Has something changed in Firefox 6 so I can no longer add my nsIProtocolHandler (and nsIChannel) implementation from an add-on just by registering it under a contract like #mozilla.org/network/protocol;1?name=myscheme?
I've checked all the interfaces I use if any changed (judging by a new
UUID), but I don't get a call to my getFactoryProc I list in NSModule,
like I did before.
Do I need to add a category (like http-startup or something?) or is
something else wrong?
(the code that worked in firefox 3.6 is still here I haven't committed
the new code yet...)

Update: Okay, I figured this out. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=656331. Basically you need to export the right kVersion value in your module or the library will be unloaded immediately after it is loaded (i.e. the behavior you are observing). This behavior is new as of Firefox 5.
If you haven't updated to Firefox 4 yet then you need to change the way that you register your XPCOM component. See https://developer.mozilla.org/en/XPCOM/XPCOM_changes_in_Gecko_2.0. The sections on JS components or binary components are relevant depending on whether your component is implemented in JS or C++.

Today I started to write my first web application and I can't pass one step.
Everything works almost fine... I can connect to the server and open website. Problem is when I open browser and type the same address on the second pc, then I get te same data as on the first one.
Detailed...
Application has two forms, first is for login, and second one is for receiving data.
When I login on the first pc and second form shows up, and then I open browser and put the address of the server on the second pc, I see the second form after login from first pc.
What I should do in this case? I tried to find the solution in the net, but I couldn't :(
If you are using any Delphi IDE after XE3 (including) and using the IntraWeb edition that comes with Delphi you must upgrade in order to have it working correctly. It is free, and more information can be obtained here:

There is a demo named Features that shows you exactly how to create a multi form application. To be honest, I work with IntraWeb for a long time and I've never seen that. Unless you are using some global var to hold your "current" active form. Have in mind that IntraWeb is a fully multithreaded application and global vars should not be used, unless you have some mechanism protecting concurrent access (but you should get rid of them and use ServerController properties instead).

I work with Delphi from some time, but I never used Intraweb, I worked with ComPort and IP works for I/O devices. I have XE7 and I upgraded Intraweb to 14.0.52.

I have searched for days with no solution in sight.
I need multiple Chromium instances in one single application and each of this instance logins to the same site with different account (ex: outlook.com).
I tried this solution but there's no "OnGetCookieManager" event in DECF3 new version. Apparently there was a related bug and event onGetCookieManager was removed in the 1547 CEF3.
I tried this but it doesn't work too.
Is this really possible? How?
I'm using DCEF3 (revision: 0cc175e7a629) and Delphi XE3.
Here's what CEF3 maintainer told me:
"Cookies can be stored globally, per request context or something else entirely. It depends on whether you pass a CefRequestContext to CreateBrowser*() and what you return from CefRequestContextHandler::GetCookieManager."
I'm not entirely sure how CreateBrowser is exposed in Delphi (I only use the C++ API), but I can confirm that GetCookieManager still exists in trunk (as the only method of CefRequestContextHandler).
Update It appears I have to rebuild/redeploy the app to see the changes. Anyone know why I have to do this? It's a static .xhtml page. Coming back to update, looks like I just have to stop/restart the server, not a rebuild. I was dumb and didn't try that first, mostly because I have to rebuild/deploy often anyways.
I'm working on a JSF 2 app that uses f:subviews. I'm on one subview where my changes aren't reflected in the UI when I refresh the browser. I've worked on other subviews where I don't have this problem.
I have a batch script which copies my .xhtml files into my installed apps folder. The batch script reports the file is copied over. It's business as usual... If I drill down into this particular installed app, I see my change in the file. Again, seems like business as usual. The change is not reflected in the UI when I refresh, however.
These are simple text changes I'm making, but not seeing.
The problematic subview doesn't appear to be anything special, it's just a p:datatable that's included via a ui:include with a couple of parameters for the data and to give it a unique id. If I replace the p:datatable with just simple text, the "old" table still shows up in the UI when I refresh. I just can't get any changes in this subview to be reflected in the UI.
Console doesn't throw any errors.
I'm using WebSphere 7.0.
Never encountered this problem before. It isn't a browser caching issue as I can edit other subviews and see those changes when I refresh the page.
Anyone have any ideas?
I have created a dashboard for an Umbraco site and I want to link from it to various node in the tree.
From what I can tell Umbraco uses editcontent.aspx?id={thenodeid} and javascript:opencontent({nodeid}).
Whenever I try to use these they always fail.
Does anyone know how to open a display a node in the Umbraco back end?
Like Tim Saunders said you really just need to target the correct iframe. The openContent function looks like this:

}
So you need to target the 'right' iframe.
I've tested editContent.aspx?id=1234 on my Umbraco installation and it seems to work correctly.
I'm assuming you are replacing {thenodeid} with the actual node id you want?
Umbraco uses iFrames in the backend for the content tree and the content areas etc. This means that you do not always have full access to the Javascript libraries from the frame that you are in.
Therefore you may need to either include the library in the page you are working with or try and reference the method calls by walking up the dom.
I can't find any documentation for this so it may be a case of looking at the HTML source and working out what is going on.
I want to insert some script into every page, which have some functions that will be called by the modified HTML of that page, using a Firefox extension. I am able to insert the JavaScript into the head of the HTML, and also modify the page, but the java script functions are not called by the onmouseover event.
Does someone has any pointer on how to do that, using java script in local extension or as a online resource.

Make a Greasemonkey script. See Userscripts.org for lots of example ones to work off.
Why not use Greasemonkey? It allows you to execute javascript on any page on Firefox, and if executing the code you enter isn't good enough you could dynamically add links to the head, too.
you can modify the DOM using Firebug. I am not sure if you can load files locally.. sounds malicious. Also, you can just run arbitrary javascript commands in the Firebug console (a la python/ruby console)
There are some Greasemonkey-to-extension "compilers" (or extension-wrappers) out there:
Arantius's GM compiler
Gina Trapani's multiple-GM-script compiler
I've used the first one with extensive internal tweaking over time. However, I don't believe the compiler is actively maintained (default max-version is only 3.0), so may not be up-to-date with the latest GreaseMonkey, or FireFox.
I think Gina Trapani's is more designed for multiple scripts targetting the same domain, but I haven't used it.
Neither of these is a "GreaseMonkey solution" per se, as the end-user never has to install GreaseMonkey. They get a real-live FireFox extension. The core is very similar to GM, but you can change or add as much as you like.
