SpriteWidget: App doesn't response to handleEvent in NodeWithSize

I created a widget, added some Sprites and made some animation. I want to add some user interaction but handelEvent method is not working. I already set userInteractionEnabled to true.
I tried debugging and place a breakpoint inside the handleEvent method but it didn't stop when I touched the screen.

How to trigger beforeSubmitCell event inside ondblClickRow event

I've a question related to jqgrid v4.15.4. I have used beforeSubmitCell event to return new array that will be posted to the server. Also I've kept options cellEdit: true , cellsubmit: 'remote'.
By default, if a jqGrid cell is editable, single click on that cell changes it to edit mode.Which I know can be done with ondblClickRow. But how can I call beforeSubmitCell event inside ondblClickRow event function.

If I correctly understand your problem, the you should don't use the option cellEdit: true (but still use cellsubmit: 'remote') and to set cellEdit: true dynamically before calling cell editing methods (editCell, restoreCell, saveCell, prevCell or nextCell). Additionally you will have to duplicate the keyboard operations (see the lines of free jqGrid code). The resulting code could look like the code below:

I have an issue with hiding text fields

I created a bar button item. Which will toggle 12 text fields' visibilty. I have tried the method below but even if I click the button while it's title is = Hide, It still calls the first method.

That is because (self.namesButton.title = #"Names") assign a value to the title and does not check it.
If you want to compare values in a if use == but you can not use the == from strings object.
The == compares the pointer of the object and it's value, thus for NSString compare you should use ([self.namesButton.title isEqualToString:#"Names"]) to check the string is equal.
Dont use = , use isEqualToString instead like following:
[self.namesButton.title isEqualToString:#"Names"]

How can I get this hittest to work

I'm creating a game where you as the player is holding a baseball bat and when you click the button you swing your bat. When you swing your bat you hit the enemy the enemy goes flying off in the opposite direction of where you hit them like a golf ball. I have done the moving and attacking function working but how can I register the hittest so it hits the enemy when facing towards it and the enemy going back. This is what I done so far:

When the character's direction changes, change a variable depending on the way they are now facing, for example; direction = 0 when they are facing down, 1 when they are facing right, etc. Then use this and the enemy's position to work out whether or not the enemy has been hit. For making the enemy fly back, you would get the character's direction to work out which way they would fly back. I would give some example code to help explain, but I'm on my tablet.

Actionscript3 ArgumentError: Error #2109:

Making a touch based platform game based in actionscript 3 using Gary Rosenzweig's game as a basis, all was going well until today, I've been trying to swap out floor objects etc without changing much of the actionscript at all and I have the following error.
ArgumentError: Error #2109: Frame label jump not found in scene jump.

The error is with the following line and is occurring because the referenced MovieClip does not have a frame labelled "jump":
char.mc.gotoAndStop(char.animstate);
My guess is that you made a change to the MovieClip which contains your character and, in doing so, removed the label which the code above references.
