Trying to recognize a selection TableViewCell. They're static cells, not needing any scrolling. Do I need to implement the UITableView? Is there a way just to add actions to the TableViewCells without implementing the TableView and associate methods?
It's not clear what you want or why you would want to do it without using a table view. But, if you implement a UITableViewController that controls a static table view, you don't have to implement any of the usual data source methods. You could just implement the delegate method, tableViewDidSelectRowAtIndexPath:, and use that to provide the actions when you select a cell.

UITableViewCell is a subclass of UIView, so you can add it to any view as a subview. But UITableViewCell is designed to use in UITableView, you cannot make it work perfectly if you not use UITableView. Why not using a UITableView to contain the cells? You can set tableview.scrollEnabled = NO; to make it static.

I put the iCarousel View in a table View and try to scroll the iCarousel, but the problem is it's not scrollable at all.
I can see iCarousel in the cell like following:
and I put iCarousel datasource and delegate in the tableView Controller, create a customer function to set the iCarousel datasource and delegate.

First of all iCarousel is not any standarad View ... you should put link of the control that you're using
Second it seems like iCarousel is uses UIScrollView and UITableView is also derived from UIScrollView It's never a good idea to put a scrollview inside another scrollview.
This might be the reason why your table view is not scrolling.... BTW are you talking about horizontal scrollign or vertical scrolling ?
Currently I am using the iCarousel in Table View cell and it scrolls easily.
Just add standard view to cell in Storyboard.
In IB mark the class of that view to iCarousel.
Furthermore !ENABLE! user interaction on that view. (Maybe because of that you can't scroll the content inside the cell)
Implement separate datasource & delegate for every cell. (It is more clear which data are loading in the cell and also the cell itself can handle the data. You just pass the data to cell and it handles it accordingly.) - But it depends on you if you want to let one class to handle two separate control datasources & delegates :-)
I want to customize a cell in my UITableView subclass. But I cannot figure out is there any way to do it without defining itself dataSource, because it's obviously override external dataSource.
So basically I want to be UITableView dataSource without rewriting this property.
I have already come up with some dirty workaround. I'm reloading the -setDataSource: method to keep UITableView dataSource itself and save incoming data source into an internal variable for passing the requests to it.
You only need to override cellForRowAtIndexPath: and make your cell modifications there. The datasource will populate the cell as usual.

You can customize your cell in one of two ways: code or interface builder. The tableview datasource is the DATA you want to show, it has nothing to do with the presentation of that data.
What do you want to customize about your tableview? Changing fonts, font colors and background colors are easy to do. If you want to add additional ui elements, like images, more labels, then the quickest way is to use Interface Builder.
At my experiment I need to have reference to first UITableViewCell in tableView. By some action I need to set image and some other cell properties and to keep this state of this only cell even if the tableView will be scrolled. All of this properties can be potentially nulled via scrolling (and they actually are) because of reusing. For set this properties every time cell appears on screen, inside of `-cellForRowAtIndexpath' I tried to catch first cell using:

but looks like this way I can only catch every next first cell on next scrollable "screen".
So, how can I get ref to first UITableView cell?
If I understand you correctly, you are trying to do something special if the cell at (0, 0) is about to be displayed, right? If that's the case, you can easily implement UITableViewDelegate's tableView:willDisplayCell:forRowAtIndexPath: method as follows:

There is no "first" table view cell. The entire table view typically uses a single cell to improve performance.
You can change that, by implementing your own cell reuse system (search for reuse in the documentation). But generally the cell is the wrong place to store any data related to a specific index in the table view.
I have a UITableView that I want to alter some of the static cells after I do other processing. I have outlets set up for the cells that I want to modify, but when I look at them using NSLog, they show nil, which indicates to me that I don't have the correct cell. For instance, in the image below I want to add the start time to the label just like I did for Date (date was done when creating the cells for which I got the current date),
I tap on the disclosure indicator which takes me to another scene (this was created in Storyboard, using segues to get from one scene to another) where I get the two times I need. I then return to the main scene (shown) and try to alter the Start Time label, but nothing happens. A NSLog of the label prior to trying to alter it returns this:

I have read in one of the Apple docs that this textfield is read-only. If that is true in this case, is there a way I can reload the cells with the updated information? Or is there another way to do this?
You're using the wrong approach. You should not create a reference to a cell using an outlet. Once the cell moves out of the visible view, the outlet will either be null or contain garbage data. Even if (in your situation) the cell will never move out of view, I think it shows you're trying to use a UITableView in a way that was not meant to be.
Instead put the data you want to display in your cells in a dataSource, e.g. an array.
The tableView should use the dataSource to configure the values displayed in the textLabels of the cells. Once you want to update the text displayed in the cells, change the values in the dataSource and call reloadData on the tableView to force the tableView to call -tableView:cellForRowAtIndexPath: and related UITableViewDataSource methods.
Try to create an IBOutlet for each cell and connect it:

And also change your method to:

Are you using a UILabel to display the text ? . If you are just create an outlet to the UIlabel and update it any method like cellForRwoAtIndexPath or didSelectRowAtIndexPath etc that is called after you tableView is loaded.
If you are not using a UILabel and just using cell.textLabel you could do something like
cell.textLabel.text = #"ChangedText" in cellForRowAtIndexPathMethod. Make sure you are editing the required cell by checking indexPath.row
Do [tableView reloadData] to call cellForRowAtIndexPath.
I have grouped static cells in a UITableView. Now I'd like to add or delete (what is easier?) one specific cell, which I've already created in my storyboard. It depends on one NSString: If my string == YES, the cell should be displayed, else it shouldn't.

What you need is:
- (void)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView willDisplayCell:(UITableViewCell *)cell forRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath
This method is part of the UITableViewDelegate protocol and will be called when the table view is about to draw a cell for a particular row. This provides a UITableViewCell for you to work with.
To identify which cell you need to hide, you can add a tag to the UITableViewCell in the storyboard. This is easier because you are adding static cells.
Then you can just do:
if ([cell tag] == someInteger) {
cell.hidden = YES;
}
You can wrap this in a condition based on the value of your string that you have mentioned.
