Hello everyone i have a uiwebview which is loading a website. So the website has links on click which will open a different page. My question is how to add a slide transition when navigating from 1 page to another? Like kCATransitionFromLeft ? Or can i inject javascript or use css transition. assuming that I don't want to change the HTML code of the website.

This is a test page of my site. I learned how to create a link to jump to a specific part of a page, but what I want to accomplish is a link that opens a tab and/or jumps to content within a tab.
My main reason for this is I want people to be able to share a link that when used as a URL, it will go directly to the relevant tab opened with the content they want to see.
Without using javascript and CSS there is no provision in HTML to accomplish what you are looking for. However, if you do use javascript and CSS, this is quite easy. Tab sets can be implemented with <ul> and <li> elements, and jumps to tabs and specific bookmarks on tabs can be implemented with javascript based manipulation of CSS rules.
Hi i am new to iOS development. I have uiwebview for load a website. What is my problem is when the website load 1st time in the uiwebview the page show zoomly. Then when click other page inside or refresh the same page its comes under normal responsive page. I want initially the page should be normal or responsive page.. Can any one help me. I have made 3 different html pages and I set anchor as [data-ajax="false"] to move another page.
Is there any way to change the page when swipe left or right ?

There are many jQuery slideshow plugins and it is usually hard to decide which one is better.
SlideMe is a responsive jQuery slider. It is done using CSS3 and works smoothly even in IE7. It is easy to install and has full screen option.
I use this plugin (which I modified a little) and I'm satisfied.

I´m using jquery mobile for an iPad app, and I wanted to have the typical splitview layout so I used the splitview plugin which is working fine until now, but I would still have some minor questions:
Can my first page be a normal page, meaning non-split and then when for example I click on a button go to the second page which would be split?
How do I do to enlarge the left panel if I find it a bit narrow?

I am having the same issue.
I am able to workaround this by providing rel="external" on the link in my navigation menu. This however reloads the entire page, and the ajax effect is gone.

I am having the link button and when i clicked on the link button the popup will be open (with in the page itself like a modalpopup. now i have to get the popup feel using jquery and inside the div text should come from database.
How is it possible for getting the message from the backend.
means open a div in a modal popup feel using jquery
or opens the html page in a popup in the same window using jquery

Take a look at the Facebox jQuery plugin. It does pretty much exactly what you're asking for. For example you can have a link like this to some remote page like so

then just call the facebox plugin when your content is loaded like so

});
and your content will render in a modal window. You can also take a look at Fancybox or ThickBox which provide very similar functionality.
There are two steps to your problem:
Open a modal popup using jQuery
Fetch server side content and display it in the modal dialog
Use jQuery Dialog (http://docs.jquery.com/UI/Dialog) for popping open a modal dialog, and then use jQuery load (http://api.jquery.com/load/) for loading the content from the server.
The server page you call will make the database query and output the contents to the response buffer.
