Graphaware Framework and UUID not starting on Neo4j GrapheneDB

I am trying to get the Graphaware Framework and UUID running on a GrapheneDB instance. I have followed the instructions to zip the JAR and neo4j.properties files and uploaded using the GrapheneDB Web Interface but UUID's are not added when I create a new node.
neo4j.properties file
dbms.unmanaged_extension_classes=com.graphaware.server=/graphaware
com.graphaware.runtime.enabled=true
#UIDM becomes the module ID:
com.graphaware.module.UIDM.1=com.graphaware.module.uuid.UuidBootstrapper
#optional, default is uuid:
com.graphaware.module.UIDM.uuidProperty=uuid
#optional, default is false:
com.graphaware.module.UIDM.stripHyphens=true
#optional, default is all nodes:
#com.graphaware.module.UIDM.node=hasLabel('Label1') || hasLabel('Label2')
#optional, default is no relationships:
#com.graphaware.module.UIDM.relationship=isType('Type1')
com.graphaware.module.UIDM.relationship=com.graphaware.runtime.policy.all.IncludeAllBusinessRelationships
#optional, default is uuidIndex

Flume: Multiple sources adding logs to single sink

I am trying to collect the logs from different directories on single machine to local file system file or HDFS.
I have registered 2 sources r1, r2.
Both the sources are pointing to single channel C1.
There is one sink attached to the channel. K1
Please find the configuration file below:
# Name the components on this agent
a1.sources = r1
a1.sources = r2
a1.sinks = k1
a1.channels = c1
a1.sources.r2.type = exec
a1.sources.r2.command = tail -f /PATH/bper-peg-pt-rest.log
a1.sources.r1.type = exec
a1.sources.r1.command = tail -f /PATH/bper-peg-ejb.log
# Describe the sink
a1.sinks.k1.type = file_roll
a1.sinks.k1.sink.directory = /home/vbsc/Desktop/flume_project_logging/logs_aggregated
a1.sinks.k1.sink.rollInterval = 0
# Use file channel
a1.channels.c1.type = file
# Bind the source and sink to the channel
a1.sinks.k1.channel = c1
a1.sources.r2.channels = c1
a1.sources.r1.channels = c1
But when i start the Flume with Agent a1, only one source (r2) is getting started.

I need to declare two sources as below:
a1.sources = r1 r2
Earlier, i was doing it as
a1.sources = r1
a1.sources = r2
So only one source was getting registered.

Neo4j randomly shutting down

I am running neo4j on an EC2 instance. But for some reason it randomly shuts down from time to time. Is there a way to check the shutdown logs? And is there a way to automatically restart the server? I couldn't locate the log folder. But here's what my messages.log file looks like. This section covers the timeframe when the server went down (before 2015-04-13 05:39:59.084+0000) and when I manually restarted the server (at 2015-04-13 05:39:59.084+0000). You can see that there is no record of server issue or shutdown. Time frame before 2015-03-05 08:18:47.084+0000 contains info of the previous server restart.

Flume 1.5.0 + Reading log data from remote Linux server

I am new to Flume. I have Flume and Hadoop installed in one server and logs are available in other server.
Through Flume, I am trying to read the logs. Here is my configuration file.
# Define a memory channel called ch1 on agent1
agent1.channels.ch1.type = memory
# Define an Avro source called avro-source1 on agent1 and tell it
# to bind to 0.0.0.0:41414. Connect it to channel ch1.
agent1.sources.avro-source1.type = syslogtcp
agent1.sources.avro-source1.bind = 10.209.4.224
agent1.sources.avro-source1.port = 5140
# Define a logger sink that simply logs all events it receives
# and connect it to the other end of the same channel.
agent1.sinks.hdfs-sink1.type = hdfs
agent1.sinks.hdfs-sink1.hdfs.path = hdfs://delvmplldsst02:54310/flume/events
agent1.sinks.hdfs-sink1.hdfs.fileType = DataStream
agent1.sinks.hdfs-sink1.hdfs.writeFormat = Text
agent1.sinks.hdfs-sink1.hdfs.batchSize = 20
agent1.sinks.hdfs-sink1.hdfs.rollSize = 0
agent1.sinks.hdfs-sink1.hdfs.rollCount = 0
# Finally, now that we've defined all of our components, tell
# agent1 which ones we want to activate.
agent1.channels = ch1
agent1.sources = avro-source1
agent1.sinks = hdfs-sink1
#chain the different components together
agent1.sinks.hdfs-sink1.channel = ch1
agent1.sources.avro-source1.channels = ch1
I am not sure what exact source type to use in this scenario. I am starting Flume agent like below in the other server:
bin/flume-ng agent --conf-file conf/flume.conf -f /var/log/wtmp -Dflume.root.logger=DEBUG,console -n agent1

Flume version using - 1.5.0

Thanks in advance
You will need to configure the other server to forward its syslog output to your logging server. That configuration depends on exactly which syslog daemon you are running.
The log output makes it appear that it started correctly to me.
Problem is probably from syslog.
Your flume appears to have started fine , the reason it appears to be idle is that it is not recieving any events from syslog.
make sure your syslog daemon is sending events to
port = 5140
and for
agent1.sources.avro-source1.bind , you can bind to any source by replacing ip with 0.0.0.0 (if you plan to listen from multiple servers)
you can check that in /etc/rsyslog.conf
. #hostnameofflume:flumesourceport
in your case it should be
*.* #10.209.4.224:5140 (assuming this ip is of your flume host)

You will also have to specify the binding address for the jboss server. For jboss5.x, the command will be like
Jboss\jboss-5.0.1.GA\bin\run.jar -b0.0.0.0
Check your port number under /deploy/jbossweb.sar/server.xml, I think the problem is right there.
It should be like this ==>
<!-- A HTTP/1.1 Connector on port 8080 -->
<Connector protocol="HTTP/1.1" port="8080" address="${jboss.bind.address}"
maxThreads="250" strategy="ms" maxHttpHeaderSize="8192"
emptySessionPath="true"
enableLookups="false" redirectPort="8443" acceptCount="100"
connectionTimeout="20000" disableUploadTimeout="true"/>
Check the port number!
