb app, if you click on the far right icon on the tab menu, it opens a user menu which slides in from the right over the top but only takes up half of the screen. The rest of the screen below is dimmed.
How can this be implemented? Does it require a custom segue or view controller container?
I have seen a similar feature to what your describing done before using a modal segue that instantiates a new view with a partially transparent background. You have given a vague question so I can't really provide a specific answer. Comment if you need more info.

How to create a popup window in Xcode Swift?

I have an iOS info app. The main screen of the app consists of rows of icons. I want that after tap on certain icon card with information appears and background blurs. To close the card I need to swipe up or down. It is very similar to Instagram's imageviewer.
Please help me create that.
P.S. This is my first project so please keep this in mind when you going to describe the method.

The answer to your question is probably hidden beneath the layers of how you can segue between the scenes of a storyboard. First, you create a scene like this in the storyboard and use some third party libraries to present it as a 'pop-up'. It is not possible for you to do that natively as Apple has not added any segue style showing the scene like a pop-up on the iPhone screens (On iPad it's possible - check how Apple presents choose Wi-fi network in Settings). For that purpose, you can use BlurryModalSegue or CNPPopupController to perform such operations.

iOS: Facebook chat heads behaviour and animations

This question is probably a little out of date, but I've been using the new Facebook for iOS with the "chat heads" feature (with the chat heads only present within the app), and was wondering how Facebook went about implementing this? E.g. How did they handle the drag animations for the chat heads, and also (when clicking on the chat head) how did they manage to overlay a UITableView on top of the "base" UIViews in the background?
Is this all part of UIKit, or did they create their own classes to handle this?
To answer #StuartM's question in the comments, in the last couple of months I've had a bit more experience with UIKit, and I think I have a rough idea on how I would implement something like this if I was going to do it.
What I would do is for the chat head, create a styled UIButton and add it as subview to the main Window. For the dragging, I would add a Gesture Recognizer to the UIButton to respond to the drags, and for the "snapping to edges" I would use iOS 7's new UIKit Dynamics (http://www.raywenderlich.com/50197/uikit-dynamics-tutorial).
As for showing the UITableView overlay with the chat history, I would use a Child View Controller (https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/featuredarticles/ViewControllerPGforiPhoneOS/CreatingCustomContainerViewControllers/CreatingCustomContainerViewControllers.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40007457-CH18-SW6) and as for the popping open animation, I would just use the default UIView animations, maybe using animation transactions as I'm not sure I can do everything with just the implicit animations?
And I think that should be it. To be honest, I think anyone who has a handle on those frameworks should be able to build anything in their iOS apps, and if you were to create a "chat heads" like sample project in your spare time, should give you a pretty indepth knowledge of how those frameworks work.

Can we develop a custom UITababar?

Is this possible for us to customize the UITabbar as it is in the attached image for an iPAd App?
My App is only meant for Landscape orientation..
Will apple allow this?
I know that this same can be done using a UIToolbar and having tab like buttons. Since the number of tabs I will have in my app is around 5, I can not think of implementing them in a single view using UIToolbar.
I came to know that even if this kind customization is done, Apple will not approve the App.
I have actually used UIView to place different UIButtons in them and produce similar effects as that of UITabbar.
