How to include pub package path.dart in pubspec.yaml - dart

I am working on an http server POC based on the route package demo. It requires the path package which states that my pubspec.yaml file contain the folowing:
name: poc
description: Proof of Concept
dependencies:
route: any
path:any
The editor marks the word path as a reserved word and when I do a pub get I get an error
Pub get failed, [1] Syntax error on line 5, column 11: invalid YAML in plain scalar
which is the line that has the path dependency. How do I resolve this?
Dart Editor version 1.0.0_r30338 (DEV)
Dart SDK version 1.0.0.7_r30338

You are missing a space:
path:any
Should be:
path: any
I get the same error without a space on any item in the pubspec.yaml

In general, like #Ittai, I would suggest you open an issue in the intellij plugin github repo.
Unfortunately, your version of the plugin is no longer supported. I, too, previously ran into an issue with an older version of the plugin and was recommended to upgrade to the latest version. Which resolved the specific issue I was facing.
When reporting the issue make sure to include the following bits of information:
intellij build number
plugin version number
rules_scala version
operating system (it seems your using Windows, while most users use unix based systems)
bazel release number
how you have opened the intellij project (BUILD file, WORKSPACE, .blazeproject)
Additionally, to verify this is in fact an issue with the plugin, I would also suggest you try to reproduce this issue on a Unix based system. It seems you are using Intellij
compile on Windows. This may be Windows specific issue with aspects not being recognized.
When attempting to reproduce, make sure to clone your repository in a separate directory, close the intellij project, and reopen the project

package "dart_to_js_script_rewriter" is not a dependency

I just started learning dart.
first I created an angular2-dart based project from https://angular.io/docs/dart/latest/quickstart.html and it worked properly.
now I want to add auth0-lock dart package from https://pub.dartlang.org/packages/auth0_lock, so I modified pubspec.yaml to the following:
name: go_dart_angular2_zingchart
description: Go Dart Angular2 with ZingChart Started Kit
version: 0.0.1
environment:
sdk: '>=1.13.0 <2.0.0'
dependencies:
angular2: ^2.0.0-beta.18
browser: ^0.10.0
dart_to_js_script_rewriter: ^1.0.1
auth0_lock: ^0.1.0
transformers:
- angular2:
platform_directives:
- 'package:angular2/common.dart#COMMON_DIRECTIVES'
platform_pipes:
- 'package:angular2/common.dart#COMMON_PIPES'
entry_points: client/web/main.dart
- dart_to_js_script_rewriter
and now when I execute pub get I get the following error:
Error on line 15, column 3 of ../../../.pub-cache/hosted/pub.dartlang.org/auth0_lock-0.1.0/pubspec.yaml: Error loading transformer "dart_to_js_script_rewriter": package "dart_to_js_script_rewriter" is not a dependency.
- dart_to_js_script_rewriter
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
since I'm new to dart and not entirely sure what I'm doing.. I have no idea how to fix this :)
any ideas ?
thanks!
I get the same error when adding auth0_lock: ^0.1.0 to my dependencies and running pub get. The error message says that "dart_to_js_script_rewriter" is not a dependency in the pubspec.yaml of the auth0_lock package. It looks like it's added under dev_dependecies if you look here. Dev dependencies of any dependent packages are ignored. Pub only gets your package’s dev dependencies.
So I think this is a problem in their package.
So, what I did was I went to https://github.com/andresaraujo/auth0_lock.dart and cloned the package, added it into my own project root in a directory called auth0_lock. And then, in my pubspec.yaml i put:
auth0_lock:
path: auth0_lock
After that I can import it using
import 'package:auth0_lock/auth0_lock.dart';

Dart: "Invalid argument(s): Illegal character in path" when building on Windows

The offending line in my index.html file reads
<script src="main.dart" type="application/dart"></script>
The error report is:
Build error:
Transform polymer (PolymerBootstrapTransformer) on myproj_frontend|web/index.html threw error: Invalid argument(s): Illegal character in path
dart:core/uri.dart 855 Uri._checkWindowsPathReservedCharacters
dart:core/uri.dart 956 Uri._makeWindowsFileUrl
The entire path to the project is
D:\Projects\MyProj\MyProj_Project
I'm building from command line on Windows 7 using Dart VM version: 1.16.0
I honestly have no idea how to continue diagnosing or fixing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have the same problem. Looks like it is an issue with the analyzer package 0.27.0 and later.
I solved it by pinning the version in pubspec.yaml to <0.27.0.
I found that analyzer 0.27.2 is ok, but analyzer 0.27.3 will cause exception “Invalid argument(s): Illegal character in path” on my Win 10.
ps. I use Dart 1.16.0

OpenCV linemod not cv member

I try to install a ROS indigo package jsk_recognition for chessboard detection and relative position, I have opencv-3.0.0-rc1 on Ubuntu 14.04. When I try to catkin_make the package I receive build errors, quit a lot, the full report is here, but it starts like:
[ 73%] Building CXX object

maskFromTemplate(const std::vector<cv::linemod::Template>& templates,
the problem seams to be with the linemod class, which in the online opencv documentation exist but in my case the compiler does not recognise it. The linemod.h header file can't be find in any opencv folder only in:
./home/elod/catkin_ws/src/vision/jsk_recognition-master/jsk_pcl_ros/include/jsk_pcl_ros/linemod.h
./opt/ros/indigo/include/jsk_pcl_ros/linemod.h
./usr/include/pcl-1.7/pcl/recognition/linemod.h
Is this module missing somhow my OpenCV installation or why cant find it in the cv namespace?
In my old Opencv 2.4.11 (uninstalled) seams to be included this module, but I migrated all my stuff to 3.0.0.
Any ideas how to solve it?
UPDATE
A very important observation is that the above mentioned pkg is for Opencv2.4 and I'm using 3.0! Some stuff was moved or removed from the new version like cvSnakeImage, which also appears in this pkg.
An other question would be: how to replace the cvSnakeImage or with what can be replaced?
Did you build from scratch (clean build directory) ?
You could try adding cv:: namespace into *.hpp
-<linemod::Match>
+<cv::linemod::Match>
And/or try adding "#include <opencv2/rgbd/linemod.hpp>" into the same file.

Pub build produces warning every build: 'Can't find 'animate' in the library 'angular'.'

I'm boldly stepping into the world of AngularDart, admittedly not knowing too much Dart itself yet. I'm creating a new application that does nothing (yet), except includes the latest 'angular' package.
I'm using Dart 1.2.0 and AngularDart 0.9.9.
Very simple pubspec:
name: myapp
dependencies:
angular: any
My app layout:
pubspec.yaml
pubspec.lock
\lib
\packages
\web
In web I have a simple myapp.dart:
import 'package:angular/angular.dart';
main() {
}
My build seems to work fine, but I get the following warning:
Dart: Build
[Warning from Dart2JS on myapp|web/myapp.dart]:
packages\angular\angular.dart:31:23: Hint: Can't find 'animate' in the library 'angular'.
Is 'animate' spelled right?
#MirrorsUsed(targets: const [
^^^^^^^^
My question is, what does this mean, and is this anything to be concerned about?
This was a bug in AngularDart 0.9.9 and is fixed in current versions.
