what can be done now? acctually i want to download and use talk a tone application but not able to do so.
Whited00r include iOS5 features in a modified iOS3, so it isn't a real iOS5 and you can't install iOS5 apps

I want to share files/data from my iOS app to other devices (ios and android), which have the application installed, through wireless communication. Is it possible? Please help me.
iBeacon is not for file sharing, for more information check this link
And about file sharing between Android and iOS via Bluetooth it has asked before here
But you can write an App that enables file sharing between iOS devices quite simple. Check MultiPeer Connectivity Framework
Also there are new technologies but I don't have enough information about them.

Dumb Question:
I just downloaded the new version of Xcode Version 5.0 (5A11365j), and when I build an new Iphone app and go to
Products -> Destination -> Iphone ->
I see only iOS6 + iOS5.
Where the hell is iOS7???
I know that iPhone 4/4s are going to support iOS7, where is the simulator for it?
Thanks
UPDATE: I have attached an image for those that dont believe me
The problem I'm seeing is that you're selecting "iPhone", which I believe corresponds to the non-retina simulator which doesn't have support for iOS 7. You have to run in one of the retina simulators.

My Friend is trying to sell off some of his old tech and I'm thinking of buying his iPod touch 2G for development purposes, is it still supported in any way (i.e. will I find any dev kits that will build to it)?
Using a 2nd gen iPod touch is only useful if you wish to download old versions of Xcode and you only want to learn 2-year old iOS app development.
If you want to learn modern iOS development then you need an iOS device that runs iOS 6.0 or later. This requires at least a 4th gen iPod touch, iPad 2, or iPhone 3GS.

I'm new to iOS developement and I 'm doing ok so far, however I am still trying to find a way to send an application to the device via wifi. My device is jailbroken and iTunes can sync over wifi, but there's no way I can make xcode to see it.
Any chance that I can upload and perhaps debug over wifi? I don't want to send the application with ssh manually.
Maybe this could help you a bit. Look at this similar post:
How do I build and install applications on a jailbroken iPhone without being in the iPhone Developer Program?
But I think running and debugging is not possible in xcode over wifi!

What would be the consequences of Jailbreaking my iOS device as a developer?
What are some of the benefits, and what are some of the issues with Jailbreaking as a developer?
How would this effect Xcode when "paired" with my iPod?
(Should I ask this on Stackoverflow?)
Jailbreaking has become legal some time ago. So from that point of view, no worries.
If you have an untethered jailbreak on your iPod (and even if you have a tethered one), pairing should not prove a problem.
The true upside is that, in the case your app does not meet the Apple requirements, you could always release it as a jailbreak app in the cydia store.
