Two WampServer installed on Windows 7, one on the c drive, another drive d I start WampServer d, localhost access is the c drive info, why ?
You cannot have 2 installes of the same WAMPServer on the same PC. And there is no reason to have 2 anyway.
You can have a 32 and a 64 bit WAMPServer installed on the same PC but again there is no reason to do that either
This is because the second install will uninstall the Apache and MySQL services created by the first install, and replace them with the Apache and MySQL from the second install.

Not sure what version of Windows 10 you have, but if you have the version that supports Hyper-V you have two good options.

Using either Oracle's Virtual Box or Hyper-V you can basically have a dedicated VM on your local box in the time it takes to download a pre-packaged box. I used this for a long time, though I now use http://c9.io as a cloud based IDE.
Step 1. Download the Oracle VM Virtual box from here.
Step 2. Download the Ubuntu ISO file. 64 bit Windows supports both 32 bit as
well as 64 bit guest OS. If your machine is a 64 bit machine then
download ubuntu-14.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso.
Step 3. Enable Intel vt-x from the BIOS menu.
Step 4. Disable Hyper-V platform from Turn windows features on or off.
Step 5. Insert the ISO image into the virtual CD/DVD drive as instructed here.
Step 6. Once the Ubuntu is installed on your VM. Install virtual box guest additions and it will be mounted inside the /media folder and at the right hand corner there will be a button to install the software and you're done with your setup.
I'm having a big problem with my wamp server for some months now.
I've developed 6 sites locally using wamp server. I had a problem with my computer and copied all my site directories to a hard Disk.
I got a new computer with W8.1 on it and copied back the wamp-folder. I tried to lunch it, but its not working. So i've installed a new wamp server. But i've no idea how to import my site from the old server to the new.
My first problem is that I can't get my old site running on the new wamp installation. I did not save my databases before my computer went down.
But I thing I can find it on the mysql folder from the old system backup. Where and how, I've no idea. So I would like to take my sites from the old wamp and installed it on the new one or get it to work on the new wamp. I've already googled for one month now but I could not find any solution!
Option 1. ReCreate the old WAMPServer on the new PC
If you have the complete directory structure backed up from your old PC then you can just copy the complete folder structure from your backup to the new PC.
Make sure you put it on the same disk and folder that it was originally installed on, so if it was originally installed in C:\wamp make sure you copy it back to that folder.
Launch the wampmanage.exe from that folder ( C:\wamp\wampmanager.exe )
Using the wampmanager menus do
left click wampmanager -> Apache -> Install Service
left click wampmanager -> MYSQL -> Install Service
WAMPServer should now be as it was before your problem
Windows 8.1 has a blank C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file, so you will also need to add all the domains for any Virtual Hosts you had created, but at a minimum it should have these entries.
127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 localhost
Option 2. Add your old Apache/PHP/MYSQL to the new installation of WAMPServer
Remember, one of the big advantages of WAMPServer over other Windows AMP stacks is its ability to have more than one version of each of Apache/PHP/MYSQL in the same WAMPServer instance ready for easy switching between verions of all of these.
So you could keep the new installation and selectively copy over the Apache/PHP/MYSQL versions and then copy over your 6 sites.
So STOP WAMPServer
copy the OLD \wamp\bin\apache\{apacheversion} folder to NEW `\wamp\bin\apache\
copy the OLD \wamp\bin\php\{phpversion} folder to NEW `\wamp\bin\php\
copy the OLD \wamp\bin\mysql\{mysqversion} folder to NEW `\wamp\bin\mysql\
Restart WAMPServer
You should now see that the old and new version of Apache/MYSQL/PHP are available.
Now copy your OLD \wamp\www\??? site folders into NEW \wamp\www\??? and your 6 sites should also be available.
Now you can switch back to the old versions of Apache/PHP/MYSQL and run your sites like that, or backup you databases properly using the old MYSQL version and then restore them to your new MYSQL version
You switch versions using the wampmanager menus like so:-
wampmanager -> Apache -> Version -> (click the required version number )
wampmanager -> MYSQL -> Version -> (click the required version number )
wampmanager -> PHP -> Version -> (click the required version number )
Six years later, I just resolved this exact same problem. I tried #RiggsFolly's solutions to no avail. Reading logs to try debugging this whole mess became tedious real fast, especially if the paths between the old and the new installations don't match anymore.
Considering a new clean wampserver installation and an old wamp(64) directory from somewhere else:
First, export your mysql's databases.
To do that, use the command line to reach C:\path\to\old\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql{version_number}\bin and start the mysql server with the mysqld command (when you are done exporting, use mysqladmin -u {user name} shutdown). Now, export your databases with mysqldump or any other method you will find around and re-import them inside your new installation.
Transfer the folders of your projects inside www from the old to the new installation.
Recreate your virtual hosts by pointing the paths out to the related pasted folders inside www.
There you go. This way, everything was cleanly imported and you don't have to worry about a dirty setup which will bug at some point.

But recently I download MSVCR110.dll and I send it C:\Windows\system32 and restart computer. But when I run Wamp server then it is also show this message.
I assume you are trying to install WAMPServer 2.5 on a Windows XP system.
I am afraid that will not work as Apache/PHP & MySQL in that version are all compiled with MSCV11 (VC2012), and unfortunately the MSCV11 runtime will not run on Windows XP. This is a Microsoft thing and not a WAMPServer problem.
Your best bet is to install WampServer 2.2e as Apache/PHP & MySQL were all compiled with an ealier version of the compiler and that runtime will work on XP.
I need to work with Delphi 6 Update 2 in Windows 8.1 x64 (in case you were wondering, it's about maintaining an old application, migrating to a newer version is not an option. I can't use a VM because I use the same machine to connect to some peripherals that don't work in a VM).
The problem is that Update 2 has a 32 bit installer with a 16 bit stub. So the current behaviour is that the installer starts, it extracts the files in a temp location, starts the setup then nothing appears on screen.
So far, I gathered that it is impossible to do it. But the same behaviour I 've seen for SQL Server 2000 (don't ask) but there I was able to use msetup.exe (DemoShield) to open a sqlservr.dbd that started the script. However, there is no such dbd file. I guess I was lucky on SQLServer 2000.
So far I've tried compatibility mode, DosBox, replacing the setup file with both Installshield 3 and 5, waiting for hours for the setup to start (sometimes, W8 does that), even comparing files and registries on an XP machine before and after update 2 but this might be a bit too risky to apply on a real machine.
Since Windows 8.1 86 includes Hyper-V for running VMs, most modern hardware supports Hyper-V, and Windows 8 x86 can still run 16-bit based apps:
Install a Windows 8.1 x86 VM under your host physical machine, then install it there.
The up-tick: it is easy to move your VM to a new host without needing to reinstall a full new VM.

Hyper-V can redirect quite a bit of hardware from the host to the VM nowadays. For "old" hardware like COM and LPT ports you often can buy USB adapters that can be redirected.
If installing on x86 Windows 8.1 works and x64 fails, I think you have proved the assumption that the 16-bit portion of the installer is the culprit.

I started Delphi 6, ignored the warning about incompatibilities (which was talking about Delphi 7 anyway) and went through the registration/activation process again. This time it worked.
Maybe I should mention, that I did not install any of my Delphi versions to c:\program files but put them into c:\Delphi instead to avoid any problems with access rights to the installation directory.
Has anybody managed to get Tomcat to run as a service on Win2008 64bit? I need it for a 3rd party component that my site relies on. It works fine otherwise, but I just can't get it to run as a service. I've tried all the googling I can, and experimented with various 64bit tomcat.exe / tomcatw.exe without success. Upgrading to Tomcat 6 didn't help either.
I'm running Java 1.5 64bit.
Download apache-tomcat-6.0.30-windows-x64 version.
Extract to c:\Tomcat6
open command prompt run as Adminstrator
and go to Tomcat6\bin directory and run from command prompt>service install
Tomcat6 will install as Windows Service.
again go to Tomcat6\bin and open tomcat6w.exe run as administrator and modify your changes.

Download the latest builds. Your issue was the 64 bit procrun.exe/tomcatw.exe wasn't provided. The newer installers for Tomcat 5.5 and Tomcat 6 include both 32 and 64 bit and deploy the appropriate one

While the Java components of Tomcat run happily under a 64 bit JVM, the installers that build the Windows service are 32 bit executables and won't work correctly under 64 bit Windows operating systems.
Fortunately, the Tomcat team has put together 64 bit versions of these executables, although they only include them in the source distribution for each version of Tomcat. If you've already installed a copy of Tomcat, here's how to update the executables:
1) Download and extract the source distribution for your version of Tomcat from OLEX
2) Find the directory tomcat-X.X.XX-src/connectors/procrun/bin/amd64/
3) Copy the executables from the above directory into the tomcat-X.X.XX/bin, overwriting the 32 bit versions
4) Run the command service.bat install. This will install the service under the displayed name Apache Tomcat (the service name will be Tomcat5)
It worked to me! And I was looking for this solution for a while...
