Windows 8 Message Window - delphi

Windows 8 has a new message window that displays in the top right side of the screen. Does Delphi XE4 have any API to access this new feature?

This kind of dialog is part of the Windows.UI.Notifications namespace which belongs to the WinRT, and unfortunately you cannot access the WinRT from Delphi directly. but maybe you can try this article to check a sample with experimental access to the WinRT from Delphi, Writing Hello World for WinRT in Delphi

This is Notifications or Toasts, you can find a C++ and C# example here - http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/windowsdesktop/Sending-toast-notifications-71e230a2
I've yet to see a direct Delphi implementation of this which is why I can only suggest the C++/C# version.

WebBrowser : VCL to FMX [duplicate]

I'm trying to create an Android (multi-device) application with Delphi 10.2 that uses TWebBrowser. I load a URL and I want to parse its contents for fields, but I don't know how do it.
I read this excellent guide: http://www.cryer.co.uk/brian/delphi/twebbrowser/twebbrowser_oleobject.htm#OleObject.Document, but the property WebBrowser.OleObject.Document doesn't exist.
Can somebody help me, please?
The TWebBrowser for FMX is completely different from TWebBrowser for VCL. The VCL one makes use (for access to the Document, etc) of interfaces provided by Internet Explorer, or rather the DLLs on which it is based. IE only runs on Windows, so you shouldn't be surprised to learn that the interfaces it provides are not available on FMX.
The FMX TWebBrowser is a completely different and far more limited beast. It is not automatable in the same way TWebBrowser for VCL/Windows is, and some would say that is a good thing.

How to access Windows.Services.Store from Delphi 7

I am selling Delphi app in Win 10 Store and like to start to use new buy in-app features. How to use Windows.Services.Store from Delphi 7 ?
Is there example code for accessing StoreContext COM interface ?
You have to build a wrapper C++ component that makes the API calls into Windows.Services.Store.* APIs and exports entry points for your app to call. Then you include this component in your Delphi app package and call from your Delphi code into the exported entry points.
I don't have a Delphi 7 sample available, but here is a sample that is applying the same concept with a VB6 app:

How to read page source TWebBrowser Firemonkey

How can I read source of the open page in TWebBrowser in firemonkey (RadStudio XE7 - Firemonkey for Android)
In VCL I simply used WebBrowser1.document but in firemonkey it has an error
TWebBrowser does not contain a member named document
How can I fix that?
The sad answer is that you can't access the source code of a webpage directly from the TWebBrowser. You can't access it because the TWebBrowser in FireMonkey is cross-platform and that means it must work on all platforms. Android and iOS does not support and allow this, which means the Windows Desktop version of TWebBrowser can't allow this either.
You will have to use a different component to do this, probably a third party component.
I am not sure if this will help you or not, but here is a link to something that might help: http://firemonkeylessons.blogspot.tw/2015/01/get-htmljson-from-twebbrowser.html

Delphi XE7 XML Documentation

In Delphi XE2, there was an IDE feature which allowed me to create in-line XML code documentation (following Microsoft standards) in an editor window. It would describe each class, type, method, etc. in the interface section of a unit. However, in Delphi XE7, I cannot find it. I've done some searching, but as you can imagine, Delphi XE7 XML Code Documentation does not return the results I'm looking for.
In XE2, I remember the shortcut to toggle this window was either CTRL + SHIFT + D or CTRL + ALT + D. Neither of them do anything in XE7. I know I could manually write this myself, but that's a bit inconvenient. All I can find in the documentation is how to write the text yourself, and nothing about the editor window I was used to in XE2. I never installed any Delphi add-ons other than what came with Delphi itself (besides IDE Fix Pack).
Where can I find this feature in Delphi XE7 Enterprise? Or was it removed for some reason?
The feature you are describing is not directly implemented into Delphi but comes as third party addon that does integrate into Delphi. It is called Documentation Insight.
http://www.devjetsoftware.com/products/documentation-insight/
Documentation insight had come as free third party addon till Delphi XE6 when it was suposingly removed. Don't ask me why as I don't know.
So I'm afraid that you will have to buy this third party IDE extention now.
EDIT: Or you could use newest version of Delphi for development of your program and older version of Delphi like XE2 to generate documentation.

How do I write a Delphi Galileo IDE Expert?

HI,
I want to write a small Delphi IDE Expert for D2007-D2009 (aka. Galileo IDE) in order to show a window with a TMemo instance on it, with all the component names and classes from the form designer in the above memo. The selected component will be marked with a '*'. The expert should appear on a menu/toolbar and have a shortcut assigned.
How do I do?
Ps: Actually the real code is more complicated than that, but I want to have a general framework to get started.
TIA
I did my first OTA with help of these links:
Erik's Open Tools API FAQ and Resources (The author of GExpert)
Delphi Open Tools API from Jim Kueneman - Mustangpeak
Delphi Open Tools API from RayRay Lischner
They are not updated to the latest versions, but they will you good start point and most of the code will work with the last version, I tried them with D2007.
There are links to articles describing how to write an OTA plug-in here:
