If i have installed SQL Server 2008 and Office 2010, which data mining add-in should i choose? I found
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Data Mining Add-ins for Microsoft Office 2007
and
Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012 Data Mining Add-ins for Microsoft® Office® 2010
The Office 2010 add-in should work with 2008. I installed it with 2008 and did not run into any problems. However, I strongly recommend upgrading your SQL Server to 2012 since there are additional business intelligence benefits with 2012.

I have an access to TFS 2012 but I can only use Visual Studio Express for Windows Desktop for the moment. Will I encounter problems besides the limitations of the express edition?
VS Express doesn't include a CAL for TFS. You will have to purchase a CAL separately if you wish to be legal. But other than that there should be no limitations.
Does Team Foundation 2013 support lower version like SQL Server 2008 R2
If not, is there any way?
No it does not support SQL 2008 R2.
Team Foundation Server requires SQL Server 2012 with Service Pack 1 or
the next version of SQL Server.
You can check the requirements here (SQL) and here (OS).
I very much doubt there is a workaround as Microsoft will have built upon SQL 2012 server and language features.
I am using Visual Studio 2005 to work with Sharepoint 2007. I need sharepoint extension (VSSExtension for VS 2005).Tried in google but dint get any download link.
Can anybody post the link here
Thanks in advance
I typed sharepoint extensions for visual studio 2005 into Google and the first result is:
Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Tools: Visual Studio 2005 Extensions, Version 1.1
Tools for developing custom SharePoint applications: Visual Studio project templates for Web Parts, site definitions, and list definitions; and a stand-alone utility program, the SharePoint Solution Generator.
Has any found an easy way to synchronize requirements stored in CaliberRM with requirement work items in TFS 2010? In the past, Borland produced an add-in to CaliberRM to do so. But, the current version only supports TFS 2008 and we were told that there is no plans to support TFS 2010. I think I might have to write my own synchronizer, but I'm hoping I don't have to re-invent the wheel.
If CaliberRM supports TFS 2008 then you probably just install Team Explorer 2008 and the Forward Compatibility update and let CaliberRM use the old TFS 2008 API calls to talk to the TFS 2010 server.
We have a TFS 2008 server that we are using for source control having migrated away from VSS :D This is great for all our web projects as they can all be migrated to VS2008.
My problem is that VS2008 doesn't support development of SQL2005 SSIS packages.
It is possible to check SSIS packages into TFS2008 from VS2005? Would this conflict with the VS2008 install on the same workstation?
Thanks in advance....
Looks like you'll be fine if you install Team Explorer 2005 onto Visual Studio 2005.
Out of the box, Team Explorer 2005 works very well with most of the TFS 2008 capabilities. Work Item Tracking and Version Control function the same as they always had for TFS 2005. End users wouldn't even notice the difference, except in some rare cases the increased performance.
