I have Jenkins on master machine (Windows) connected with node on Ubuntu machine (Ubuntu 12.04). They had been running together fine for some months, but a pair weeks ago I started to encounter problems with particular Rails project which tests should be run on Ubuntu machine. It started to require some rb-readline gem although it was already installed.
So I decided to move the /var/lib/jenkins/.rvm directory to other location to force RVM to be reinstalled. Then I removed RVM plugin from Jenkins and added it again. After all this I made it reinstall RVM, but now it can't perform any tasks in RVM environment. If I uncheck the "Run the build in a RVM-managed environment" option, the task could be completed without errors (if I remove specific build steps), but with this option set it cannot run even simple echo test command.
I returned the moved .rvm directory back to /var/lib/jenkins/, but this didn't help to get everything back.
Here is the error message (you will probably ask about /var/lib/jenkins/workspace/my-project directory - yes, it EXISTS):

There is another Jenkins instance installed directly on this Ubuntu machine and if I run the build of this project, It gives me an output as the corrupted Jenkins instance gave before: Please 'gem install rb-readline' or recompile ruby --with-readline but does not complain about Java. So, on the Ubuntu site everything seems to be not corrupted.

Do You ever have problem like that with Jenkins?
What i should to do?
I can't use install automatically and should talk to Jenkins admin about path to xvfb executable?
I am getting the following error while trying to build an application.
It worked properly from long time, recently it stopped the build process and throws the error. The configuration of the build uses slave node, In google many suggested that the issue may related to the Java version issues in slave node and the selected version in jenkings configuration section.

Check if docker is running? Try restarting the docker daemon. That should do the trick! Alternatively try setting the docker environment in every command line shell:
eval "$(docker-machine env default)"
where default is the name of the docker machine that you created. Make sure to replace with the one that you created.
Next, try giving the current user docker previliges:
sudo usermod -aG docker $USER

Git : revision control system
Phabricator : Code Review
Jenkins : for Continuous Integration and running builds.
Plugins : Phabricator differential, windows slaves plugin
Jenkins setup has a linux master , and windows & Mac Slaves. I also have Phabricator Differential enabled on the projects , and arcanist installed on all the Jenkins Nodes.
While Running Windows Projects, the build fails with the following error message that says it can not find arc in the specified folder.I m however able to run arc from the folder manually, I have made sure that the environment variables are set properly.Has anyone run into this issue before ?

As mentioned by Anders, the log is indicating Cannot run program "sh". When you run arc on the box, are you running it from Windows Command Prompt or are you opening a linux-like shell.
For example, when I need to run arc commands on Windows, while logged in, I usually launch Git Bash, which does have a version of sh. However, to get that machine up and going as a build server with arc, I needed to install Cygwin and make Jenkins run the script in there.
I hope this helps.
