Error when adding Blog Post page in Umbraco4 - umbraco

I am having troubles adding a new Blog Post to my Umbraco 4 website. This has been working fine up until recently and not sure what changes would have caused this error.
I have added a new Blog Date Folder and then tried to add the Blog Post but as soon as it navigates to the content editor, I get the following error.
Any ideas?

It looks like you have a property pointing to a node that no longer exists. Go into the Settings tab and view the properties of your doctype. Look for the property using the "uComponents XPathDropDownList".
You may have removed or updated a node that one of your property editors was using.

Umbraco - editing preview window sidebar options

I have a project which is using Umbraco v7.7.9 installed with nuget.
I was wondering if it is possible to change the buttons displayed in the sidebar section when a user selects to preview a content node. Particularly I want to remove the option that allows the user to close the preview.
The reason I want to hide this option is because some of the content the backoffice users will be previewing will not actually be published yet so clicking the close preview button causes an error.
I first asked this question on the Umbraco forums but haven't received a response yet, here is the link to the question: https://our.umbraco.org/forum/extending-umbraco-and-using-the-api/90878-editing-preview-window-sidebar-options
Thank you in advance.
Currently no - it would not be possible without doing hacks in the Core that would be overwritten when you upgrade your site (unless you manually merge your changes in when updating).
If you however don't mind doing that - the file used for the preview function is /umbraco/preview/index.html. You should look for the element with an exitPreview() click handler attached to it.
In later versions (7.10+) this modification will have to be done in /umbraco/Views/Preview/Index.cshtml instead, as these static files will be changed to MVC actions.

Can not edit foreign key field in Django admin and pop-up form is not really popping up

I am using Django-suit for admin panel. My 'user' model has 'address' and 'contact' fields as foreign key. When trying to change the user's info, the address and contact fields has change/edit and add new options beside them. But the change/edit option remains disabled (see image).
Besides, when I click on add new icon, a new form window is supposed to pop-up. But instead it take me to the form in same browser tab. Any insight for solving this problem?
After getting question from #Efi MK, I tried once again to dig into the problem, and found my mistake with the help from this post (Django admin add related object doesn't open popup window?).
The main project was previously implemented using Django-1.6. I was extending the project by adding some new features using Django-1.11. The problem is, the static files I was using for Django-admin, were from previous version. The 'collectstatic' command didn't replace those files from previous version which has same name as new version. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that.
I deleted whole 'static' folder, ran 'collectstatic' again, and both of the problems mentioned in the question were solved. Thanks, Efi for asking :)

Branch.io returns me a File Not Found

I'm trying the Branch.io API and I think I'm getting a weird problem because I'm not able to create my links properly: I can use the link for starting the app without parameter: this link http://4t3i.app.link/KDSYTMnSZs.
It works perfectly but as soon as I try to put some parameter following the doc for appending query parameters, it returns a File Not Found Webpage.
I tried:
https://4t3i.app.link/a/?&jobId=saucisse
https://4t3i.app.link/a?%24deeplink_path=article%2Fjan%2F123&%24fallback_url=https%3A%2F%2Fgoogle.com&channel=facebook&feature=affiliate&user_id=4562&name=Alex (that's the example they give)
I have the feeling I'm really missing something but no idea what. Is that so easy to add parameters: just a/ and then appending parameters??
Alex from Branch.io here:
We recently made a major back-end change to accommodate some new technical limitations that Apple imposed with iOS 9.3.1, and unfortunately it looks like we didn't fully update all our docs yet!
Your links are correct, but the /a is no longer necessary. So they would be:
https://4t3i.app.link?&jobId=saucisse
https://4t3i.app.link?%24deeplink_path=article%2Fjan%2F123&%24fallback_url=https%3A%2F%2Fgoogle.com&channel=facebook&feature=affiliate&user_id=4562&name=Alex
When you open these, you'll be able to see the link clicks coming through on this dashboard page
Thanks for noticing this. I'll make sure we get the documentation changedto reflect the new system.
Edit: also note that those examples above create new links with the specified parameters. If you simply want to append an additional parameter to an existing link, you'd do this: http://4t3i.app.link/KDSYTMnSZs?jobId=saucisse

Umbraco says it's saved changes to templates but the changes are lost

Each time I make a change to an Umbraco template and press Save, I get the confirmation popup saying:
Template saved
Template saved without any errors!
However, when I return to that template (click on another template and then back again), the changes have been lost.
I've ensured that the user account running my IIS application pool has Full Control over the \Views folder containing the .cshtml files (i.e. the Umbraco templates).
Strangely this just started happening, after it had been letting me make template changes with no problems. I can manually edit the .cshtml files on disk, but this seems ridiculous.
Any ideas?
A couple of things:
1) Have you checked that the following Windows accounts have full permissions for all folders "IUSR", "IIS_IUSRS", "NETWORK SERVICE" ?
2) Probably not but I have had problems in the past with caching. Have you disabled (set from True to False) caching properties in /config/umbracoSettings.config ? This should always be done during development.
OK, I'll provide an answer for others' future reference (although the reasons are unclear to me). It appears the change I was making to my Template must've been deemed invalid by Umbraco - when I strip the template text down to just a single, empty div and save it, the change is persisted successfully.
The confusing thing is that Umbraco provides no feedback as to why it's not saving - in fact it tells you that it HAS saved successfully.
Bizarre and confusing.
Just been editing my templates and got this problem. Fixed it by doing the following:
sign out of umbraco
clear your browsing data
sign back into umbraco
always be sure to copy and paste your code somewhere to keep it safe, and it can be easily pasted back in. Seems like a bug to me... but it saved after I did that.
(Using Umbraco 7)

dhtmlxScheduler using ASP.NET MVC Refresh Error

I am getting an error about incorrect html when I return from the Save view which means the displayed scheduler is not being refreshed to fix the last set of data. Having made a change or addition, it is displayed correctly if I close the website and open it again, so the update has been saved in the table. It is just the refreshing of the currennt view that I am having problems with. Does anybody have any suggestions as to where I might look?
As usual, this was my mistake. I had created a new project and copied the Save.aspx view from another project. The Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage<RLSBCWebSite.Controllers.CalendarActionResponseModel>" still referred to the old project.
Make sure you create a new page in your project and copy just the contenets from old projects!
