I am working from this example: http://jqueryui.com/demos/autocomplete/#remote and I am encoding the output like this:
$rows = array();
while($r = mysql_fetch_assoc($category_result))
{
$rows[] = $r;
error_log ("rows: ".$rows[0]);
}
echo json_encode($rows);
But the dropdown on the other side shows nothing. Here is my test page: http://problemio.com/test.php - if you enter "ho" it matches 2 results in the database, but they are not getting displayed for some reason. Any idea why?
Thanks!!
The properties should be named label and value. From the JQuery UI demo page you linked to:
The local data can be a simple Array of Strings, or it contains
Objects for each item in the array, with either a label or value
property or both. The label property is displayed in the suggestion
menu.
So you would need to rename category_name to label either in PHP or later on in your JavaScript source handler function. The latter would require you to replace the PHP URL with a callback function like in the remote example. That way you could get the data any way you want (e.g. by jQuery.getJSON()) and work with it before it gets handed over to the suggestion box.
Hope this helps.
Regarding your comment, this should do it:
$rows = array();
while ($r = mysql_fetch_array($category_result)) {
$rows[] = array("label" => $r["category_name"]);
}
echo json_encode($rows);

I am testing some network packets of my Organisation's product. We already have custom plugins. I am trying to add some some more fields into those existing plugins (like conversion of 2 byte code to a string and assign it to a field)
Thankyou in advance for reading my query.
--edit
Wireshark version : 2.4.5 (organization's plugins dont work on latest wireshark application)
--edit
Problem statement:
I am able to add field and show value, but fieldname is not displayed as defined.
I cannot share the entire .lua file but i will try to explain What i did:
Below is the image where I have a field aprint.type. this is a two byte field. In .lua file, for display purpose it is appended with corresponding description using a custom function int_to_enum.
I want to add one more proto field aprint.typetext which will show the text.
What I did:
Added a protofield f_apr_msg_type_txt = ProtoField.string("aprint.typetxt","aprint_type_text") (Tried f_apr_msg_type_txt = ProtoField.string("aprint.typetxt","aprint_type_text",FT_STRING) also)
Below the code where subtree aprint.type is shown, added my required field as subtree:add(f_apr_msg_type_txt, msg_type_string) (Below is image of code extract)
I am able to see the text but field Name is shown as Wireshark Lua text (_ws.lua.text)
Normally displaying strings based on numeric values is accomplished by a value string lookup, so you'd have something like so:
local aprint_type_vals = {
[1] = "Foo",
[2] = "Bar",
[9] = "State alarm"
}
f_apr_msg_type = ProtoField.uint16("aprint.type", "Type", base.DEC, aprint_type_vals)
f_apr_msg_type_txt = ProtoField.string("aprint.typetxt","aprint_type_text", base.ASCII)
... then
local msg_type = tvb(offset, 2):le_uint()
subtree:add_le(f_apr_msg_type, tvb(offset, 2))
subtree:add(f_apr_msg_type_txt, tvb(offset, 2), (aprint_type_vals[msg_type] or "Unknown"))
--[[
Alternatively:
subtree:add(f_apr_msg_type_txt, tvb(offset, 2)):set_text("aprint_type_text: " .. (aprint_type_vals[msg_type] or "Unknown"))
--]]
I'm also not sure why you need the extra field with only the text when the text is already displayed with the existing field, but that's basically how you'd do it.
I want to use a table for navigation purposes. Therefore I use the following code (the table looks good, all datas are complete):
// Admin.view.xml View
<Table id="objectsTable" itemPress="onSelectionChange">
// Admin.controller.js Controller
onSelectionChange: function(event) {
// After call undefined
var partnerId = event.getSource().getBindingContext().getProperty("BUSINESS_PARTNER_ID");
// After call defined and correct
var objectId = event.getSource().getBindingContext().getProperty("ID");
var router = this.getOwnerComponent()
.getRouter();
router.navTo("adminDetails", {
partner: partnerId,
object: objectId
});
After debugging I found out, that the value objectIdis undefined (while ID is present). This causes the navigation to not work properly.
So I looked at the data source (oData), which looks as follows :
ID | BUSINESS_PARTNER_ID | ADDRESS | FILES (oData association/navigation) |
.... All records are available, including the BUSINESS_PARTNER_ID
Why is the variable BUSINESS_PARTNER_IDundefined while all the data from the records are displayed correctly? I can query it, except BUSINESS_PARTNER_ID. Does anybody know how I can fix this?
Do partnerId and objectId have values? If the values for these are there then we need to check the routing and your manifest files. If partnerId and ObjectId are blank.
If these fields are blank i can think of another fix. Instead of binding the event from table, i believe you must have a columnlistitem or objectlistitem under your table. You can assign the press event on that and move this code to that.
Basically i am triggering the event from list item instead of table.
Thanks and Regards,
Veera
"Just" change my query to
event.getParameter("listItem").getBindingContext().getProperty("XYZ");
I am currently trying to figure out, how to modify the parameter being integrated into the URL Mapping I am using.
static mappings =
{
"/$controller/$action?/$id?/(.$format)?"
{
constraints {
// apply constraints here
}
}
name test1: "/.../$title/..."{
controller = "study"
action = "st_show"
}
name test2: "/.../$title/..."{
controller = "search"
action = "se_show"
}
The parameter $title is pretty much a dataset, which is pulled from a database and which will get transmitted in the following format [ this is a title ]. So there are square brackets in front and behind the string and words are seperated through blanks.
If I am creating a link through g:link now with the params nested in, it gets put into the url as it is pulled from the database. What I am attempting is to create SEO-URLs, which will present a certain title of a publication devided by hyphens instead of url-encoded "%20".
Until now, I was able to generate dynamic urls looking like this:
http://localhost:8080/projectname/show/%5BAllgemeine%20Bevölkerungs[...]/782/...PARAMS...
Furthermore I already implemented it through JQuery, though it should be static and users should be able to copy the link to open up the page themselves - that wouldn't be possible when changing the url client-side while loading up the page.
Is there a way to define a function with something like replaceAll.(' ', '-'), which can be invoked onto the parameter in the mapping to replace blanks with hyphens and f.e. square brackets with an empty character?
That's pretty much, what I wasn't able to come by through the documentation.
Thank you already in advance for your help!
I managed to solve my problem by creating a service with a function containing a regex and executing this function onto the parameter title in my g:link, which I firstly converted to a string, which gets passed to the function.
<g:link controller="study" action="st_show" params="[data: data, ... title: ConversionService.convert(fieldValue(bean: path).toString(), ... data: data)]"></g:link>
And the function in the ConversionService
public static String convert(String title){
title = title.replaceAll("\\s", "-").replaceAll("[^0-9a-zA-Z\\-]", "");
return title;
}
I am still very new to Zend and running into some issues on exporting my data to a CSV.
I found a great resource that explains the headers and download part here however I am running into issues when trying to export the actual data.
If I create a variable like $content = "test" the export works fine using the code above.
However when I duplicate my indexAction code, make some changes, and bring it into my downloadAction, I am getting issues that I believe are due to my content being returned as an Object rather than an array or string.
My Module is grabbing the SQL by using:
public function fetchAllMembers($order = null , $order_by = null, $selectwhere = null) {
$session = new SessionContainer('logggedin_user');
$sql = new Sql($this->adapter);
$select = new Select();
$select->from(array('u' => 'tbl_all_data'));
if ($selectwhere != null){
$select->where($selectwhere);
}
$select->order($order_by . ' ' . $order);
$selectString = $sql->getSqlStringForSqlObject($select);
$results = $this->adapter->query($selectString, Adapter::QUERY_MODE_EXECUTE);
$results->buffer();
return $results;
}
and my Controller is calling that SQL by using:
$content = $modulesTable->fetchAllMembers($order, $order_by, $where);
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I don't need anyone to write the code for me just help with pointoing me in the right direction.
$this->adapter->query returns a Zend\Db\ResultSet object. So you need to call $results = $results->toArray(); to send an array.
Also you need to loop through the array and echo it out in your view file.
Results, returned by adapter are ResultSet type. I guess you need to call at least
current()
method to grab some data. And they will be of array type, so, again you need to do something with them.
toArray() is often used to quickly get data.
More sophisticated way to get data, is to use next() method with current():
$firstThing = $result->current();
$result->next();
$result->next();
$thirdThing = $result->current();
It's just an example, but it can be useful in some cases.
I have the url parmeters http://www.nositeinparticular.coom/product1?test=brand&old=Superman&new=Batman.
I was wanting to know the proper way to use javascript to do the following;
Look to see if test=brand
If it does replace all the values of old with the value of new, ie replacing the word Superman with Batman.
I have this so far to see if test equals brand:
$(document).ready(function() {
var url = location.pathname;
if (url.indexOf("test=brand")) {
}
How would I go about parsing the values from the url and running the replacment?
