GdataXML (Ray Wenderlich's iPhone RSS Reader Tutorial) - ios

I'm following Ray Wenderlich's tutorial on creating a Simple RSS feed app.
Its great so far but I've found an issue.
At the point where he tells you to download GDataXML, he gives you a link that seems to not work, or have the desired libraries.
This is a screenshot of the portion of the tutorial:

This the screenshot of the page the link takes you to:

I really don't know what to do. The zip file on that link is for some addon for calenders.
Any help is appreciated.

If you click on the Source tab/link, you will be shown a page with the location of the read-only source. The location of the read-only source is displayed on that page:
# Non-members may check out a read-only working copy anonymously over HTTP.
svn checkout http://gdata-objectivec-client.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ gdata-objectivec-client-read-only

How do I have an animation play on app launch and how do I use SwiftyGif on GitHub?

I'm extremely new to Swift and App development, and have scoured every source I could find, but there's not a definitive step by step process that describes how to do this.
The closest to a solution I have encountered was on this website. However, it's a rather vague tutorial for a beginner. I've run into these problems and am unsure of what to do at this point, would appreciate it if someone could help me out, thanks in advance!
I'm not sure what to do with the SwiftyGif file after cloning it from GitHub
Towards the bottom of the Website Link above it states that "SwiftyGif allows us to load GIFs using a UIImageView and also to control when to start and end the GIF animation." How do I import the SwiftyGif file into the current file I am working on so that I may load the Gif to get a UI view?
Which documents would I put the lines of code towards the bottom of that page?

Rich link preview in flutter

Is it possible to make a preview from an url, grabbing all the information such as title, relevant texts and images. Is there any plugins I can use readily?
See this Native android plugin
You can do this way :
1)Create a user at https://www.linkpreview.net
2)Generate an Access Key.
3)From your code call
http://api.linkpreview.net/?key=<Your_API_KEY_From_Step_2>&q=https://www.google.com
It returns the meta tags in JSON as below :
{"title":"Google","description":"Search the world's information, including webpages, images, videos and more. Google has many special features to help you find exactly what you're looking for.","image":"http:\/\/www.google.com\/images\/branding\/googlelogo\/1x\/googlelogo_white_background_color_272x92dp.png","url":"https:\/\/www.google.com\/"}
4) Use it in flutter widget to create a preview.
Hope I'm not late to answer this question, There is a plugin for link with previews Rich link preview
Currently, there is not an open source library for flutter providing these meta tags for a website.
There is a temporal solution, using these freemium APIs for getting this information. The main drawback is that the requests are limited before paying.
I know I'm a bit late but I found a solution for that.
The comment of Sudip might work but if you have a lot of preview to generate, you will have to subscribe and pay..
I couldn't use the library rich_link_preview because of some depency issues (it requires http < 1.12.0).
So I had to do it myself. Writting the complete answer in this comment would be too long so I'll tell you how I did it.
I followed this youtube tutorial. If you are too lazy to watch the entire video you can look at his Github Repo. It worked for me and it is not too long (there are only 2 relevant files):
lib/link_preview.dart
lib/helper/fetch_preview.dart

Commits done to view the KMZ file on Openlayers3?

Before, I used Google Earth as a mapping but now I am trying to migrate to GE OpenLayers3.
commits can we do to show the KMZ file on Open layers3?
Be welcome to Openlayers. You can show KML on OL3 maps, so first unzip your KMZ and see the examples.
You need to unzip the KMZ with a library like zip.js, and then to use the KML format to read uncompress data.
You can find a working example for this purpose (caution: it's a kmz calling other kmz ;) )
I repeat here the warning here I have in my github repo
Demo depends from alerts provided by NOAA National
Weather Service at their Storm prediction center, so display can be
empty)
However, if demo does not show geometry, you can look the log in the console for learning purpose (KMZ uncompressed but just with no geometry)

PDF generation in XCode

I am a newbie in iPhone development. I am planning to do a PDF application for iPhone. The functionality is:
User will type their input in a text field (which is going to be the content of the PDF file).
I have to modify the PDF file through code while saving (paragraphs, tables, bullets etc).
User can save it in their own name.
User can send the PDF file as attachment of MFMailComposer.
So I have searched and got many links. However I didn't find any leading details to create and modify a PDF file in iPhone/iPad.
Can anyone please provide me a good reference to do this. Are there any alternatives to do this?
I've used this reference: https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/GraphicsImaging/Conceptual/drawingwithquartz2d/dq_pdf/dq_pdf.html
It contains theoretical explanations and source code examples
Please use the below link to download sample apps for PDF Reader/Viewer in iOS

Also please look at detail about pdf creation, manipulation etc in below links
developer.apple: PDF Document Creation, Viewing, and Transforming

If you were doing a Phonegap app I'd say got for jsPDF, which would enable you to create (basic) PDF files in Javascript. I don't do Obj-C, but a quick look on SO provides good links.

Attachments with article in joomla 1.6

I'm using joomla 1.6 to develop a website also i'm beginner to joomla. I need to attach one or more pdf files with the article. Any one can please help me to attach file with article and how to get this attachment in frontend. Please help any one how to do that. I tried with phoco download and attachments plugin. But i don't
One way to do this is to log into administration and edit your article in Content Items Manager. With the editor you can insert a link. When you do, click on Shared Documents and then upload the pdf you want to attach.
In your article, you need to use your insert/edit link, in the Link URL section enter the full link of where the pdf is found e.g. www.yourdomainname/images/myfile.pdf. It is always advised to open the pdf in a new window so you can set that in the insert/edit link. Hope this helps.
