I submited the app to for review...and i forgot to add the in app purchase for the version. Naturally the app was rejected for this reason.
Now my problem is this: I cannot add the in app purchase to this version because
In-App Purchases cannot be added to this version because it has
already been submitted for review. To manage your In-App Purchases, go
back to the App Summary page and click on the Manage In-App Purchases
button.
but i can't submit a new app version...because this version wasn't actually submited so i can update it.
Do i need to delete the app and readd it to iTunes Connect or is there a workaround this?
i found the solution here
It's basically:
Upload your binary
Wait until it's "Waiting for review"
Reject the binary yourself (app version > binary details >reject binary)
Wait until it's "Developer rejected"
Go add your in app purchases
Resubmit the binary

I'm sorry for asking this question once more.
I've found different replies but no one helped for me.
I'm trying to submit a brand new app to the app store but my app was rejected with the message:
We are unable to complete the review of your app because one or more of your in-app purchase products have not been submitted for review.
I created my in-app purchase and the status of this purchase os "ready to upload".
As I understood, I should create a new app version to submit this purchase but I don't have a "plus" icon which creates a new version.
I uploaded with XCode a new version (1.0.2).
Consequently, the app version changed in the app store connect, but the dialogue which allows me to add my in-app purchase hasn't shown.
How can I create a new version?
Help me, please.
I'm stuck.
I finally solved my issue.
The problem was with my in-app purchase.
I solved it by turning the content hosting off in the in-app purchase settings.
A few days ago, I uploaded the app on the iTunes store and forget to include the in app purchases with it. Now when I was going to re-upload the new binary the state of the in app was changed to waiting for review.
Question:
So my question is that do I have to upload the in app purchases again or do I have to upload a new binary ?
Any help appreciated.
Yes you have to reject binary and need to submit app including in-app purchase again. You cant add IAP once you pressed "Prepare for Upload".
You may follow the directions below to add the IAP to the app version before uploading.
Go to iTunes Connect
Click on Manage your applications
Click on the App
Click "View Details" button
Scroll down until you see an "In App Purchase" Section
Add your In App Purchase to that version.
Then ready your app for upload.
Once these steps are complete, the In App Purchase should automatically change from "Ready to Submit" to "Waiting for Review".
For more details, please check Apple about app statuses
I created an application for submission in Itunes Connect and assigned some in-app purchases to the application. I sent it for review and it was rejected. I got the reasons why it was rejected and also the following:
We have returned your IAP product/s to you as the required binary was not submitted. When you are ready to submit the binary, please resubmit the IAPs with the binary.
Now when I go to the Application Details page, I can edit the meta-data and screenshots and so on, but I find no way where to assign the in-app items to the application.
Any help?
This was useful for me:
Escaping iTunes Connect App Submission Rejected-Ready-Waiting Loop
Have to re-submit your app then go into the in-app purchase section and edit the language settings.
I recently developed an iOS app which has in-app purchase enabled.
After completion, I submitted to iTunnesConnect for review, and late on the application is ready for sale.
However, after downloading the app from AppStore, I found in-app purchase is not working. The erason is the in_app purchase is not appear in AppStore at all.
I log into iTunnesConnect and find the In-App-Purchase status is Red with message "Waiting for screenshot to review"
Then I submitted the screenshot and the status for InAppPurchase becomes Amber with status "Ready to Submit"
What I suppose to submit? The app is already alive in AppStore.
The message iTunesConnect give to me is
"Your first In-App Purchase(s) must be submitted with a new app version. Select them from the In-App Purchases section of the Version Details page and then click Ready to Upload Binary."
But the "Submit for Review" button is grey, not clickable.
I did some research and people are saying "Eject the app and submit again", which is not my case. My App is alive already, no option to eject.
Please advice.
Thank you.
Regards.
Create an updated version of your app in itunes connect. Rebuild and reupload your binary, even if you don't change anything. You will need to change your build number to resubmit the same binary. After this, go to your in app purchases page and you should be able to click submit for review. Then submit the whole app for review again, and they will approve your in app purchases when they review the whole app.
I have submitted an iphone app with in-app purchase But my Binary is rejected and I have got the following message from Apple
From Apple. Missing IAPs
We are unable to complete the review of your app since one or more of your In App Purchases have not been submitted for review.
Please be sure to take action and submit your In App Purchases AND upload a new binary in iTunes Connect. Learn more about submitting In App Purchases for review in the iTunes Connect Developer Guide.
Once you've submitted your In App Purchases and uploaded a new binary, we can proceed with your review.
My questions is Should i create a new binary and upload it or can i resubmit the binary which the In App Purchase has been rejected ?
looks like an old post but but making it more detailed because I myself faced it and made me searching multiple posts for actual steps.
First of all, you don't need to create a new binary because you just forgot to select In App purchases for review. Below are the steps how you can do this
Before making the Application "Ready to Upload" you need to select all the In App Purchases in Applicatin's Detail Page.
At iTunes Connect -> Click your application -> Click Edit -> scroll to bottom, you would see In App Purchase link, select the In Apps you want to make the part of your Application Submission Process. Once you are confirmed then change your product status to "Ready to Upload Binary"
If somehow you forgot to do that then there is only 1 way. Which is Reject and then Re Do the process I mentioned above.
you missed to submit the in app purchases for review . Now each of your in app must have its status as " Waiting For Review " . You can submit your binary and related in app purchases to the apple review process . You should create a new binary and submit it to the app store review process.Hope this helps.
Here is my case. All info is included in the reply to Apple.
Thanks very much for reviewing the app.
On IAP a few days before,
our Product Manager did not know in-app purchase products subscription well .
In order to get more free user,
he sent three months subscription for free to new registered users
by adjusting member date on the server side.
After a lot of querying,
we will use IAP App Store Promotions to get more free user,
instead of changing the member date simply on the server side.
We have completed in-app purchases,
and will upload a new binary in App Store Connect soon.
Subscription issue, not on the iOS client Side, but on the server side.
I replied. After a while, I see the place "to submit the in app purchase" in an iOS product on App Store once.
I handled, and it disappeared. Very interesting.
I have not seen the place "to submit the in app purchase" in an iPad product on App Store.
On App Store Reviewing Issue, honest communication is very important.
Yes, you should create a new binary and upload it.
You should do what Apple told you to do.
This is my case.
Firstly, you should add meta info to IAP products.
The meta info, is an image with its description.
Get it ready.
Then Apple will add IAP Add Options in the app version page, which is to be reviewed, after some time.
