Show Lync precense indicator (with popup) in asp.net mvc application - asp.net-mvc

How can I add Lync indicator to my web application (intranet, all users have lync running)?
I found this link
involes creating a silverligh app
does not seem to provide popup functionality
Any other options?
I was thinking this was pretty straight forward, just downloading some library and adding a lync class do a div with the email, but it does not look like that's the case. Maybe I'm missing something
Thanks for any help

If you have Sharepoint rolled out anywhere in your organisation, you can use this trick to show presence easily (by leveraging the sharepoint functionality).

How to block urls on a web view using Swift

I need to block a certain part of the website from the web view because Apple will not approve that part of the website. How do I code it to block those urls and just stay on the current page?
(I am developing the application for a company and I am not their website developer and their guy is not very responsive so I cannot just remove the hyperlinks.)
Thank you for your help!
There are two solution.
One is to prevent it in UIWebViewDelegate function webView:shouldStartLoadWithRequest:navigationType.
Another is that server control this web show when it is really online. This will cheat Apple to pass your APP.

TFS custom bug entry page for non technical users?

To help my company better adopt using TFS i'd like to see if a custom web page could be made so the end user has no idea they're entering a bug into TFS. They find the TFS2012 web based GUI confusing. They are business users and able to write out a problem in a web app, the reproduction steps and expected result but they always forget to set certain fields which makes their entries not show up in my query.
I figured creating a custom web page that inserts the bug into TFS would help. Anyone know if this is possible?
You need to develop a web page which uses TFS API to create a bug. Please see below link which has sample code to create bugs using API.

How do I add code in Salesforce 1?

I am a beginner in the Salesforce 1 platform. I started this internship and I am being asked to create a jQuery Mobile app in Salesforce 1. I have learned how to build the app, but I am lost as to how to add code to it. I am a beginner developer being asked to recreate a Mobile app that is more for someone with more experience. I am not going to give up, because I know this is a good learning experience for me. The Salesforce resources have not been helpful to me. Can you help me try to figure out how to get started with this? Do I connect the app to a Salesforce page or is there another developing tool I am missing? Also I cannot add the jQuery Mobile library to be able to get my code to work. How does that app connect to the code? I am confused how the objects and fields relate to the code I write for the app. Help!
Just create a VF page, create a tab and assign the VF page to that tab. The VF page should be "Mobile Ready" i.e. you should check the checkbox when you create the VF page. For jQuery libraries, you have to add them as static resources.
Please let me know in case you need more help.
Yes. the other user is correct. Upload the "min" version of the jQuery as a static resource to invoke jQuery on your Visualforce page.
As for designing mobile apps on the Salesforce platform, you need to know quite a bit:
MVC model in Salesforce
Apex, SOQL, SOSL
Visualforce controllers
Visualforce
HTML and DOM
CSS
JavaScript
Possibly the Mobile SDK for Salesforce
Possibly Canvas for Salesforce
Possibly XML for Flexipages
If you look on developer.salesforce.com, you'll find learning resources for all of these topics. There's even a workbook for you: http://www.salesforce.com/us/developer/docs/salesforce1/salesforce1_guide.pdf.
Google's browser offers a mobile emulator for iOS so that developers can develop on one platform and test on many platforms. Its is difficult to use though, imho. It has quite a learning curve.

Microsoft msdn links for Xbox not working anymore

I'm developing for the Xbox with XNA currently, but when I click on several links to the official Microsoft site, e.g. tutorials and files, then I get redirected to this page:
http://forums.create.msdn.com/forums/t/19992.aspx
For example by clicking this link:
http://create.msdn.com/en-US/education/catalog/sample/skinned_model
Anyone having the same problems with the official Microsoft site currently?
Yes. Microsoft are aware of this issue - although I'm not privy to any information about when/if they will fix it.
Basically, as part of the move to Windows Phone 8, they've separated out the Xbox and Phone development stuff.
If you come across old links like that, you can usually repair them by hand by changing the domain like so:
forums.create.msdn.com becomes xboxforums.create.msdn.com (change the subdomain)
And
create.msdn.com becomes xbox.create.msdn.com (add a subdomain)
Yes.
It'd be like this for a month now. It seems to suggest they are trying to downplay XNA for Windows 8 development which is saddening! You could always use Google's caching service to view the pages if you are finding them from Google... I don't think this will work for downloads though!

How to show a list of sites the current user can access?

I'm working on MOSS 2007 and I want to build a sharepoint webpart that can list all the sites (in the same SPfarm) visible to the current user. What I can think of is:
Use FullTextSqlQuery class to search for the sites, but is it possible;
Build an external application that crawls the user-sites information by using the Sharepoint Object-Model. The webpart can then use this information.
Is there any simple solution?
Any idea will be appreciated. Thanks!
Please take a look here: Talk to SharePoint Through its Web Services at "Example 3"
You'll need to write some managed (.net) code.
SharePoint creates site maps by default. Unless you have turned this off, you can get one from a site by appending /_layouts/viewlsts.aspx to the site URL.
