Highchart Animation on IE7 - highcharts

In IE10 the animation is working perfectly, but when you enable compatibility mode (IE7) the animation simply does not happen.
I'm testing in the demo site of Highcharts: http://www.highcharts.com/demo/line-labels.

Indeed it looks like a bug so I've reported it in comment here: https://github.com/highslide-software/highcharts.com/issues/1711

Select2 iOS Browser scrolling issue

I'm using Select2 as dropdown with jQuery Mobile. Scrolling through the list works good on an Android browser. The list flows freely. But on On iOS devices, the scrolling isn't flowing freely. The scrolling halts immediately. Refer to this.
Help is required in fixing this.
try adding -webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch; to containing div.

jqueryui sortable issue with Chrome and Firefox

I created a horizontally scrollable container with sorting.
There are some requirements:
The bounding box is fixed width
Must scroll when overflowing, no wrapping
Here is the JSFiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/6vXG2/ (drag columns with pink header)
This works perfectly with: IE9, Opera, Safari
But not working with: Chrome, Firefox
In both Chrome and Firefox, the elements start jumping around. (Incidentally, the behavior on Firefox is different between Windows and OSX, using exactly the same version - 17.0.1)
When initially designing it using float:left, all browsers behaved correctly, but due to no wrapping requirement, I cannot use this.
Any ideas how to fix this? Or is this a jqueryui bug/issue?
Thanks
EDIT:
If I add border-collapse: collapse it behaves correctly again in Chrome, but breaks in Opera.
EDIT 2:
Found a 'weak' workaround going back to float:left: See http://jsfiddle.net/6vXG2/1/. Not ideal, but OK for now. Still open for suggestions.

jQuery Mobile persisten fixed header tab bar with page transition

i'm developing a simple three tabs app for Android and iPhone, using IBM Worklight as framework. Every tab links to a div with data-role="page", as jQuery Mobile specifications.
If I implement the jquery fixed persistent tabbar like is explained there (http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.2.0/docs/toolbars/footer-persist-a.html), i'm encountering some flickering on the tab item in page transition (with any transiction effect).
If I set the default transition to "none", I could resolve this problem, but I lost the transiction native-like effect.
This behavior appears only if i test the App with a real android device (Xperia Neo, GS2).
If i navigate trough the pages of http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.2.0/ with my smartphone, especially here: http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.2.0/docs/toolbars/footer-persist-d.html i can't see the strange behavior, but the footer won't be persistent trough the pages, it just re-render like the whole content and this is worse (this happen with the stock browser or Dolphin, instead looks very well by using Chrome).
Is there a way to improve this effect or there is another way to implement fixed persistent tab bar?
I used as reference the default Android Contacts App.
Maybe you're getting this flicker because you're navigating between pages using rel="external". Try to pass from one page to the other without ajax and you'll see that flickering will dissapear
The problem is due to poor performance of the WebView of the Android environment in rendering 3d transition.
Solved by removing the transition effect with:
$.mobile.defaultPageTransition = "none";
Something else that could help is putting these attributes in the AndroidManifest.xml:
<supports-screens
android:anyDensity="true"
android:largeScreens="false"
android:normalScreens="true"
android:smallScreens="false"
android:xlargeScreens="false" />
<application
android:debuggable="false"
android:hardwareAccelerated="true"/>

Is there any way to handle the flickering screen in jQuery mobile

I am using jQuery mobile 1.1.0 and I am facing a problem that when I run the application in the browser it works fine but when I run this through 'Home screen icon' it starts flickering the pages.
I am using iphone 5.1.
Does anybody have a solution for this issue?
You need to update to jQM 1.1.1, screen flickering issues have been fixed in this version. This problem affected running jQM in UIWebView container like PhoneGap, but I assume it's similar when you save it on the home screen.
Try updating and see if it'll fix your problem.
Announcing jQuery Mobile 1.1.1
It's because of the page transitions. If you disable them globally for the time being, you'll fix your problem. It sucks to lose the transitions, but the white "flash" is far worse.
Here's the docs on disabling page transitions: http://jquerymobile.com/test/docs/api/globalconfig.html

jquery mobile transitions effects are weird on ipad

jQuery Mobile page transition effects on any button click or any event are looking weird. What should I do to make it feel better?
Do they seem to flicker a bit?
If so, there's a discussion here:
jQuery Mobile blinking at page transitions on iPad
on the topic of the iPad transition flicker.
Seems an upgrade to iOS 5.0 may solve the problem. Also, if you are running it as an app, try in Safari. The bug was supposed to have been fixed in Safari.
