How to include weekends in tfs 2012 preview? - tfs

Im working with TFS 2012 preview and my sprints include work on weekends, however tfs preview doesn't include weekends in it's sprint calculation.
How can I include weekends?

It is not currently possible to do this on Team Foundation Service (formally TFS Preview) as you are not able to customize the Process Template.
While the Product Team would love to provide this feature there is currently no time frame on implantation. This stems form the complexities in upgrading templates as the product moves forward and if you make changes they will no longer be able to upgrade it for you.
If you have an on-premises Team Foundation Server then you would be able to make this customization.
I would suggest that you make the request on: http://visualstudio.uservoice.com

Moving TFS projects between TFS Collections with labels & history using TFS 2015

I have a requirement of moving Team projects between two team project collections in TFS 2015. Also need the History & Label to be moved to the new collection.
I am aware there is no direct way of moving the project between collection along with history & label.
Can someone suggest a better way to handle it?
Thanks in Advance,
Dinesh
There is already a UserVoice for this request, and this feature is under plan:
We are committed to allow you to move team projects between
collections, although it’s currently not in scope for the 2016
calendar year. We’ll provide an updated timeline as we get closer to
2017.
An alternative, you can try with 3rd tools to move team projects, such as TFS Integration Tools, OpsHub. Please read the limitations before using the tools.

On-premise TFS 2015 web site: Missing TFS "Process"

Is it possible in TFS 2015 on-premise to modify a collections process templates? According to the article here, there should be a "process" tab on the web interface, collection administration page. This document is for 2015 but is a little old. Should this feature be available for 2015 on-premise upgrade 2? Am I missing a permission?
https://www.visualstudio.com/docs/work/customize/customize-work#team-projects-and-processes-team-services-
Just as the article mentioned, the settings are with VS Team Service. Team projects and processes (Team Services) And there is no “process” tab on the web interface for TFS2015.
Scroll down the page and you will see Team projects and process templates (TFS)
When you work with an on-premises TFS, you customize your work
tracking experience through one or more XML definition files. You can
start by customizing a process template and its XML definition files,
and then create a team project based on the template. Or, you can
simply make modifications as needed to add customizations to the work
item fields, work item types, and other objects that support tracking
work.

TFS 2013 Custom dashboard widget

I have been tasked with creating a custom planning view from TFS.
I have a reasonable amount of experience with the TFS Api but I want to try and avoid having to create and maintain a new application for this.
I have looked at SSRS for TFS but I am unable to access all of the data I need (tags etc.) so this is not an option (as it will invalidate support).
I would ideally like to create a "widget" to appear on one of the TFS dashboards but am not sure where to start. The widget would also need to allow access to the TFS api to gather the data it needs to generate.
Please can someone advise where I may look to start or an alternative approach.
You may want to take a look at http://integrate.visualstudio.com where you can find documentation for the TFS API. The REST API works for TFS 2015 and above.
While you can extend the web interface with Extensions (https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/) in Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), this feature is not yet available in TFS on-premises as of TFS 2015 Update 1.
You can check the published feature timeline for updates, but at this time extensions for TFS are marked as "TBD".
If you're working with TFS2013 + Update2 or a higher version of TFS, it is allowed for Team Administrators to customize TFS dashboard via pinning items to the homepage without writing any code.
For example, if you would like to add a chart into the dashboard, you just need to go to the query’s Charts page and pin it to the home page. See the following image (quoted from this MSDN article)

TFS Sprint change order Drag&Drop

I noticed that I can change the order of the PBIs of the current sprint on visualstudio.com via Drag&Drop. At work we use TFS 2013 on our own server (I think the newest version Update 4) and that's not possible. Both use the SCRUM template.
Is this a configuration issue? It would help a lot if this would work at our own TFS too. What should I do?
The features available in VSO are beyond that of TFS 2013 update 4. The feature that you are referring to is planned for TFS 2015.

For most customers, regardless of size, I recommend moving to VSO to get access to the latest and greatest features as they become available.

Adding notes to an iteration or release in Team Foundation Server 2010

My team and internal business customers often ask the start/end dates for sprints and the projected release date. Is there a way to attach a note to an iteration in TFS so that these dates can be published and/or queried?
Take a look at the following links which describe how to set start and end dates to your sprints and be able to track these dates. Also, check out the new Microsoft Visual Studio Scrum 1.0 process templates. It may have the ability to add notes or more information to your iterations since it has a sprint work item type. TFS 2012 has the type of functionality you mentioned as well.
