Can I use Parse without Facebook integration? - ios

In other words: Are there better alternatives to Parse if you want to develop a cloud-enabled app and don't need any Facebook integration?

You don't need to integrate Facebook into your app, if you're using Parse. It's only an option. But if you're using CocoaPods you can get errors if you do not attach the Facebook SDK to your project.

Is it possible to integrate the Facebook login without using the iOS SDK?

Currently i am using the Facebook SDK to implement the Facebook login to our native iOS application. For this i am using the native iOS SDK for Facebook. This application is both for mobile and web, so is it possible to integrate Facebook login without using the SDK from application side. I mean authentication done fully through API and server side.
Please have a suggestion.
I referred to a SO link:
Design for Facebook authentication in an iOS app that also accesses a secured web service
Sure! You can always use their API directly, which essentially is the same as they do with the SDK.
Check out the documentation on the following link.

App requests in Facebook without re-logging and use session in Social Framework

I've successfully connected in Facebook using Social Framework, also able to get list of my friends. However, I need to invite friend to use my app, I have been reading some articles and stackoverflow, that this need to use Facebook SDK.
Now, I able to achieve this using Facebook SDK. but then I need to re-logging (show pop up or direct to FB app). What I want is, to use session or outhToken that I have while I connected using Social Framework and use it in Facebook SDK. what I know, I have outhToken already. how to use this maybe to pass in FBSession or whatever class object to show app request ?
below is sample of app request.
For those who stumbled this question,
Facebook now remove graph API to grab friends that doesn't install the app. hence we cannot invite friends who doesn't install app.
even using Facebook SDK. if anyone has better solution or any updates on this, please share.

how to implement twitter in iphone app

Is there any tutorial out there showing how to use OAuth on IPhone?I download it from Gitgub. I want to send a mesage from my app to twitter. How to implement this...Anybody help me to immlement this?Advance thanks
Another option: DETweetComposeViewController
It uses OAuth for iOS4 and the built-in Twitter features in iOS5.
sai, you might want to look at the Socialize SDK (http://www.getsocialize.com) which will help manage the entire Social Integration process (FB/Twitter) for you without needing to know OAuth. Oauth is kind of a pain.
