In a column chart, I want to face other columns on mouse overing on one column.
Another advanced version of this that I am trying to achieve is in case of stacked column chart. Fade everything apart from the stack on which mouse is over.
You're not supplying code to begin with so I'll try to be as specific as possible in my solution. You want to start by creating a mouseOver event which is triggered when you hover over any of your columns. This event will identify the column being hovered. You then trigger a function which 'fades' all series EXCEPT the hovered one. The fading can be done by grabbing the original colors of the columns and increasing the brightness. Then on loss of hovering, return to the original brightness.
If you provide us with a fiddle, we will be able to give you a more specific response but please attempt the task yourself.

I have my line chart showing all the data properly, including some annotated values which are meant to act as the label in the last data point for the lines. I wanted to do it this way so that I don't have to show literally every data label for every data point.
I have everything working correctly, but I noticed I am unable to remove the annotated legend item without removing the series. By removing the series, I lose the label. Below is my chart.
As you can see, the last data points are working as labels (1092 for example). The problem is you can also see each annotated item in the legend (the colored dashes with no text next to them). How can I only show the legend items for Gained (green), Lost (red), Net (gained - lost) (yellow), and Total (blue), without the other dashes? Is this doable?
I am also open to seeing if there is another way to have only the last data point have a data label in Google Sheets. I was just working off of this tutorial.
Below is a screenshot of some of my data rows in an accompanying sheet.
as long as the annotation column is specified as 'Label' for the primary column you shouldn't be seeing the former in legend
So I have 3 values which are, Percent, Target, and Overtime.
I want to show on the chart the percent with overtime as one stacked column chart, but for the target, I want to make it show as one line as it will be like a fixed value.
I have tried a lot but it didn't work for me at all. Does anybody have any idea how to get this working, please?
Here is the sheet for the chart: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pSyWYMzDFGDNkDTfv1LMurcsvrN6bx3GjxVbmqFijk8/edit#gid=0

Chart editor: in Customize tab on Series setting you can change each one of [Percent,Target,Overtime] specifically to be type [line, column, or more] to make combo chart
I hope it'll help you
I need to show in one single bar chart the number of elements of each column and also its percentage regarding the total.
With a Line and stacked columns chart, I reach this:
However, the tooltip option, on the line, shows me only one value, and I need to get both of them. I mean, not only that 32 but also the percentage corresponding to that value.
Is there a way to get this? maybe another chart?
OK. I understand the question now. Unfortunately, this isn't currently possible.
From Microsoft Community Support,
This is an expected behavior. The tooltips only show when you hover over a column data point in combo chart.

Combo Charts: How to add tooltip on line
I am using HighStock for comparative analysis, where it shows same number of series during different time periods, as shown in this fiddle.
It has multiple x and y axes. when I move mouse over the chart, it shows series wit value at mouse current location.
Problem:
Problem in this chart is, tooltip do not show values of all series, but a few and those series change in tooltip window. I want tooltip to show all series with corresponding or nearest point value at mouse location.
Another problem is with navigator, navigator is showing only dates corresponding to first x-axis it should show dates of all axes, stacked one above the other(like in chart),
Moreover, when I minimize the navigator window, it shorten only first x-axis but not all, I want it to shorten all x-axes. The said issue can be observed in following image.
Is there any possibility to stop rendering a chart in high chart on legendItemclick event.
In my current scenario , there are six columns, where the second column is placed in mid of the first column , using series.PointWidth and series.groupPadding options and respectively for other columns.
when I click on any legend the columns are collapsed and irregular.
I just want to place the other column in same position and just hide other column for which the legend is toggled.
In general it should be possible to achieve with ignoreHiddenSeries: false, but looks like it's a little buggy: http://jsfiddle.net/6GCbp/. Reported here, thanks!
