Incorporating an image in the rich-ui treeview - grails

I am using the Rich-UI plugin treeview feature in a Grails application. I have it working but was trying to see how to incorporate a pdf icon/image in the treeview to identify to the user they can launch a pdf from the link. Can someone explain to me how to place an image in the treeview? Any help with file names, etc would be greatly appreciated.

iOS - Is there a way to generate a PDF file with layers?

Quick question, that I haven't found a solid answer yet.
Is it possible to generate a PDF in iOS that includes layers, which can then be removed/separated in Photoshop?
What I'm trying to achieve is take a picture with the camera of the phone, then place text over it, submit it as pdf to a customer and then have the customer read the text and remove it.
I can do everything except the layering of the pdf and I have found some hints that this isn't possible to do with the standard iOS library, but I wanted to know if anyone has come across this before.
Thank you.
The standard iOS API for creating PDF files cannot create layers (optional content) in a PDF page.
This library IFXPDFFactory seems to be able to generate PDF files with layers.
PoDoFo and libHaru can also be used to generate PDF files on iOS but I do not know if they support layers.

Grails Export Plugin - Embed Image

I've got the grails export plugin working nicely but is there any way of embedding an image in the produced pdf report? I cant find an obvious way of doing it :(
many thanks
Tom
Why would you require to put an image when export plugin only talks about domain object. If you are looking for generating report which has images and other html stuff, I think itext library is the way forward.
Thanks, KJ

Exporting primefaces:Tree to pdf

I have a tree structure displayed on my webpage. The nodes are dynamically created from the data retrieved from the database. I want the entire tree(exlpoded view) to be exported to a pdf file. How can I achieve this using a java library? I am using JSF2.1 with primefaces 3.5. Any help would be appreciated.
I had similar problem and I found this "plug-in", check it out: https://github.com/rdicroce/jsfexporter

PDF generation in XCode

I am a newbie in iPhone development. I am planning to do a PDF application for iPhone. The functionality is:
User will type their input in a text field (which is going to be the content of the PDF file).
I have to modify the PDF file through code while saving (paragraphs, tables, bullets etc).
User can save it in their own name.
User can send the PDF file as attachment of MFMailComposer.
So I have searched and got many links. However I didn't find any leading details to create and modify a PDF file in iPhone/iPad.
Can anyone please provide me a good reference to do this. Are there any alternatives to do this?
I've used this reference: https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/GraphicsImaging/Conceptual/drawingwithquartz2d/dq_pdf/dq_pdf.html
It contains theoretical explanations and source code examples
Please use the below link to download sample apps for PDF Reader/Viewer in iOS

Also please look at detail about pdf creation, manipulation etc in below links

If you were doing a Phonegap app I'd say got for jsPDF, which would enable you to create (basic) PDF files in Javascript. I don't do Obj-C, but a quick look on SO provides good links.

Attachments with article in joomla 1.6

I'm using joomla 1.6 to develop a website also i'm beginner to joomla. I need to attach one or more pdf files with the article. Any one can please help me to attach file with article and how to get this attachment in frontend. Please help any one how to do that. I tried with phoco download and attachments plugin. But i don't
One way to do this is to log into administration and edit your article in Content Items Manager. With the editor you can insert a link. When you do, click on Shared Documents and then upload the pdf you want to attach.
In your article, you need to use your insert/edit link, in the Link URL section enter the full link of where the pdf is found e.g. www.yourdomainname/images/myfile.pdf. It is always advised to open the pdf in a new window so you can set that in the insert/edit link. Hope this helps.
