Developing spring action in corona - coronasdk

I am trying to develop a spring which has its one end attached to a static roof and the other end has a body with mass m attached to it.
Whenever I drag the load(body attached to spring) the spring must also get displaced from its mean position and must behave like a real spring, after few oscillations it must come back to initial position.
Now I have developed a spring using a few rectangles which are joined using a pivot joint, a load is also attached using the pivot joint. Here when I drag the load, the spring oscillates from left to right like a pendulum and not like a real spring. I want oscillation up and down and not left to right.

Konva object snapping with transformer jitters

I'm trying to make an editor using Konva.js.
In the editor I show a smaller draw area which becomes the final image. For this I'm using a group with a clipFunc. This gives a better UX since the transform controls of the transformer can be used "outside" of the canvas (visible part for the user) and allow the user to zoom and drag the draw area around (imagine a frame in Figma).
I want to implement object snapping based on this: https://konvajs.org/docs/sandbox/Objects_Snapping.html. (just edges and center for now) However I want it to be able to work when having multiple elements selected in my Transformer.
The strategy I'm using is basically calculating the snapping based on the .back element created by the transformer. When I know how much to snap I apply it to every node within the transformer.
However when doing it, the items starts jittering when moving the cursor close to the snapping lines.
My previous implementation was having the draw area fill the entire Stage, which I did manage to get working with the same strategy. (no jitter)
I don't really know what the issue is and I hope some of you guys can point me in the right direction.
I created a codepen to illustrate my issue: https://codesandbox.io/s/konva-transformer-snapping-1vwjc2?file=/src/index.ts

Isometric Depth Sorting With SpriteKit

I am making a relatively simple isometric map using SpriteKit. I've tried both using the editor as well as creating it through code, and each time, it seems to have some "weighting" between the various tiles even though they should overlap gracefully given that I'm just setting the styling of a tile.
Here is an example of me using the tiles from https://kenney.nl. The green is just a standard grass patch and the road is the same exact size as it.
When I create this map in the XCode UI or if i iterate through in code and paint them, this continues to occur.
However, if I was to do something like flip the tiles around and paint it all with roads with grass in the middle, it then seems to sort whichever tile there are "more of" like in this example:
If i go and make more of one tile group over another, it seems to overpower it.
So my question is, how can I keep them from using this behavior? I've tried different tilemaps together, nested them inside of eachother etc... But at the end of the day, I cant get different tiles to exist at the same "plane". I've tried with code, the UI, etc. I'd like to use the SKTileMap if possible to use the downstream features as opposed to doing all of the math myself, like in the approach in this article (http://bigspritegames.com/isometric-tile-based-game-part-1/)

Select AR placed objects with a dot in the middle of the screen in Unity

I have seen numerous AR application behaving like this: there is a dot in the middle of the screen and we can position that dot on some objects and some content is displayed (I attacked an image if i was not clear enough). My question is how is this kind of behaviour obtained in Unity, my guess is that from that point you cast a ray, but I don't think that AR placed objects, from an ADF for example, can be found with the hit from that ray. The dot selecting objects placed on AR
I have made it work, with the aid of the Google Tango's Area Learning demo scene. I've placed some objects in the area and I have started to send a Raycast from the middle of the camera with "ViewportPointToRay" method. When that Ray would collide with a GameObject you can implement whatever functionality you need.

What are the ways to create a custom shape touch detection?

Hi I'm making a baseball app and I want from users to input strike zone on a grid like this:
How can I build the visual part so that I won't have too much trouble with implementation of a tap gesture recogniser. It'll be great if I can make this resizable so it will look great on many different devices.
With the touch gesture I need to handle so kind of recognizing position in two ways.
In which section the touch was detected.
What are the approximate coordinates inside this section.
This data will be saved on a cloud and can be later used to show the dot on this grid on other devices.
Is there a way to detect touch in a non rectangular shapes? Maybe with Bezier Paths.
Do you have a suggestion how ti appear on screen without using whole grid as a image. I'd rather divide it in Outer grid and the Inner grid somehow and than create all the pieces in each of this grids. 8 pieces in outer and 9 in inner grid.
You can start with UIBezierPath and its method containsPoint:, although this method "does not take into account the line width used to stroke the path." (link), it is also true for UIBezierPath.

Moving around the planet in sprite kit

I'm currently making a game where driving a moon lander across the terrain of alien planets. The lander is free moving so you can turn any direction you like.
I've got a camera centred on the player's vehicle and navigation is working well, however...
As the player approaches the horisontal sides (x) of the map I'd like the map to display continuously.
I've used a couple of different approaches so far; I've added an identical sprite as the map to the left of the map and created a method that moves the extended map to the right side if you approach that side instead, and I've also tested with two different extended maps, one for left and one for right. I've then setup physics for the extended maps and changed the landers position from one side of the map to the other as it collides with the extended maps.
My issue is that I'd like to have my enemies spawning and walking around the main map and as you approach the side you will of course not see the enemies on the other side of the map - you'd only see the extended map with no contents.
My preference would be for the world to "bend" so that as you approach the left edge you'd automatically see the right edge and vice versa. I have no idea whether this is even feasible so any suggestions are much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
I'm not sure I understand your question. Maybe this will further discussion, anyhow.
If you are looking for a scrolling behavior then I would have two backgrounds (or more if you want a wider scrolling field) and your method for swapping the tiles around to make the background feel continuous, use the "camera" tracking technique and shown in Apple's sprite kit demo to follow your player (which it sounds like you are doing). Then when aliens move offscreen in either direction relocate them in the same way that you would swap out your background tile(s) with something like position.x += widthOfBackgroundTile.
