I am trying to publish an MXBean to JMX but I am getting the following stack when I start the program and the bean is being published:
Caused by: java.io.InvalidObjectException: Do not know how to make a javax.management.openmbean.CompositeType from a CompositeData: no method from(CompositeData); no constructor has #ConstructorProperties annotation; does not have a public no-arg constructor; not an interface
at com.sun.jmx.mbeanserver.OpenConverter.invalidObjectException(OpenConverter.java:1403)
at com.sun.jmx.mbeanserver.OpenConverter$CompositeConverter.makeCompositeBuilder(OpenConverter.java:891)
at com.sun.jmx.mbeanserver.OpenConverter$CompositeConverter.checkReconstructible(OpenConverter.java:897)

at com.sun.jmx.mbeanserver.OpenConverter$CompositeConverter.makeCompositeBuilder(OpenConverter.java:868)
... 48 more
Now I now that MXBeans are only supposed use OpenMbean types as per the documentation but my class is only using java.lang.String and javax.management.openmbean.CompositeData, so I do not know why it is failing. The interface is:
import javax.management.MXBean;
import javax.management.openmbean.CompositeData;
#MXBean
public interface JmxAdministrationApi {
String synchronize(CompositeData clientInfo);
}
It is worth noting that the bean was being published correctly until I added the CompositeData parameter (i.e. with no parameters), and only then did this error occur.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Rob
Edit: also, we are using Spring JMX
You shouldn't be using CompositeData directly even though the documentation sounds like you should. The MXBean will take care of converting a proprietary data type into a CompositeData instance and back automatically.
Take a look at the samples provided in the documentation to see how you should use #ConstructorProperties annotation to make your data type play nicely with composite data and MXBeans.

I am trying to run experiments using the WarehouseRenderer and AgvRenderer from AgvExample.

This error indicates that there is a renderer attached to the simulator that expects a model of type CollisionGraphRoadModel. A renderer can only function correctly if there is a corresponding model that contains the data that needs to be rendered.
In AgvExample the following code (see lines 86-90) is used to add the required model:
.addModel(
RoadModelBuilders.dynamicGraph(GraphCreator.createSimpleGraph())
.withCollisionAvoidance()
.withDistanceUnit(SI.METER)
.withVehicleLength(VEHICLE_LENGTH))
You can add similar code if you want to use the WarehouseRenderer in your code.
I'm trying to create a Sitelet with SiteletBuilder in C#:
return WebSharper.Sitelets.Content.Page(...)
However, the class Websharper.Sitelet contains Content both as Struct and Class.
So, this does not compile.
Versions of Zafir-Libraries are
Zafir 4.0.152.29-beta5
Zafir.CSharp 4.0.152.29-beta5
Zafir.Html 4.0.56.95-beta5
Zafir.UI.Next 4.0.102.33-beta5
How to reference WebSharper.Sitelets.Content proberly?
Or is this indeed a bug?
Thanks for the report, created ticket: https://github.com/intellifactory/websharper/issues/645
I have been testing with having using WebSharper.Sitelets; and then using with shorter form Content.Page(...). C# can resolve this for some reason, although the name conflict indeed exists in WebSharper.Sitelets.dll
I am trying to run this code:
RichViewEdit1.LineCount[i]:= Cipher.EncryptString(RichViewEdit1.LineCount[i]);
And I keep getting an error: Array Type Required.
Why I'm I getting this error?
More Info:
LineCount is - System.Integer
And TRichViewEdit does not have a "Lines" property.
Because RichViewEdit1.LineCount is not an array.
What it is ? don't know. Look into your sources, we cannot see them here.
PS. There seem to be no .Line*** properties at all: http://www.trichview.com/help/pme_cp_trichviewedit.html
Dunno if that still is relevant - http://www.trichview.com/support/trichview.support.examples/retrievingtext.htm
Also read through http://www.trichview.com/help/idh_rvgettext.html
PPS. since you paid for the component, you're entitled to get their programming examples and their customer support service. Both this and that are available at http://www.trichview.com/support/
I am working ti old F# code from Expert F#. However, the example doesn't build anymore.
The following two calls don't seem to exist:
semaphore.AsyncWaitOne(?millisecondsTimeout=timeout)
and
reader.ReadToEndAsync()
Does anyone know what these have been replaced with or if I am just missing a reference?
It's now called Async.AwaitWaitHandle.
AsyncReadToEnd is in the F# PowerPack.
By now, FSharp PowerPack project has been broken up into smaller modules for any further development.
Specifically, the AsyncStreamReader class and the extension methods for the reading from a StreamReader, WebClient, etc. the new project is FSharpx.Async.
1) AsyncWaitOne is now called Async.AwaitWaitHandle.
2) AsyncReadToEnd() extension method does not exists anymore in the FSharp.PowerPack.
It has been replaced with the AsyncStreamReader dedicated type that contains proper asynchronous implementation of stream reading (like ReadToEnd, ReadLine, etc.)
It can be used like that:
async {
use asyncReader = new AsyncStreamReader(stream)
return! asyncReader.ReadToEnd() }
Note: Once you have installed FSharp.PowerPack, the AsyncStreamReader type will be 'injected' in the Microsoft.FSharp.Control namespace
I have generated a java package with the wsdl2java CXF command.
Now i want to deploy the wsdl to the tomcat server but I got these errors in logs when i start the server
I use opebEjb.
It looks like the wsdl is not valid.
How can i check this?

As Julien told in a comment above, this issue can be resolved by changing the package name for each wsdl if you are using more than one wsdl. In my case, I had two wsdl's, one downloaded in my work-space along with all the required xsd's and second used using a URL. Both of them pointing to same server. The reason for downloading the first wsdl was two name collision in object factory. Yes, the external bindings didn't worked, simply because the wsdl was total mess.
So, when I was trying to generate sources using wsdltojava, it was failing with "There's no ObjectFactory with an #XmlElementDecl...". I followed Julien's comments and the issue got resolved. I am not sure if this is the best and cleaner solution, but it worked.
What flags are you passing to wsdl2java?
Can you check the generated code for ObjectFactory classes? Check those to see if any methods are annotated with #XmlElementDecl.
