Blackberry Messanger desktop client - blackberry

I would like to develop a Blackberry Messanger desktop client, something similar to Fixmo Web Messenger but open source. The idea is to connect the smartphone via USB or Wi-Fi and use BBM from the computer.
Does anybody know any library or documentation to connect to BBM?
EDITED:
I found this, https://developer.blackberry.com/devzone/appworld/bbm. I'll see if it helps.

It is not possible to do this currently using the present BBM APIs.

The best thing to do, is to use an emulator. You can check your website in a Blackberry very easily following this guide for an Blackberry emulator. Using Google and you'll find emulators for Android and iOS as well.
Hope I could help you.

How to detect the version of Blackberry Messenger installed on a device from a Webworks App

I'm working on a BlackBerry WebWorks app that connects to the Blackberry Messenger Platform. However, a user's device must have at least BBM v6 before a webworks app can connect to the BBM platform on such device.
Now, the challenge is, I need to be able to know the version of BBM running on the user's device so I can display an appropriate message telling the user to upgrade if the user does not meet the BBM platform requirement.
How do I go about this?
Thanks in advance.
If you want to know the version of the BBM installed in the Device. Look at the BBMProxyDemo within the BBM SDK it shows how to get this info.

BlackBerry BBM service making use of our own BES after integrating with our app

I am integrating BlackBerry Messenger into our BlackBerry application. We would like the integrated messenger to make use of our own BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
Is it possible, or does BBM always make use of the BES associated with the device?
I don't have any BES experience, but it would be really fishy if third-party apps could force the device to associate with a different BES, so I would guess RIM does not allow the behavior you want.

Do I need to have a BIS or BES service in order to use MapField in the code?

I am trying to learn about MapField in Blackberry and I need to know that wheter I need to have a BIS or BES service in order to use MapField. I can use the MapFiel while using the simulator but when I read some forums I saw some people wrote that people need to have BIS or BES to show the MapField. Is it true or not ?
Thank you all...
You need to have a BIS conection, so you should run the MDS emulator to have the BIS server emulation on your computer, this will work for your mobile simulator. The MDS emulator can be downloaded at blackberry official web page at developement tools.
