hudson severe collision detected - ant

Iam working on server where hudson sits and i run it thru command prompt, when am working with old credentials(for logging into server not for hudson) i didn't exit hudson,and admin shutdown the server, when my admin changed the credentials to log into with server with my new account credentials (previously am logging with some other account credentials), i logged with new credentials and restarted the hudson server using command prompt but in the command console the hudson is giving the error as
"SEVERE: COLLISION DETECTED timestamp='122324..', expected='111...'"
But its running the projects, building it but its status is not shown in the command console,
is this as hudson is treating as two users?
whats the error, and how it can be solved?
please help me out, and please excuse me for my bad explanation.

Sounds like you are running two instances of Hudson on the same box (maybe as different users).
It is more a Server Administration issue (Windows or Unix) than a Hudson problem.

DevOps Server 2019.0.1 (Azure DevOps Error - TF30063: You are not authorized to access tfs.)

After updating from TFS 2018 v3 to DevOps Server 2019.0.1 last weekend I now receive this authentication error when attempting to manage security:
TF30063: You are not authorized to access tfs.
I receive this error when attempting to manage security from the Server Administration Console via Application Tier > Administer Security. I also receive the error when I attempt to set permissions via tfssecurity cli tool. I am in the local administrator group and I am listed in the console administration user section.
I'm trying to set permissions because after the update I received several reports from employees that receive errors when they try to access their projects. Those errors are:
TF40049: You do not have licensing rights to access this feature: Code.

This error reoccurred when I upgraded from 2019 to 2020 RC1. The difference is, this upgrade required a migration of the server- since server requirements changed for the new version of DevOps Server.
I spent 8 hrs working through this issue yesterday, and this is what fixed our problem:
deleted DevOps server cache. (location of cache listed in devops admin console on server)
reboot server.
I deleted the cache off the server based on an article I read with the same error, a user was having security/permissions issues with visual studio and they deleted the vs cache on their local machine and it solved their problem. I don't know if deleting the cache or the reboot would have fixed it independently because I did them both as a single troubleshooting step.

After upgrading again, I have ran into the same issue and this does not fix my error anymore. I've tried deleting the server cache, rebooting, reapplying permissions, configuring a new service account, reapplying changes, rebooting again, etc. I still have not found a solution for this error. I cannot schedule backups through the supplied backup scheduler without permissions to manage security settings through the configuration panel.

Why is Web Deploy using the wrong account?

I've verified that Web Deploy works (using NTLM authorization) when I fire it from Visual Studio on my local machine. Now I want my build server to auto-deploy (if appropriate) every night. I'm using Jenkins on the build server, and I've granted the account access in IIS on the remote machine. My parameters to MSBuild are as follows:
/p:DeployOnBuild=true
/p:Configuration=Debug
/p:Platform=x86
/p:PublishProfile=DEV
/p:AuthType=NTLM
/p:AllowUntrustedCertificate=True
/p:Username=
The DEV publish profile specifies my DEV server which uses a self-signed certificate thus necessitating an untrusted certificate. The NTLM and blank username should use the current user/account to connect.
However, the Jenkins' job's MSBuild step fails with this error

When I look at the IIS logs on DEV-SERVER, I see the following:

I was expecting to see CO\jenkins, the account Jenkins is running under, instead of CO\BUILD-SERVER$. (And what's with the $ on the end?) Am I correct in thinking the wrong account is being used? What do I need to do to get this working?
CO\BUILD-SERVER$ is the machine account of your build server.
If you have a slave running on that machine, is it running as a windows service? If so it's probably running as "System"
Also re Selenium tests, if the tests are running on the build server then the service may need to set to run interactively so that the tests can run against a UI.

How do I view the Jenkins server console output on the local filesystem?

I'm using the Jenkins Active Directory plug-in and can't log in after several attempts.
The error message says:
If you are a system administrator and suspect this to be a configuration problem, see the server console output for more details.
Where can I find the server console output (on the local filesystem)?
I presume that it is accessible from the Jenkins web pages, but since I can't log in, that's not much use. I can log in to the (Windows) server where Jenkins is installed - where are they on the server?
The console output you are looking for are not accessible from Jenkins. If you have installed Jenkins as a service, when that service is started three files are created in JENKINS_HOME: jenkins.err.log, jenkins.out.log, and jenkins.wrapper.log. The relevant ones for you are jenkins.err.log and jenkins.out.log.
If you used the default location you can find them in C:\Program Files (x86)\Jenkins.
In more recent versions you can tail the logs under $JENKINS_HOME/support/all_[date].log. It outputs all relevant information when you're modifying settings on the Web console and such.

Getting 502 bad request after deploying Play 2.1.0 app to Cloudbees

I tried to deploy a Play app to Cloudbees (only via push to git repo from which it is built by jenkins), it compiled and should work but I get a "502 Bad Gateway" error when loading the app. There is no error shown in the console only that it answers "502 Bad Gateway" when trying to access it. But that's what I see in the browser, too.
Cloudbees say that there is no other manipulation necessary, just cloning/pulling the ClickStart-Project, making it you application and pushing it back. The Play project works fine locally.
I am very grateful for any help. Please let me know if I need to provide any other information. Thanks a lot!
Edit: It works fine with Heroku only adding a Procfile. I don't get the problem with Cloudbees...
In this case the error is due to the database needing evolutions to be run before it can start:

You can also deploy direct from your desktop if you like:

And it will push direct to your app (if you don't want a continuous deployment pipeline).

MSDeploy WMSVC is not working in .net environment

I have a build/test server which is currently running Jenkins for my continuous integration and it also is acting as my test server where code will be deployed to once built (i hope to rectify this and seperate these at a later date when budget allows)
I have a .NET web solution (nothing complex just Umbraco essentially) that i have in SVN and Jenkins is now building correctly. I now want to deploy it onto the same server using MSDeploy. After the build completes the package is generated but the deploy fails with the error
ERROR_DESTINATION_NOT_REACHABLE: Web deployment task failed. (Could not connect to the remote computer ("xxxxx.xxxxxxx.xxx.xxxx"). On the remote computer, make sure that Web Deploy is installed and that the required process ("Web Management Service") is started
Here is my msbuild parameters that Jenkins uses

I've checked the server and the Web Management Service is running and is starting up manually
I've also gone into IIS 8 manager (server 2012) and checked the "Allow Remote Connections" box under "Management Service". Restarted IIS and the WMSVC and still not working.
If i go to https://myserver.co.uk:8172/MsDeploy.axd in a browser it resolves (gives you the warning about an untrusted cert) and then displays a blank page.
Anyone got any ideas as to what i can do? I thought that it may be firewall related and even though it had added an exception to windows firewall for 8172 i have turned the entire firewall off to completely rulle that out and still no luck.
Have run this on the server to check its listening on the correct port

Ok i've resolved this. It appears you have to activate the web management service first and then install web deploy and i'd done it the other way round. I uninstalled WebDeploy and re-installed it, restarted the server and its working

We had a similar issue. Initial installation even post Web Management Service activation appeared to be incomplete. In our case, even though the service said it was started we couldn't achieve the "green tick" when testing the connection from the Publish dialog when defining a profile.
Reinstalling WebDeploy 3.6 made it function properly.
