WebView like in Tweetro - webview

I would like to create an effect like the one that is available in Tweetro. In this program, when I show the timeline and select a tweet that contains an URL, a portion of a WebView appears on the right. When I click on it, the WebView extends on the left and becomes navigable. Then, if I click out of the WebView area, it returns on the right.
How is it possible to achieve this effect in a Windows Store App with C#?

Can you not host the webview and all other controls inside a grid and then change the width of the grid column/web-view as required? You can use animation to smooth out the change to give a slide effect.

How to add an clickable button on top of a MapView in Delphi FireMonkey?

I need to add a clickable button with a custom image on top of the TMapView, is this possible?
ps: even if I leave the TImage on top of the view, the map overlays it, that is, the button appears quickly until the map rendering overlays it...
edit ps2: There is no code for the example, I simply put a TImage on the Form, either as a child of TMapView, or as a child of TForm, when I test it on android, when opening the app the image appears quickly before the map and then when the map starts to appear it overlays the image...
edit ps3: I don't know if a TImage is the correct way to do this, is this any component to leave on top of the map, that keeps showing up, serving as a button? Just like on Google Maps...
You can't show anything on TMapView because of "z-order" problem. I looked for while to find a solution.

Need Vaadin navigation control with two arrows on left and right like on passed link

I am extremely new to Vaadin, and I don't know all controls, I tried to google but didn't find type of control. My question is which is control visible on this link
http://demo.vaadin.com/sampler/#foundation/cssinject
which is used for navigation (left and right arrow buttons on left and right side of screen which you press to change content in middle or something like this doesn't exist in vaadin by default and this is in jquery ?) ?
I need to implement this, to change content on click, to allow user to iterate through shopping cart like this.
They are probably just buttons. Imagine 3 columns Button | Content | Button
Button.onclick -> Load Content
I use this carousel add-on which does that. Buttons are bigger but can be changed using css.
It has a nice transition effect, sliding left and right.

Popup with overlay, popup fill window?

Would like to use a popup(jquery mobile) with content and make it fill the screen. Also with overlay.
Like this, scroll down to bottom, Overlay set to A button.
http://jquerymobile.com/branches/popup-widget/docs/pages/popup/index.html
But I want the popup to fill almost the entire screen. This should act as a new page but be filled with ajax content, I will fix this later...
How can I do this?
jQuery Mobile will not size a popup or dialog larger than needed to contain the rendered content. If you really want to fill the page, go with a new page. Consider transitioning to a new page with a pop transition instead.
http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.2.0/docs/pages/page-transitions.html
You might also consider a dialog as it obscures the underlying page content

Alignment of the TabBarControls in a TabSet

we're using smartGWT for our web application. An the main page is a tabset that shows different tabs. What I want to do is do a button to the tab set with the setTabBarControls method which then is alligned to the left instead to the right. So it would somewhat look like the current Firefox version.
Is there a possibility to change the allignment of the TabBarControls? I couldn't find any.
If you want to create something like the Firefox corner button, just use TabSet.addChild(). That will place the button at the upper left, and you can use setLeft/setTop to move it elsewhere. If you want the control to appear to the left of the tabs, set a layoutStartMargin on the TabBar to leave space for it.

What UI element might this be? (Custom tab-bar?)

The above is a link basically showing the form fill view of the numbers app on the iPad. Any idea as to how to achieve such a functionality which sort of looks like our vanilla tabs on Chrome?
You could do it with just buttons set to Custom type and using an image for the background. Then when they are clicked, bring the specific UIView to the front.
To create the tabs from a single image use UIImage's stretchableImageWithLeftCapWidth: topCapHeight:
http://tcninja.blogspot.com/2010/09/ios-adding-stretchable-uiimage-as.html
This will let you dynamically set the image's width in a way that will use the middle of it to fill the new area rather than stretching (and warping) the outer edges.
I would have implemented this with simple UIButtons. All you need to do is to style them (pngs or whatever), and track which one is the current.
