I am a new developer in BlackBerry Application. I have been working on iphone application too.
I was really shocked to see the user interface of BlackBerry. Coming from iphone application development it was hard to cope with this new interface.
Now i am working on an application which require a registration page . So far i could only find the normal text field and label field .
I wanted to know if there are any other ways to represent the field like the facebook/ twitter application in the BlackBerry Applications.
I really appreciate any help available in this regard.

I'm unsure what you mean by saying "field like the facebook/ twitter application" (probably because I'm not a big fan of those). However here is a couple of useful BB UI guides:

Yes, I'd say BB is a step behind of iPhone/Android with providing nice/rich UI components out of the box, but the API does allow to create any desired custom Field.

I am using Version 4.4.1.0 of O2S.Components.PDF4NET
I am using this in an MVC project to run through a series of 6 views and fill an object with the data required for the PDF.
When the PDF is bound and emailed in the last step it works great. all except for when it is viewed by default PDF reader on iOS devices.
My company purchased this product on the cheaper plan so the 90 support is over and I cannot access any sort of forums from there site.
I read a similar issue regarding a button not being displayed on iOS but there was no resolution other then to email the company.
I hope that there is a viable solution as I would prefer not to have to cut my losses and change to a different product over something as short sighted as not supporting/testing against one of the more common platforms people use to consume media.
I'm not sure what you mean by 'bound content' but I assume you are talking about form fields.
Forms fields and annotations are not displayed by the CGPDF API in iOS, only the main page content is displayed. It is not a limitation of PDF4NET, it is a limitation of the iOS PDF display engine. The workaround is to flatten the form fields thus making them part of the page content.

I am a beginner in the Salesforce 1 platform. I started this internship and I am being asked to create a jQuery Mobile app in Salesforce 1. I have learned how to build the app, but I am lost as to how to add code to it. I am a beginner developer being asked to recreate a Mobile app that is more for someone with more experience. I am not going to give up, because I know this is a good learning experience for me. The Salesforce resources have not been helpful to me. Can you help me try to figure out how to get started with this? Do I connect the app to a Salesforce page or is there another developing tool I am missing? Also I cannot add the jQuery Mobile library to be able to get my code to work. How does that app connect to the code? I am confused how the objects and fields relate to the code I write for the app. Help!
Just create a VF page, create a tab and assign the VF page to that tab. The VF page should be "Mobile Ready" i.e. you should check the checkbox when you create the VF page. For jQuery libraries, you have to add them as static resources.

Yes. the other user is correct. Upload the "min" version of the jQuery as a static resource to invoke jQuery on your Visualforce page.

Google's browser offers a mobile emulator for iOS so that developers can develop on one platform and test on many platforms. Its is difficult to use though, imho. It has quite a learning curve.
I thought the Apple iOS User Experience Guidelines would include recommendations around providing login / register dialogs (toggling between the two etc). I can't find any. Does anyone know if recommendations for this exist, and if so, can you provide a link to the recommendations?
I don't think you're going to find anything as specific as what you're looking for. If there were guidelines/restrictions on everything, every app would look identical.
There is a section in the documentation you mentioned that talks about Alerts, Action Sheets and Modal Views. It has some good information more generally on these kinds of interface elements (which are the kind of thing you may use to create your required login and register dialogs).
If you're looking for some inspiration on more colourful login and register screens, take a look at some of these designs which are well suited to the iOS platform.
If that's not enough, take a look at some existing apps for inspiration.
The only advice I would give in terms of login and register dialogs (in general), would be to not ask the user for too much information. An email address and a password is sufficient. If you demanded any more information, I can guarantee the sign-up rate would be affected. This is even truer in the mobile context where people use their mobile device in short bursts. You can always collect more information (if you require it) after the person is registered.

I want to test a terminal emulator I have, but I really don't want to learn Hercules 360, before someone mentions that.
I'm not after creating mainframe applications, what really want to do is learn how to send tn3270 screens for display on a terminal emulator. My reason is simple; I have a set of screens from a customer where their layout, look and feel, etc are all fixed. I want to test my client software against those screens without having to trail all the way out to the customers site to do it in the first instance.
Failing that, does anyone know of a "less intense" method of simulating a tn3270 environment complete with fields, attributes, etc.. ?
I found a reference to an old freeware product called miniFrame by CodeCutter, but the website for it no longer exists and google returns various links that just point back to it.

I have some experience in iPhone development. Now one client wants to develop a BI (Business Intelligence) related iPad app for their organisation.
As I have no previous experience in development of such an application, I googled a bit & learned that these BI related apps show various data present in an organisation in various chart/graphical formats to the user.
Q1) So what is the best way to pull these data from server?
Q2) Also is there any API / Framework available to do this kind of app in iPad?

There are a TON of ways to do this. You can build it with most any technology that your organization uses. The main key is to keep a clear separation of tiers. Build a web application that queries your database and have it present the information as XML or JSON. You can then parse the data and present it in your iOS application.
For actually doing data visualization, you will want to take a look at Core-Plot. I've used it on projects and it has worked well: http://code.google.com/p/core-plot/
If your customer wants an out-of-the-box solution for getting their BI on mobile devices, take a look at Actuate/BIRT. They have a simple way to get it into mobile.
