Getting rid of double green lines in blog posts - hyperlink

I have a blog on Blogger, and sometimes, I notice that double green lines are automatically added below certain words, which will display an ad if you hover over it (see picture below). Is there a way I could permanently make these lines not show up (e.g. by adding code to the Blogger template)? I just noticed them being added to some of my posts recently, and I want them to go away forever.

This is most probably a browser plugin/gadget that is inserting these links, not Blogger. Disable, or better, uninstall the TextEnhance plugin/gadget .
See: http://wafflesatnoon.com/2011/10/05/seeing-unwanted-text-enhance-ads/

I was having the same text-enhance issue. It was installed on Chrome under the extension Premium-play codec c. Deleting the ext got rid of the adware.

To de-install this trojan horse, follow these steps:
De-install the following program(s) (go to the 'Add/Remove' section in the Control Panel):
--Pando media enhancer
--I Want This!
2) Apps/extensions for Chrome
*To remove extensions, type chrome://extensions into the omnibox/address bar
*To remove apps, go to the New Tab page > Apps panel > right click app you want to remove
--Premiumplay Codec-C (extension)
--Yontoo Layers (extension?)
--Rewards Gaming (app)
For Internet Explorer, disable the same extension(s).
I hope this helped banish this software from the internet.
Best regards and good luck!

When you get a pop-up, click on the name of the company that conducts the ads and you will go to their corporate site that has a disable link and it will effectively disable these links in any page that the company conducts business. Close and reopen browser and you will no longer see double line ads from that company anywhere on the internet. If you clear your cookies you will have to repeat this step, However, this is an easy way to stop the ads without corrupting your OS or browser. If you have to hack code and you don't know what you are doing you can damage a program or your computer beyond repair...If you know what you are doing then go forth and hack away.

Does anyone know how to set MSEDGE Canary homepage set up Android

I have been searching all day and I cannot for the life of me find out what the url is for Microsoft Edge! I'm trying to set it as my homepage on my Samsung S20, but it says it needs a url, but whenever I go to search for the url, it just tells me about MS Edge Canary/Chrome doesn't use urls anymore. I don't have a windows version, and the only other information I can find is for Windows phones! I have a MS365 account, so I am also running into sync problems between Edge, Edge Canary, Edge Canary Dev, as well as Bing, Google, and Google Chrome. If anyone could possibly let me know if there's another way of accessing Edge, specifically Canary, as their homepage, I would be so grateful!
Do you want to know how to set the browser homepage in MS Edge? If this is the case, you could refer to these steps below:
Launch Microsoft Edge on Android.
Tap on ... menu for options.
Choose the Settings menu from the list.
Select the Home page tab from the available menu options.
Switch the Radio button to A Specific page.
Enter the URL that you want to set as a homepage. ex: https://www.bing.com
Hit on the Save button.
If I misunderstood anything, could you explain what the "what the url is for Microsoft Edge" you mentioned is? And describe your problem in more detail? Thank you for your understanding.

unable to register device via web page. Page does not follow tutorial

In the page below, it specifies that you can register your device in the left hand column of the page, under advanced options:
https://developers.google.com/assistant/sdk/guides/library/python/embed/register-device
This is no longer the case, the option is not there. Instead there is a backend option.
Is there any kind of web page to do this action at all?
Would prefer a graphical option to a command line one.
Ok. sorted this out.
My thanks to those who looked over this question. Basically I deleted the current projects and started again. the device model registration is right down (scroll right down to) the bottom of the page on the first screen after you have first created the project. Apparently you need to not skip this step, or navigate away from this page before you do the device creation.
after that everything went well and is up and running. Thanks again

Why does the angular-material `Getting Started` example not actually work?

Is it just me, or is the angular-material "Getting Started" example broken?
On that page (link above), there's an inline codepen to show using angular-material. But the demo doesn't work! (In particular, I don't see a button to collapse the sidebar.)
Since I used this example in my started project, I spent quite some time troubleshooting it -- to no avail. Then, I realized the example itself it may be broken. And sure 'nuff, it is!
Does anyone know what the actual bug is, so I can work around it on my test app? It must have worked at some time; but I can't figure out why it's broken now.
Thanks!
That particular pen is working fine for me but I have noticed a few are not working, and it's due to the angular-material.js link being incorrect in the dependencies (under the pen's settings) the link provided redirects to the CSS.
This is intentional - the sidebar only becomes collapsable on smaller screens and is open on larger screens. Shrinking your browser window will show the collapse button.
That being said, the Getting Started page is definitely in need of an update. It is a good guide for a basic page structure, but the individual demo pages will be a lot better if you're looking to try out some of the components. (Every demo has a CodePen link to open an editable version.)

ShowShareSheet creates black/blank screen

Using DELPHI XE4/XE5.
Using an ActionList and Tbutton that is linked to the aciton: ActionShowShareSheet, the picture above is my result. I can not find a lot of troubleshooting around or many examples regarding the topic. I am trying to share an image with informational text - nothing to fancy - either by email or whichever the desired social sharing service is preferred by the user.
Yes, I have looked at the example provided by Delphi, and even attempted copying and pasting the same controls/components from that example.
edit ---
Okay, so I tested in in the iPad as well, it appears to show the popver modal but no items are shown to share with. So I am now facing two problems:
1. ShowActionShareSheet does not display properly with an iPhone device/simulator
2. I have nothing to share with, or I can't. I have signed into Facebook as a test via the iOS device settings and it still does not work properly.
Help ! Thanks
~ Simple solution. Just doesn't work in the simulator.

how to open many tabs in chromium but unload/disable inactive/notCurrent ones, releasing memory and cpu?

So I have 50 tabs opened on chromium, but that is using too much memory and some of the CPU.
How can I have all those concurrent researches I am doing opened but not clog my machine?
I think there should have a way that only the active tab is loaded in memory and running, and all the others should stay closed/unloaded from memory, until I want to look at them...
Any extension can do something like that?
EDIT: tabs outliner seems to do the trick as #Danny Beckett said, but I still wonder if the non active tabs could be unloaded (automatically); may be something like keep only the last newest 10 tabs opened/loaded, and auto-close the older ones; may be tabs outliner can have that feature in the future, just need find a proper way to ask its developer... any other tips?
EDIT: here a link to the idea: auto close old tabs, go there and upvote if you like it!
The Tabs Outliner extension does exactly what you're asking.
Type command "chrome://kill" (or "chrome:kill") in the address URL bar (like a http:// URL but with chrome:// first) to individually release tabs from memory.
Otherwise for a GUI, in the standard Chrome Task Manager (type Shift-Esc [or go to menu "More Tools..." then "Task Manager"]), then just "click-to-kill" the tabs you want to release from memory.
That language command is painful/difficult/violent/triggering but will not crash your computer or cause harm, that is the actual English command.
(I too use and love the Tabs Outliner suggested before, but still sometimes type the command.
Pro Tip: Make "chrome://kill" a convenient link in your Bookmark Bar.
Other benefits to the command version, are that if you reload the page, Chrome with chrome:kill still has it cached, so page position and form fields can be restored automatically. However with Tabs Outliner it wil not remember the reloaded page contents, there is not any cache.)
You can right click on Chrome title bar and choose "Task Manager"
Task Manager path
Then you can choose for which tab or window you want to end process which will essentially unload tabs and windows from the memory.
Task Manager screenshot
You can close everything except for the main Chrome process indicated by green arrow in the screenshot above. Ending this process would be the same as closing all Chrome instances altogether.
